Is it worth upgrading from the Dynavap M2019 to the M7XL?

Hello guys,

I don't collect Dynavaps. But since I'm going to buy THE WAND, I wondered if I should upgrade my old M2019. It's great, working 100%. So I ask, will I be impressed by the M7XL's performance, or is it basically the same thing?

ps. In my country it's impossible to buy Tempest, Anvil etc. Only Dynavap is available here.

Similar but the M7XL is less 'hot' or at least it's more flexible, I think. I consider it an upgrade. It holds heat well for extended hits, roast is more even, less prone to scorching. The XL condenser is definitely an upgrade.

The Woodwynd is very different from the M19, I might consider that if you are looking for something more complimentary. With the perforated cap it's got a much more open draw, a very different experience. Both the WW and the M7XL really shine with torch heating, but should also work fine with the Wand.

Can you not get a BFG Fusion 2.0 shipped in, or something? The M7 is really nice, and the XL condenser seems like it classes it up with length and airflow settings (but you can do airflow settings by pushing your condenser closer or further from the tip). All that said, my m7 hasn't replaced the M2018 in the "reach test".

If I were you I'd spend that money on something that does more, since your M2019 is so great.

What specifically are you looking to improve from the M19?

Both Ms give similar results. The exception is the XL mouthpiece, which is nice for larger hands and if you're interested in the airflow control. The XL mouthpiece can be bought separately and used with your M19. If you're interested in a one heat extraction with the Wand, I recommend the armored cap as an upgrade.
