I almost exclusively get indica strains to treat temporal lobe epilepsy. CBD seems to stop the seizures in their tracks, and THC helps deal with the side effects of the Keppra I'm prescribed. I've tried using exclusively CBD rich bud, but administering the correct dose (enough for long term relief, but not too much that I'm lethargic) is a bit difficult.

My personal favourite strains I've tried are 8 Ball Kush, Tahoe OG, Ghost Kush, and Northern Lights. I think I like the balanced THC/CBD levels that you get from high THC indicas. Low THC indicas feel a bit too stoney to me, and pure sativas feel a bit racey. I should experiment more with mixing high THC sativa with high CBD indica, but every time I meet my caregiver I end up just picking indica/hybrid strains I know I like. Right now I'm loving the headband I have, which definitely feels high in CBD for a hybrid. Guess I gotta do some experimenting soon.

Don't vaporizers usually give a more sativa like high though, because of the lower temps and less cannabinoids being released?

Don't answer my question with a question :p

But in all seriousness, vaporizers tend to produce more sativa like effects than indica like effects, right?

Not in my experience. I get sativa effects from sativas and indica effects from indicas.

This has been my experience as well for the most part.... A sativa produces a sativa high regardless of temperature. While an indica produces an indica effect at low temps, I usually notice more sedation, relaxation and general couch lock with indicas at higher temperatures though YMMV.....

Indicas turn into sativas only when the THC content is increased by 200%.

Everyone knows that.

That requires vaping with fire...

Uh.... Let's not go there, guys.

Wow, I picked up an eighth of some awesome Grand Daddy Purple for only $30. One of the best deals I've ever come across. These flowers are absolutely on point. I love this strain and this batch is a perfect illustration.

GDP usually doesn't completely knock me out, but the effects are so serene. Not a hint of raciness or paranoia for me tonight. A very relaxing body stone that helps ease my mind and promote self expression. I place this right up there with Bubba Kush for my favorite strains.

I picked up a bit of Purple Bubba on Monday, not a whole lot going on in the head but it's been helping mitigate some pain and letting me sleep a bit  Feels like Bubba but it's got that purpy terpy to it

I come from a non-legal area, and I hadn't ever really considered the difference between sativa and indica. Yesterday I got something that was different from the usual. Smell, taste appearance, and most importantly the effect. I realized this wasn't the first time, but I just hadn't experienced it again since. Just sad that I'm not able to get this on demand, just sort of have to get lucky with the connect I have in the moment. Can't wait till it's legal. Makes such a difference as I have issues with anxiety and chronic pain, which were both exasperated by the supplies i've gotten the past year or so. I love the sativa high as it really is like speed with my brain chemistry, but I realize it's not as good as the overall benefit from this indica strain.

@MuushuPork I can't wait until it's legal either.

I want everyone to be able to try mixing Indica flowers with CBD only flowers. Yes, those strains exist. The one I have is 12% CBD 0.5% THC. I like using it in salads with regular high THC Indica strains. Really good for anxiety, pain and sleep.
Yeah that sounds amazing.

Two Indicas that I just got this week that are phenomenal is Chocolate Chunk and The Frost. Really helping with the arthritis pain. The frost has a real pine taste almost a cooling feel to it. They both have exceptional vapor taste.

A couple strains that I recall being great for pain management was:
Skywalker OG
Girl Scout Cookies
Tahoe OG
This one delivery service I've been using more and more has kept a strain on their perm rotation called Ken's GDP which is amazing.

Here is a picture of the herb called The Frost. I looked and
On Leafly it only named something called Jack Frost which is
An Indica dominate Hyrid a combination of Jack Herrer
White Widow and Northern Lights. On the label this is called
The Frost and it's an Indica dominate Hybrid. I assume one in
The same, but I don't know for a fact. It has a pine, cool vapor
Very smooth also an earthy taste.

WTF? I'm getting flashbacks of another thread.

Is it that Indica stuff? Or did that Sativa turn into Indica?:):leaf:

That is my new favorite picture.

And I heard on Weed Country that marijuana is only illegal as a sativa and not as an indica, so if a dispensary is raided with only indica then every time it was an illegal raid is that correct?

I've never heard of that. Cannabis is cannabis if it's considered illegal. The Feds consider all illegal at this point.

JH, WW, and NL are some of my all time favorite strains. They are all in my list of top 5 classics for sure. This cross sounds amazing.

In the US and every other country that I know of, MJ is MJ. And if it's illegal, it's all illegal.
