Discontinued Inhalater XP

Lol, okay well I will admit I'm by no means the best photographer in the world. I only had a couple hours to shoot those photos and edit them, before I had to leave out of town. I'm actually on the plane right now flying back, so unfortunately no Inhalater in my hands at the moment, but if I remember correctly the finish was like semi-glossy. Definitely had some gloss to it, but nothing crazy.

I was having some trouble with part of my photo tent blocking the shot when I was shooting the side-by-side comparison. I didn't really have time to figure out what to do to get the shot I wanted, so I just took the best shot I could at the time. However, it is in fact a 100% accurate size comparison. I didn't photoshop one in later and try to hope for perfect scale, they were actually photographed right next to each other laying down horizontally (yes I know not the best angle, but didn't have a choice at the time).

I would assume that Inhalaters with bi-color decals (knob is silver, black body) would be earlier models, because the all black has a cleaner, more finished look in my opinion. I could definitely be wrong, but that just seems to make the most sense to me.

Sincerely,
Taylor Shomaker

Hi Taylor! The Inhalater in your pics looks to me like a more "finished" product and the most possible to be the actual latest iteration of the XP... :2c:

hey guys i have a quick question that i hope someone will be able to help me with. i have been reading the inh thread and saw that you can remove the bottom screen with a bent straight pin to clean underneath. my question is how do you get the screen back in? does it come out easily and does it secure or click in when you put it back in? if anyone can go through the details of taking out and putting back the bottom screen i would greatly appreciate it.

What!??!!! How do you order from them, what's there website? Are you 100% sure they're legit and the XP's legit? Also, will the warranty still be valid if you order from them, and how long did it take for the money from PV to go back into your bank account?

I'm doing this as we speak but I ran into a slight problem... how did you cancel your order from PV? I'm looking around and I can't figure it out >_>

Yes its legit. We've had multiple members purchase from him already. You should be able to find them if you look back a bit.

Ah ok thanks. I payed with paypal and its already refunded :)

A message to PV if you're reading this: I did not cancel because of the wait. I was fine with waiting, I knew I would have to from the beginning. I canceled because of horrible communication. When I bought my vape it said on site there would be a 3 week wait. A month went by and nothing happened. I then tried to get in contact multiple times, and no one was around to help out because your site was down. Yes, this may of been a 'scheduled' downtime, but that is no excuse. You chose the time to go down. You chose to go down right after a brand new vape was put up to buy. That was a horrible decision. You should've waited until the rush for the Inhalator was over. But fine, one bad decision. Lets keep going. Sure, why not. I was finally contacted and told it would be shipped out that week. Ok sweet. That week goes by, nothing happens. I message them on site and I call them, and I get two differing times. Ok... Then I finally get an email, saying on the 19th they will be getting more shipments. This is two weeks later then what I was told. In my honest opinion I HIGHLY doubt any units will be shipped out on the 19th. I would be willing to bet money that they won't be shipped until April. Why you might ask? Because of the history of us. Go back and read this all again, and then try to think about this from my shoes. I have no reason to believe anything you say, because nothing you have told me since day 1 has been true. I highly doubt I will ever be purchasing from you again.

Now lets compare this to Kush Paradise. I messaged him about buying a vape from him today. Within 10 minutes he responds back. He is very friendly and open and answers all the questions I have. Also, there won't be a giant wait, it will be shipping out fairly soon after I order it. This is a person who I would want to continue coming back to.

Good decision man, I try not to preorder at all due to all the stuff I see going on here.

I never pre ordered my XP but I was 1/5 to have it first.. Kush Paradise answered all my questions and sent me pics to prove he was legit too, and I got mine from him before anyone got theirs from PV.

Sometimes you gotta be a smart shopper instead of pulling triggers on pre orders thinking your going to be first. I didnt pre order the Cera also and I already own 1 without having to wait months [shame i had to send it for repair tho].

Cookieking, I don't think it is PV's fault IMHO. I do think communication from what you wrote could have been better but PV treats us well and I feel that is giving them a bad rep from an issue pharmacor is having not them. Pharm promised to ship and didn't. The were the ones that started the snowball. It just so happens by his own admission kush paradise goes over and picks up a unit at a time which is a different ball game to a manufacture with a site stocking them again IMO.

In either respect, I hope you get a good working unit and I know you will tell us all about it:tup: . I really hope they truly fixed the issues this time.

+1

I cancelled mine last night after a response to information about shipping. The response was the same exact response they had given me the week before, essentially blaming the delay on mfg, but pushing the date even further. That might be the legit case, but then again Kush is getting the new units with little or no difficulty.

