Just got done reading the whole thread.
I was sold soon as I seen those mouth pieces from Ed.(beautifully done) I could really care less about waiting for a ceramic bowl if the unit works as well as you guys say and the MP was the only real problem with then I'd be plenty happy with the imag +

But I am some what confused cause on there site..

it says "NEW mouth piece and heating camber" in a fancy clickable icon, so does that mean there out now for sale?
Unless I missed someone I didn't see anyone on here review a new mouth piece/ceramic bowl unit yet.
I'm bout to shoot w9 an email and see if the verisons they have have are anything new.

This thing looks sweet for 89 bucks imma have to grab one just to try it. I got a haze on the way too that I haven't even tried yet lol. I gotta stop spending all my extra cash on vapes lol

I wonder if theres a way to take it apart and make a frankin-vape.... It was a good vape while it lasted. I wonder what the actual cause for the malfunction is.

My imag plus just died.

I try to turn it on and the blue light comes on for a split second then turns off. When I plug it in to USB the imag charge light is green....

Any fixes for this issue?

the second one i bought for a friend did that two weeks ago too. i do not know of any fix but if you ever do, i hope you will share

So I managed to dismantle my IP.

The battery is encases in a silver lining thing.. It even covers the ends. I'm guessing this has something to do with the USB charging. All my wires were connected although I disconnected 3 to get the battery out.

The air path is somewhat in contact with wires, electronic ribbon? And a white silicone looking adhesive.. Some debris got into this area.

The heatee/bowl has some kind of heat matting around it...

Maybe the battery could be removed to rig a up a replaceable batter system without USB. The button did not do anything when I discovered it broken. But when plugged it the image logo goes green and the button light turned blue for a split second...


I probably will just end up tossing it.

Tried to remove my battery, ended up with rolled up paper and no "real" battery. Also horrible foul leaky liquid. Not recommended dismantling.

Explains why it's not replaceable.

You should have waited. There is an updated version with a better mouthpiece and ceramic heating chamber soon to be released. Also, the older units are prone to failure. Good luck!

Mine is still going strong. I use it daily as my main vape. Really hoping that it won't crap out on me. Gotta say that its not healthy for my habit, crazy how much more I consume, now that I can vape just about anywhere on the go.

About the new testers: Haven't heard anything from them, but haven't asked either. Figured that they would get to me when they're ready. I just don't like people saying "shipping in a few days", when its clearly not a realistic goal. They would be better off being honest, and saying, "it could be anywhere from a few days, to a few weeks, until we are ready to ship the new version"

Hey everyone, first time poster here but have been reading this thread for awhile. I know Imag makes products for other companies like Cloud Vapes, I think mCig is using Imag as its supplier too. It looks like the mCig 3.0 is the same or at least very similar as a Cloud Phantom. I bought a mCig burner pen awhile back, obviously not a true vape but I have gotten a lot use out of it. Anyways was looking for something cheapish that would hopefully actually vape so I ordered the mCig 3.0. Before I ordered it I had came across this thread researching affordable vape pens and then went to the Imag site and noticed the pictures looked pretty similar so I ordered the 3.0 thinking it might be made by them, now that I have my 3.0 I'm all but certain it is made by Imag.

From what I have read it seems like most people are happy with Imag products, I've only had my 3.0 a few days but so far I am very happy with it, I think for a portable unit I would consider it a true vape. I was wondering for one if you guys think they are the same, and also if anyone has an Imag or Cloud Phantom do you have any tips on loading? As far as how tightly you pack it or if you have any tips, it works pretty good but I can't say I'm getting "huge" vapor clouds. I'm guessing there might be another thread with that info, so if you could just post a link to it that would be much appreciated.

It was 82 bucks ill take my chances lol its a extra gift for my wife for xmas so she keeps her hands off my haze lol. if the new one works well when it comes out I'm sure I'll grab that too if its under 100.

For $82, that's a great deal! The current imag+ is awesome for that price! Only issue really is the mp. You can always get a replacement for $11 too (like I did). I think you'll enjoy it like most of us have!

This might be a dumb question because I haven't actually seen the imag plus in person yet but has anyone tryed using PNP bullets in there imag plus?
Or tryed using the oil capsule will herb?

I can see lot of unit are already dead, mine is still working but I don't use it a lot since I own several others portables, I think lot of reviews are a bit biaised, we don't push vapes on the limit, so reviews are honnest about taste, clouds and performances but not really tested about durability (I never use it all the day, 7/7 except maybe for one or two days...), sorry guys!
