Sorry to hear about that @VapeNStone. On the bright side, I don't think you will have too much trouble selling the inhalater. I've shown mine off to a few friends and they are already looking into getting one I guess its all about personal preference. I just love the small size and portability. Lotus is great too though!

Yea my review is off of the loosely packed capsule. I don't really want to pack the shit out of the capsule because yea I get big banging hits but the taste is shit after only a few hits. And usually when I pack the capsule I'm able to get quite a few sessions out of my shit, so that means I get good flavor for a few hits then I turn it off and have a whole nother session that has garbage flavor. Yea I get high but it tastes nasty. I'm really disappointed in this vape now because this is NOT what I ordered. The original INH004 was way better than this and so was my last XP. I think they turned it down to much or moved the sensor to much? Also a little disappointed that they sent me just the Inhalater itself and no extra capsules, not even a box. Anyways I'll be putting this up for sale as a pretty much brand new unit.

Thanks for confirming how I felt about the Q3 units, people weren't trying to believe me and trying to make me accept a lower product than I first received.

Still a good vape but its certainly not the best or what it once was.. Those thick and smooth hits we got on the first units were incredible(@lower temps), but now long gone, the new users here just don't/won't understand. That said you should still play with it for a little and see if you come to like it and accept it for what it is?? Packing the shit out the capsule is the only way I get the results I desire, I agree with you there..

I fill it up and pack it with the end of a stir tool, when my AVB comes out its sometimes clumped/stuck together in a "log".

I can only think that one person's "thick cloud" is not enough for another.

Once again, atmosphere makes a difference. I get my biggest clouds outside in -15c and the unit is not even on or loaded .

Until we can quantify cloud density I fear it's exactly the same as how blue is blue. There's just no way to compare in words. If we were vaping from the same unit, I'm sure we'd have different perceptions and descriptions even then.

Then again, cloud appearance is a non issue for me as I only care about extraction and how medicated I get, and am very pleased on that front.

So I still ran a ABV capsule at like 5 or maybe 6 just sucking in and blowing out into the unit to flush it some, but I tasted no bad taste or electrical taste(I have in the past). So I packed it up and gave it a go. I could taste it some but I wasn't getting much vapor at 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or even 6(I guess a little) until I turned it up to 7 and 8(highest setting on the dial) did I start to really see some vapor but it was weak in comparison. It is too much airflow IMHO. Then capsule needs to be PACKED to get it to make a crapton of vapor really. I got nice and medicated off that bowl so it for sure works but for what I'm looking for I need to basically have it full blast all the time which I'm sure won't be good. Plus the ABV didn't look that dark to me, what if I wanted to put some bubble hash or something in there? Would it even get hot enough for that? My solo gets great hits still after a few years now with no problems and I have a lotus on the way. Oh and it seems the sticker is just the colored piece now, it doesn't go all the way around anymore(at least I can't tell) and they don't have the stickers in the ribs anymore.

I've never understood the airflow complaint... Just don't breath in so hard and boom less airflow.

Exactly. Better to have more flow than less, so this is a good thing. Not many other vapes have such great flow.
When I draw fast, vapor is less dense so this might be part of the differences amongst our perceptions.

Also, Still waiting for suggestions on a better portable (for my purposes).

Seems like the first hit out of the Vape is always a little stale tasting. After that it seems to be perfect. Anyone know what may be causing this?

Does the LED charging light turn off to indicate that it is fully charged? Do other microUSB chargers work, or is it better to stick with the included one?

Conduction is very strong with the XP and imo the major way it extracts vapor so whenever you are not drawing, vapor is formed from the heated herbs and is accumulated in the chamber waiting for you to suck them in... Well, it gets stale until you do...

It does turn off when it's charged, yes, and most microUSB chargers will do fine although a 1mA one is preferable, just like the iPhone knock-off that os included in the package.

Stickers look different. A full wrap around with stickers in the ribs and on the lid. No adults only either. Should still be the current model.

What serial #'s are these new units you are all getting? (See bottom).

This is one portable that does hold up to desktops.

I'm still eagerly awaiting more reviews because I believe this will be my next vape. time will tell. Cant wait for more folks to get the unit in-hand so they can convince me to buy!

If you're going to buy it be aware you're probably not going to have it in your hands alot/most of the time. I waited 5 weeks for mine and then it pooped out in less than a week due, annd it's onto the 7th week of waiting for the replacement shipment. However it makes up for it because of the amazing quality of this vaporizer, I just wish this part wasn't so frustrating and long for $260, I would take a refund and buy a different vaporizer without thinking twice. I had an mflb for a piece before this, it got confiscated and I haven't had a choice but to smoke since then and it's really taking its toll, I just want a damn vaporizer >_<

Thank you for your honest and truthful review....it has further heightened my fear that my replacements if I in fact ever get them....{Yep still waiting for me too}... will not be the "beast" my Q2 was......

Not sure what the obsession with vapor clouds is. I guess its fun to see them, but it has no indication of vapor production. Sure more may come out in that single hit, but that doesn't mean its weaker, it just means there's also more air intake so the hits are smoother and cooler.

I do enjoy milking a bong at 7 every once in a while, but most of the time I prefer the taste, and easy hits of a 4-5. 6 is good as well if you want to see a bit more "clouds."

I get it some may like clouds, (it is satisfying to see for sure!), but in the end I think its more of a visual appeal than anything.

