Couldn't agree more with
@wolfJflywheel and others above. This thing has it's issues, but think it is great for what it is for the price. Used it out and about a good bit this weekend.
One thing I noticed to watch out for. When you turn it on and it is heating, it will start to smell. Not robot farts (once burn off is done), but of roasting herbs! Wasn't a big problem out in open air, but even heating on green gave a good bit of smell in the car, blue even more. It does roast well and goes through a load pretty quick. But don't forget with the oven it is roasting whether you're taking vapor or not, so stinking a bit and wasting vapor if you're not on it. Didn't have nerve to use it in the bar, tho I saw a few people with ecigs. I have used vape oil pens in similar situations, but with those you only have to worry about smell on exhale and don't think that smell is as incriminating.
It does use a good bit of material compared to my other current primary vapes (nano and VapMan), and maybe a little more than the solo. Still.... if stepping out of the bar for a quick top off, or out on the golf course (only chip & putt for me today, but imag+ was perfect!), and many other similar situations this is a good affordable piece. Today we were vaping every couple holes with families around (some as close as 10 yards) and didn't even get a raised eyebrow. My golf partner uses an e-cig, so we just acted like we had two! Easy to hide in plain sight with just a little breeze blowing.
If you're going to be reloading while you're out, be sure to bring at least the brush, stir/tamp tool and an easy way to load. I use these little 1/2 dram sized brown bottles and they were fine to line up and tap for easy loading. If you tamp down pretty firm the load seems to roast more evenly and will give more hits. Plus, you can fit a bunch in there so don't have to reload as often. When doing a dump and reload out and about, seems easier to do outside somewhere like sitting at a bench or something - but a pain in the ass in the car because of spillage and crumbs unless you have a work surface. It's not usually as easy as just stir and dump (like a solo or VapMan) because of depth of oven and stickiness due to oven roasting. Need the brush and a few tap outs to get it empty.
Still having a little trouble with load sticking to screen on bottom of mouthpiece and blocking airflow in use. After every heating cycle when it kicks off (usually a couple hits for two people), I open MP a little and just knock the blockage back into the oven chamber. Perfect? Not really, but not too difficult.
Needless to say, flavor drops off considerably after first 2 hits - but vapor production goes for many more and is still effective. Surprisingly effective!
