Discontinued Inhalater XP

Hey guys, I just received mine today but there's a problem : it doesn't work. I fully charged it and all it does when I select a temperature is the light blinking a few times and no heat whatsoever. I tried it a dozen times and no results, even when plugged in. There's not even the slghtest heat, even on the highest setting...
Anyone else having the same issue?

I really cant believe you had that many problems.. did u take pics of it or anything? I can crush my capsule and itll pop back together..

And this seems like an issue with your inh004.. this is the xp thread bra, deuces

Did you use any attachment on that? I have the GonG from PV but it's tilted so I can't just stick the vape right on it.

Nope it jst sits on my bong perfectly and even feels like a tight seal..18mm i believe..works on my 14mm bubbler also.

And that gif was the very first hit on a fresh capsule.. it gets even thicker if you inhale slower.

mine came in and worked pretty well, after 3 days tho it started not working...when i turned it on it started flashign 3 times steadily then turned off...now it doesnt even turn on...the manufacturer said its electronics problem and asked me for a shipping adress for a replacement unit...i sent it to him ,unfortuantely he hasnt got back to me yet...I hope the replacement unit wont be a wait like for the first(defective) unit.

Mine did the same thing to me yesterday. Used it once earlier in the day, worked great. Tried it again later on and the heat light doesn't even come on. Unit was fully charged before the first use. Tried hooking it up to charger and it did not help. Waiting to hear back about what to do from here. I'm assuming I will have to ship it back, but I am really concerned about sending a used unit through customs. Not sure what to do here.

Figures, I just ordered the plastic bubblers and smooth flow ceramic water conditioner. Oh we'll hopefully ill be back up and running soon.

Im sad to here people are having trouble with some units hopefully the new shipment wont have this problem because i plan on ordering one next week. as long as inhalater takes good care of people with issues its all good i hope everyones issues gets taken care of promptly. good luck

Yeah same here. I feel like calling the company next week and making sure all the bugs have been figured out before I order one.

If you do call i would be curious to know the answer. im sure they will say all the bugs are fixed. i know i want the xp i just want to make sure inhalater is good with warranty repair. i know some people have already got defective units replaced so im sure anyone with issues can get a new unit im just not sure if it always takes a long time or if they are just backed up.

exactly i think we are all in the same boat. though it does seem that this issue is few and far between.

I'm wondering what exactly went wrong with these dead inh's, I think it's basically like the Pax electronically:
-Battery charging circuit
-Heater with electronic switch (transistor)
-Temp control to turn on and off the heater

What I find interesting is that the Inh stops heating first and then stops charging? Is that right?

You would think a blown component would only affect a single part of the device, whatever is going on, it must be something that can affect all parts of the Inh circuitry... maybe a faulty charging circuit let the battery drain without looking like it? A dead battery would certainly make it look like the whole device is dead.

I think mine is still charging. The charging light will come when plugged in and automatically shut off when fully charged. Although without being able to heat it I cannot truly tell if it is actually charging.

I have been having the same problem. Worked for a while , then stopped heating up . No light comes on now though unless its plugged in .

Also gave inhalater my shipping address , just as Edward hyde did . Been waiting a week : P havent gotten back to me either .

I can't imagine it does since it peels off on its own. The corners of mine were peeling when I opened the box.

Does yours have two holes or four? If it has two then maybe only four holed units are a problem. Otherwise maybe you just got lucky.

Mine has 4 holes and the cap for it is flat instead of round.

That is exactly why I had asked ru if it was worth doing my warranty change...what do you think sonic. I certainly have a well working unit with a glitch that I work around. I don't want to deal with sending stuff back to Canada and customs and all that non-sense. I was doing my exchange through Taylor when he got them in but with the failures I am suspect. This is the IMPROVED WORKED OUT THE BUG MODEL or so they said.