Dude you are a bit interesting to me....but I love a challenge so I'm gonna give it a try but I do need you to use your imagination and most of ...believe it is possible..... so here we go...
Imagine that your received your 1st XP months earlier and it gave you plums of rich smooth tasting vapor at #3.....you in fact would often have to turn it down a notch to #2 because #3 was just a little bit tickling to were you might cough....{nice...right} but the best part you noticed was the effect rivaled that of....wait NOT true....better kicked the ass off of smoking....hard to describe in few words but I'd say it felt cleaner more pure....happy to say goodbye to the smoke....hell yea....
So now you fall in love with it and the idea of never again smoking until just short of 6 weeks you send the dreaded email and then you wait another 6 weeks but the replacement unit just doesn't hold a candle to the rich smooth vapor production of the unit you 1st received.....no worries just simply report what you are experiencing as something must have been changed in this new batch....
But THEN....you get the response email that you hadn't considered...."Nothing has been changed" we think it is better than the one you 1st received.....later email - well the max temp was lowered.....later email {after my persistence} - well the temp sensor was relocated....
So whats the BIG deal about the vapor production.....well in simple common sense terms.....side by side device "A" is able to extract rich thick plums of vapor that medicate IMO better than smoking verses device "B" is able to produce thinner wispy {who needs clouds anyway} that medicate but leave you IMO wanting more.....now I need to go burn one.....or run over to GF's house to use her device "A"

So if you can imagine all of that.....you will begin to understand what the obsession is all about...
and dude the worst part of this entire story is....... they don't believe me..... even though I had a replacement side by side next to our 1st XP "The BEAST Q2"......so I don't see much hope of ever seeing the issue ever successfully being identified and or resolved.....

That is the older Q2 sticker....... looks just like mine but mine was black.....the adult only stickers are the latest greatest but they don't look to be well received by this forum so far.....I personally preferred the look you got over these newer ones IMO....

Ok. I have had this unit a couple of weeks now and have probably run an ounce through it. My s/n is over 1300.

Details:
I got the black unit and the inh logo doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. The warning label on the other hand is unacceptable to me. The sticker doesn't seem that high quality as it overlaps itself as opposed to having a nice seam - allowing for quicker peeling.

The usb port is fine visually, but is an extremely tight fit for the adaptor, which seems as if it might cause undue stress on the port.

When considering the overall length of the unit, you can't just look at the unit itself as it is virtually unusable w/o one of the included, hand hacked lengths of surgical tubing due to the heat of the draw. It sure doesn't add to the stealth of the unit to have 3" of tubing coming out of the top.

My first capsule started unraveling (w/ normal use) after 5 days. My 2nd capsule is just starting to slightly unravel at the top. These are neither priced nor available enough to be this disposable. Like the sticker, this tube overlaps itself as opposed to having a sturdier seam. Is this because the poly has no melting point and can't be 'crimped'? How was it attached before it started unraveling? Adhesive? I imagined that the material would be thicker than it is also, but it is super thin.

Operation:
Any setting below 5 is unfulfilling to me - way too much air to vapor ratio. At 5, I get flavorful (invisible to wispy vape) hits. Unfortunately, I only get about 4 of these before it starts dwindling and I need to increase the temp. Sometimes I'll finish off a load as high as 7, sometimes I'll just recycle it due to poor taste at those temps. At 8, you might as well be taking knife hits.

Contrary to previous reviews & videos, anything but the lightest of draws renders the unit inefficient. It is pretty obvious using this device that there is little if any convection going on - and the conduction that is happening seems slow. You have to pause between hits to allow the oven to reheat if you want a decent pull. This triples the time needed to medicate.

The one place this vape excels is with kief. Several times I have thrown a few flower grunyons in the bottom of the capsule, filled it mostly w/ kief, then topped w/ a few more grunyons. Hits forever.

I am able to place my h20 adptor for my oil pen snugly on the length of tubing to marry the unit w/ my pinnacle wt. Larger hits, but my lungs can only tolerate so much of this.

I guess my overall opinion is that if it was a $150 unit, it would be decent. I'll probably use it until I have an opportunity to get something else then sell it for cheap. No way I could ask someone to pay what I did for it.

Seriously considering attaching a handheld plenty to 2 6v lantern batteries, duck taped together w/ a dc adapter and working out of a damned backpack.

I think my unit might be dying... I've had a perfect unit since I got it many months ago. Unfortunately now half the time I turn it on it doesn't do anything. I have to go back to primitive methods of (lightly) banging it against my hand to get it to work. Also I hold it straight up and down and then bring the bottom down on my hand for it to work. I think like the battery or something is pulling away and that pushes all the parts back into place.

ok i used to have a big disapointment from my xp.i though i wasnt able to vape small quantities...i am pretty sure everyone has tried loading 0.1g and found out that almost half of it was yellow to green...also if u overload the capsule u can find the very back end of your load also not so well cooked...the heating core of the inhalater is not as big as the capsule is and these two are the results...i recentrly pushed my capsule screen a bit inside...everyone i think has noticed the capsules become black with a space at the begining.so i pushed my screen at that point and now not matter how much weed i put inside i get awesome taste+clouds...

Q4 will include the molded body. Will be shorter in storage with cap on. Cap can be affixed to temperature knob to keep it from getting lost. Cap on knob will also make it easyer for users who have less mobility by giving a better grab.

This unit will have a click type dial and mechanical lock to help in preventing damage to electronic component. Heating chamber will be reconfigured to completely to eliminate problems related to heating chamber lead breakage. Heating chamber will also be optimised for even better heat distribution.
