I expected to get my incoming I-mag plus (3 t° settings!) but , as expected too, DHL don't like to go in the wild space, it was planned for last friday, monday and after today, maybe tomorrow (they told me I wasn't at home, I was), this carrier is the worst in my several experiences.

I've got some Pluses coming now as well, thanks to @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd 's review (as well as @mrweed and @wyatt herb 's endorsement of the first model). It is a shame they lost the replaceable batteries though on the plus...

I was thinking the same thing in the thread title. The rep from imag actually asked me if I could possibly get it changed. So they are watching. I told him it'd be a lot better for him if he were to make a manufacturer account here. We shall see if he shows.
Is the Imag and the Xmax the same product? Or is the Imag a newer version of the Xmax concept? Or was there a name change somewhere?
I'm not sure actually. I never was interested in it under any name than imag.

Yeah I'm not exactly sure where xmax originated, as Imag seemed to just call it 3in1 vaporizer, but it seems just Imag is catching on for the first generation. And the second is the Imag plus. So maybe Imag and Imag Plus makes sense? I don't know if they necessarily warrant separate threads since the technology is so similar I think?
Edit: actually just asked Imag if the original is still on the market and they said it is (and is called Imag Dry Herb Kit) but only in a few places like eBay, and that the Imag Plus is going to be their main product

Have you ever tried Inhalater products? If so, can you give a comparison between the two? I'm sure if the price is right, this may be a much better option than the new Inhalater 05.
I have always wanted to try an inh but alas I have not. I have kept a close eye on them though. The build quality of the imag far surpasses the xp atleast. Well... Imag knows how to cut a USB port in anyways. Lol. The bodies and just about every other piece are made of metal. It has a nice luxurious feeling to it in your hand. For the price it's an amazing unit. Hard to believe it's china born! Their form factor is very very similar. And at about 200$ less I've gotta say this is the smart choice.

The parallel with the FlowerMate evolution is interesting, both devices got upgraded to 3 temp settings, and both seem to be outstanding on many aspects. After having seen so many Chinese craps around, it's great that some companies finally got it right. Vaporization for the masses!
@VaPeD&CoNfUsEd : apparently on this one they used real metal and not (melting) plastic with a lousy sticker on top... I prefer that. Does the device gets hot after a few back to back sessions?
Meanwhile people keep drooling in the Grasshopper thread, but I'm wondering if it won't come too late and hit a market already saturated by cheap devices that do the job well enough. We're really close to a pen form factor on this one, and the 'hopper will maybe not be that much smaller...

I absolutely agree this may be the pen vape everyone's always looking for (and I haven't even gotten try it yet, who knows when mine will arrive), but it is important to note that the Grasshopper also claims pure convection and instant heat at any temp (plus the replaceable batteries that Imag unfortunately lost) so it may be too soon to declare it obsolete just yet... But obviously it has to actually be finished first lol, though they do seem quite close finally
Grasshopper will still have it's market. It'll be much more pen sized. And convection. The imag does have great form factor but it's still not quite pen sized. No it doesn't get too hot after a few b2b sessions, warm but, not hot.

It's amazing how this device just creeped out of no where. i may purchase this because of the price. Can't believe this coming out of China. The only con i see about this device is that you cannot adjust the temperature. so it comes to hash, wax, budder, shatter, oils, will this device vape properly? i seen that youtube review video. looks promising.
