Ispire Daab

In general it's my goal with presales to under promise and over deliver. It doesn't always work out that way but it did this time. I'm glad I was able to get them in transit this weekend. Let's hope USPS delivers.

As far as the cups are concerned I'll get some measurements but they are basically the same in the bottom but the lip on the daab cups is longer and doesn't have the air inlet like the wand cups. The vapor shoots up the top in the the daab whereas it sneakes down the the side of the cup and goes down into the banger with the wand. I'm run the wand at 480F but and running the daab at 550F and doing a double cycle with similar (larger) dab sizes. I'll get some pics up soon.
Just ordered one from VGOODIEZ  , First time ordering from them so I hope it all goes well and I get it before I leave in a couple of weeks

Hope these help. Seriously awesome not dealing with any kind of atomizer and being able to clean it up so quickly.
Totally agree. Don't see any reason to mess with an atomizer at this point, unless going very budget with the neat lil XMax Qomo (which now has quartz atty option).

We'll see what others' experience is with these, but at this point, I see the main Daab downside will be the likely lack of aftermarket glass due to the magnetic base that is incorporated in the stock one. For those that like such things (he says, glancing at his 3 Switch glass options).

No kidding, my Wand practically arrived before I completed my order.
I think Scott’s using a transporter for deliveries.
“Beam my Wand up Scotty!”
I received my shipping notice this morning already  , now I just have to wait for the brown truck to arrive .

I know I can buy with such confidence from @VGOODIEZ . Products are vetted thoroughly and carries small manufacturers hard to find elsewhere in UW. Scott and team are great.
I couldn’t agree more. @VGOODIEZ will 💯 take care of you. i had a product arrive DOA and Scott’s taking care of everything. And I’ll be better off because of it. Great guy, great vendor, great part of the community.

Received today and unboxed to delight. Nice packaging and the feel is sturdy like that of other nicer erigs. Fit and startup was easy as expected. Everything was clean (cleaned again) and fits nicely in the case. Initial impression is that this is a winner. Does the job, and you don’t feel like you’re damaging an atomizer each dab. Does that makes sense? Have no issues with the top either. Nice pull.

Couple of observations.

Loading will take some time to figure out best way or other tools to use. Bucket sits very deep. Cold starts are very nice thoug

Been using higher temps then using the wand alone. However, efficiency seems to be much greater. Same size dab gets reheated in this for some extra pulls.

I like hot starts but I'm using a longer dabber to load.

More units shipping today to everyone!

Enjoy!

Have you tried applying your concentrate to the end of your carb cap? You may want to try a longer one than the one Ispire supply’s but I’ve found that to be a simple way to load.
Good luck!

Nice video @VGOODIEZ. Will try the on/off technique. Was at 530 last night and really starting to feel a sweet spot.

I do a swab on the insert but don’t remove totally. Figured would do weekly deep cleans.
The build-up on my Wand cup can get tough to clean(yes, I know I"m in the Dab thread this time:)).
I find more frequent cleanings reduce that stubborn build-up.

That is where my Puffco Hot Knife shines...cold loading becomes easy instead of a frustrating fight...that I used to lose pretty often by the look of the amount of rosin I would get on my fingers. :2c:
I do not use it for normal eRig duties, just cold start device filling as it feels fragile compared to a decent Ti dab stick.

I was really looking forward to the Daab as I’m already a fan of the Wand. However, my excitement appears to have turned into regret as my unit left much to be desired. I want to preface the rest by stating that I didn’t order from VGoodiez and this is not the fault of the vendor/retailer I ordered from, but I have reached out for support and am still awaiting a response.

In any case, my unit gives off a burnt plastic/chemical smell from the induction heater chamber. Upon further inspection, I noticed a scratch mark on the lip of the water piece. The carb cap is too long and can’t make a proper seal with the bottomless banger. Then there’s also what almost appears like a glue repair at the top joint of the bottomless banger. But what compelled me to set this rig aside or get rid of it is that the smell also leached into the flavor and practically ruined my session despite thoroughly cleaning all pieces with 99% ISO and performing a burn off prior to first use. Thankfully I had my Peak ready (for a side by side comparison) to chase down the fowl taste. I’m too afraid for my health to attempt another session as that smell is still present after airing out for a day and I’m not sure what materials were used and where they were sourced from (besides knowing the device is manufactured in China). So here I am venting my frustration after spending a couple bills on a heavy paper weight right now.

Hoping others are having a better experience as I don’t want to dampen people’s anticipation. I think the tech is genius, low maintenance and simply brilliant. Just wish better execution and quality control.
