Ok, thanks. I'm itching to pull the trigger on buying either this or the Pinnacle Pro. I'm interested in the reviews of the Inhalater 05 once they ship.

I'd agree that this is better than the Pinnacle Pro. In fact, I'd go as far to say that this units predecessor is already the one of the best portable vapes currently on the market (for reasons we all already know). The only real cons for the Inhalater XP are: it's build quality (units have stopped working), it's one year warranty, and customer service.

With the INH05 we will no longer have build quality issues and the warranty is extended to two years. Several other extra features are in there as well, like glass capsules for better taste.

Contrasting what @namasteIII said, the only real complaint about this company about its customer service. The company was very slow when dealing with the majority of warranty issues and they are difficult to maintain contact with. (Apparently it could be worse, but the XP thread was filled with a lot of unsatisfied customers when the repair process was not going well.)

Hopefully the customer service will be better with the INH05, but we will see. I just shipped my unit off for a warranty repair and upgrade to INH05, so I'll let everyone know how the customer service is this time around.

they were some serious cons though. my time with the XP was brief. functionally it was superb but thge build quality was a joke very worrying. on top of that the thread was a drama nightmare by that point.

if pharmacor has stepped up their game from the xp days i'm more than willing to come back oif the 05 fixes all the problems and the cs is better?

EXACTLY what exit said ^^^^ I couldn't even give them the chance after my 004 experience, I think it may have worked for 2 days...it basically just fell apart build wise and it turning on was a 50/50 chance.

As for customer service, I have a feeling namasteiii hasnt read all the threads.

VXL made it up and stepped up the customer service game, I don't see why Pharmacor can't, and IMO they are kinda in the same boat as VXL. They WILL make it work right this time - they don't have a choice.

I've been holding off buying a Solo for my portable needs because of this vape, so I hope i'm pleasantly surprised. IMHO, the Solo is the main competitor here.

My experience is completly different but I never needed to their CS, my unit is working perfectly since the first day I got it, at least 700 bowls loaded and 1400 sessions (2 sessions per bowl), maybe it's not the better taste (but far better than a true conduction vape) or the bigger clouds (it satisfies me enough) but fonctionnaly there is not another vape like it.

Although I never need their CS, I heard it's not a good CS....I contacted them 2 times and I always got a answer, not a fast answer but I never got to wait more than 2 weeks.

Lot of peoples expect a CS of the same quality they got when they buy a computer (ie), but lot of manufacturers are very small companies and they can't provide a high quality(in term of time) CS, because they got family, because they got holidays, because they haven't got enough funds to pay somebody to do it....MiniVap, VenusVape, firewood, ...there is alot of small companies, some with a good CS, some with a bad CS but please don't judge a company about its CS but about its products!

if you look at it all together, then I agree...CS is important and could be improved, and drags the overall grade down.

But when I assess each criteria separately, I personally feel:

CS = needs improvement (and has been).

Reliability - needs improvement (and has been).

Product performance = best in class.
In searching for over a year now, I cannot find a better portable comparable to the xp with its features and efficient medicating capability. I had a bad one or two, and the performance was not good (not at all actually), but when they work, their performance is unmatched imo.

awesome! i've been combusting many months now since my XP kicked (usb port). I didn't realize how much I prefer vaping to combuting until I started combusting again. The taste sucks, makes my breath stink, makes the house smell, no stealth, inconvenient, and wasteful. I CANNOT WAIT for my 05. So stoked...

My latest XP has been very reliable, so they did step it up in that department. I have to admit I have dropped the XP a few times and the knob flew off.. but the way they made the knob now its easy to just stick it back on and have no worries.. Still working great.

They are improving as far as reliability goes, reason why I would not hesitate to get the 05 because you can see their products are getting better as time goes on. Yes the performance is still unmatched, the reason why I only own an XP and a back up vape(ascent which gets used maybe twice a month).

AWESOME news.... I had asked you in the past how much actual air time you gave your Ascent..... so it is the XP that rules your roost...... Nice....
I'm curious as you have stated in the past the taste was better with the Ascent than with the XP...so what it is that makes you reach for the XP most of the time..? Extraction performance..? Efficiency maybe your herb seem to go further..?
I struggled with the decision for a back up vape for a long time before finally just getting a 2nd & 3rd XP & INH05.....
Listen if you were to go out and try one of these glass tubes...... I would love to hear your opinion on it's flavor compared to the Ascent's..... it is such an improvement....its hard to believe......and the load size is curved just a bit....which I felt was another huge plus.....:peace:

I also like the idea of the glass caps (for vaping and sitting around at home.).
The few inches in length is a turn off to me also (I know it is needed for cooling the glass)
The short mouthpiece/vaporpath/ as well as the unbreakable nature of Inhalater's stem is what makes me love it so much as a portable.
The glass stem will likely be used for flavor and purity around the house.

Edit;
I am getting excited about the 05 also

Couldn't have said it any better.

For those wondering about Customer Service improvements, I am currently undergoing the warranty process now. Here is an outline of my experience so far:

1. I contacted admin@inhalater.com and got a reply the following day from Fred.
2. Several messages were exchanged back and forth, very promptly. Fred was a great guy and very helpful. I was informed I would be invoiced shortly and to go ahead to ship back my XP.
3. About 3 days later, I sent an email saying my device would be there in roughly 1 week. No response.
5. A week later, tracking showed that my device was received. I sent an email asking if my device was recieved and if I would be invoiced soon. No response.
6. A week later, I called their number directly and got an immediate answer. Greg picked up and gave me a straight forward answer and told me my order was on file and I can rest assured my device is with them. He was very friendly and helpful and told me I would be invoiced tomorrow (7/1).

Greg also gave me an update saying that they completed an INH05 today and that they should be ready to ship a bunch out within 2 weeks time.

TLDR:
Recent Customer Service has been very nice and helpful, when you get a hold of them. A persistent customer should have no issues. But make sure to follow up.
(6/30 update from Greg) - INH05's should ship out in about 2 weeks (putting it around the 14th)

Happy Canada day :-), coming 4th of july and other summer holidays for the ones in the northern hemisphere!

Tested first unit of first production batch. New unit is Great! Taste is awesome, build flawless and new Air capsule is a fantastic addition. 05 kicks XP out of the water! Not to say the XP in not a great unit.

Unit will be on sale over internet gradually over the course of august and september, on our website by the end of next week. Please check our website for the links to European distributors, they will have stock early august at the latest.

Genuine Inhalater glass capsules are 2.2in tall: 3/8in longer than the polyimide ones

Our customer service will gradually rise to perfection as the business changes scales from entrepreneurial style to established company. We have never flawed from our dedication to customers, clients and friends: entrepreneurial challenges are sometimes mind boggling.

Color styles to be posted by the end of the week.

When the ascent is clean it does have the better taste. But I always choose the XP because:

-XP is easier to load, I have to use a glass bead with the ascent to fill up that massive bowl or the herb comes flying up
-XP much more portable/lighter and durable in terms of taking falls.
-Extraction is much better, sometimes it feels like my session ends too quick with the Ascent, you really have to pack a whole bunch for the best experience out of the Ascent..

The ascent is still great to have, I haven't had 1 issue with it.. I havent had to make any returns or get replacements.. Working perfectly since day 1.

I haven't really looked into the glass tubes, maybe Ill check out my local HS like you guys have been doing.
