Musk and Trump Are Causing the Dumbest Imperial Collapse in History

Ok. I agree that Trump and Co are accelerating the American Empire's fall. But this is Liberal claptrap:

President Trump, by contrast, was handed an empire in splendid condition. The core alliance of NATO was stronger than it had been in decades, as Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine pushed Sweden and Finland to join. Thanks to President Biden’s policies, the American economy was the envy of the world, with a post-pandemic recovery that outstripped any peer nation. The dollar was still by far the most important reserve currency, and the U.S. still had control over global financial pipelines.

Give me a break. The American Empire has been falling for this entire century.

The idea that Biden's economy was great is bullshit. It was great for speculators and people who make their money by OWNING not for people who make money by working, i.e. the majority. I already pointed out how 25% of working age Americans are functionally unemployed. There's also this:

The rich are making money off of all that credit card interest. Our economy is all smoke and mirrors.

You're conflating that quote & the strength economy with who it's serving best & benefits from it, and those are two different things. Yes, the US economy is strong as discussed in the article. And yes, that doesn't mean it helps many people who don't have a big income or assets as you mention. Again, two different things, and a non-sequitur. Trump's actions are threatening economic pullback to recession, and many people will eventually find out (again) that a strong economy is a whole lot better than weakness & especially a recession for most everyone.

I feel for the bureaucrats having their lives disrupted, that happened in the oil business as well. I'm mostly concerned about Trump's unknown relationship with Putin and whether it not we're headed toward economic collapse and possibly even WW3. I doubt it, but maybe it'll all work out in the end, somehow, hopefully.

In the meantime, didn't know where to post this video, thought maybe it would lighten up the fucking mood in here.

Stoner Cats having trouble finding the right sativa. This is an animated series from 4 years ago that went under my radar. It's pretty well made and funny with lots of celebrities, including the Kutchers, Seth McFarland, Chris Rock, Jane Fonda, and Dax Shepard. As might be expected from McFarland, the story gets complicated.

Can someone please explain to me how the Federal Government harassing trans people is gonna make groceries more affordable?

It's also especially fucking stupid to have THIS person's passport read MALE:

If you got 100 MAGA hillbillies in a room and asked them at gunpoint to tell you if Hunter or Marjorie is the trans woman, 0 of them could do it to save their lives.