Fair enough, and I suppose the blame is partly on Pharmacores. However, a company should not be giving out a firm date and then not sticking to it. One time is acceptable, but to be continually given dates and each time delayed, that is not. If they were to merely of said that there were issues with getting enough units and they would be shipped out asap I would be happier. Combine that with weekly updates of X units were shipped or at least X happened this week I would be a happy camper and not have canceled. But then... I don't really think this is the case. Pharacore obviously has units in stock since Kush is able to get them without hassle. So unless Pharamcore is simply horrendous at shipping imo PV doesn't really have a valid excuse. But yeah, hopefully all the issues are worked out. I'll be sure to post a review once I get mine :)

PV is great, I don't see how you can put much blame on them besides the poor communication some people have had.

They have to wait for Pharmacor to ship them the INHs, they got a batch of 35 for the first pre-orders, and were told when the next ones would be in. Pharmacor found flaws in the units and probably told PV they were making modifications so the order would be pushed back.

It seems Pharmacor has an odd business model. Walk-ins seem to get priority service over companies with big orders.

Pharm is a few person operation so that can be the issue. It is easy for to go in and pick up one or two units. Personally I am waiting for Taylor although kush has given you all great service so far but I am inclined to keep things on my side of the boarder with someone who will also do my warranty and I don't have to deal with sending stuff back to Canada.

Taylor rocks and treats us well on this side of the border. He didn't do pre-orders cause he didn't want to have the issues PV was having IMO. I respect that type of business person a lot. For all those that are waiting on this side and do not want to worry about warranty to Canada I would wairt for Taylor to get them in in case(I hope not) there are any other issues with the new one. If I was on the Canada side of the border at this point I would go to kush as well.

By the way welcome kush paradise to the forum. Enjoy the ride and the fun.

One of our members contacted Pharmacore and they said that yes the warranty would be fine. I forget who it was or when that happened but I remember it happening haha

I dont think we can blame PV for the delay, but we can fault them for poor communication. I preordered back in Dec. Then got an email in 1/3/13 saying it would ship on 1/16/13. Then nothing, the 16th went by with no communication at all, I tried to contact them but got no response because their system was down. It finally showed up at my door 2/20/13, without any word or tracking number from PV. I understand manufacturing delays happen, but if PV is going to take preorders then they should inform all of their preorder customers of any delays as soon as they know. The fact that the only communication I got was on 1/3/13 saying it would ship on 1/16/13 and then nothing until it showed up on 2/20/13 is not good customer service.

Now to get this thread back on track Pharmacore did specifically state that the guts of the XP are the same no matter what model you got, and that all units should function the same no matter what the exterior looks like. The original ones they shipped were the same size as the old units, but had 4 holes. There were some bad units due to bad soldering connections, but that has been corrected. I have one of these 4 hole units that I use daily and it still works great. They then revised it with a slightly shorter case and 2 intake holes. That is the latest version as of right now. I would think the only difference would be a bit of air flow increase from the 2 to 4 hole, but that is it. Pharmacore stated that they will continue to make revisions to the case, but that the XP guts (and functionality) will remain the same for all units. Hope this clears up some of the confusion brewing in here.

I also believe that there's a different switch on the newest model, hence the height difference.
And yes Pharmacore honors the warranty from Kush Land, I was the one who verified it and have a email from them.

.

Yeah the knob is totally different on the newer versions. The new version is much tighter fitting, and isn't near as easy to accidentally adjust. The knob appears to possibly be bolted on, therefore no possibility of the glue losing hold. It also looks like there might be easier access to the battery now? If I find some spare time soon, I'm interested in trying to take an XP apart to see what's up.

The knob on my 4 hole, full sized XP is very tight and I have had no problems with accidental adjustments. But it does appear to be glued on instead of screwed on.

That's good to hear as well. That knob on the original was probably my biggest gripe with the device. It was a pain to use the original with friends. Every single time it got passed back to me, I would have to turn it down from like 8 to 5...

But... I'm so far really liking the XP. It's a huge performance difference compared to the original model. The airflow provides for some pretty impressive hits. On the downside, the bowl does go quicker now, but that's to be expected with such an increase in vapor production. I've had to start using the device at four now instead of five, still considering trying even a bit lower. It's sent me into some surprisingly pleasant coughing fits for a portable.

One problem I have noticed though, is that the temperature knob decal needs to be redesigned. When you turn the device on, it clicks and there is essentially a small gap between where off and 1 should be. This was not taken into account on the decal, so it appears to skip 1. This makes me curious if I'm actually on 3, when I think I'm at a 4 temp setting. Not a super serious problem, but it does need to be addressed.

Sweet!
Got that exact black one and now you're making want the white one too!

Ahhhh it looks like they fixed that decal issue I just mentioned like two seconds ago, good deal. You can tell on this picture that there is a larger gap between off and 1, this should correct the issue I just mentioned.

Edit: meant to quote the post with the pictures by Kushland, whoops.
