Mind you, I don't know who Alex Trebek is either (at least, not until just now, when I looked him up). I haven't even seen Jeopardy, apart from one or two shows of a short-lived Australian version some 20 years ago. We get a lot of US TV here, but not traditional game shows.

You know, over the last couple years that I've been on this forum, I've come to think of some of you as friends. It is such a good feeling to know that there are so many good people here on this forum; people that will help someone they've never met.

I think it's partly because we are united in mj. But I also think that it's because the majority of the members here are just good people. And it makes me feel so damn good to be a part of this forum.

Uuh, that totally depends on where in Europe you are - there are vast differences between countries. I'd take a sentence in Scandinavia over one in the US any day of the week. Bulgaria though? Maybe not.

Television, your own room, steak for diner. I've only spend a few nights in one when I was younger, but it was quit comfy. The long legged blond jailer that provided me with free cigarettes whenever I pushed a button in my cel also helped passing the time rather quickly I must say, but those aren't standard issue or so I've heard.

Most of the foreign jails are like Ritz hotel compared to what we have here !
Ill food, no light , plagued with various infections and deceases.. I wouldn't wish that to the meanest convict on the planet.. Also have in mind that drug users go together with rapist,smugglers and thieves around here..

Did what I could Abysmal, every little bit helps. I know from my own time spent, it was not nearly as bad as what you all have there, and sure as hell wasn't fun! I dont wish those conditions on anyone. Its easy to forget that there are still places that are just as barbaric and havent changed much in 1000's of years and not all places are as civil as what alot of us live in and have maybe even had to experience.

I heard from a friend(well, maybe more acquintance) that it's mostly comfy if you have a longer sentence, since then you can get priviliges like a tv, but that shorter sentences are less comfy.

There is no date yet cause my conviction is in development phase (psycho evaluation,physical exam are passed, meeting with the prosecutor is in the week coming ,short after that conviction should be formed and it will be cleared out on which article am i going to be convicted so i can get some verdict/penalty borders. There is a 40 % chance that things will go badly for such "big"amount and about 20 % chance to end with Big penalty + mid long trial + mid range penalty . and 30 % chance that it goes "better"with big penalty + short trial (which can be neglected if i appeal that i regret for my actions and the judge loves pot heads.. .
I will post up any step of the progress . Anyway things seldom goes like on papers around here. but my conviction should be up in 10 working days since Friday,(now we got 4 non working days till Tuesday .. and another weekend in that period.)
I checked how long it stays in your file if you get a verdict/penalty. The period of auto-reabilitation is 10 years but you can appeal in court after 5 years if you have no other convictions in that period . (Long long time.. IMO )
Anyway it stays forever in their inner system as a flag.. to your ID number.. You get one for possesion and one for conviction .. that shows up on any ID check and they will have the right to raise suspicions and hold you for 24 H even easier than how it is if you are not a marked man...

In a way it's good that there is some time involved so that we can drum up a little more cash for the cause. Do you feel that the majority of the money you will need will be for your lawyer and penalties? Or is the judge going to need to be paid off too?

I cannot comment on the lawyer-prosecutor-judge sin circle and bribe system sry ,and i don't wanna know about it honestly. I am just interested in how to get less damage out of this so i can get on my feet. I am in chains of the system now and i for sure will be fucked up for a good bit.
There is a chance that another month or two before exact penalties are stated but i hope to get some inside info on which way( type) it will goes soon enough.. .
I think i will get enough time to raise the money for the lawyer.. and then i will concentrate on the penalty.
Thankfully many people jumped in here to help !!! Dave and Andy have ongoing fund raise to my cause + Rick will be helping out soon too ! THC SCIENTIFIC and Gentleman's have also contacted me and offer to help. (soon to be cleared out when and how )

Europe isn't so bad- there are decrepit and overcrowded prisons compared to the USA, esp. in Bulgaria, but overall I would consider the place and its penal system more far more civilised than the needlessly over zealous USA. I do think 'civil' is a case of perspective though as I see execution as a completely barbaric - more so than the worst Bulgarian incarceration. It's even true that states are not allowed to join the EU unless they abolish the death penalty. It's a shame though that the European prison rules are non-binding, or it would improve the bulgarian situation, along with many others.

So I have an idea... being a lampworker I end up making a few spoons and other smoking implements on the side... I don't bother going to smoke shops to sell them as smoking implements are not my primary good, just a good warm-up for the day, and fun practice for colors and techniques. All the same, I'm building up a decent collection of spoons, with no home for them and no real use to me, but for those of you who don't say fuck combustion entirely, maybe I will have found a way to clear out the ol' glass drawer:

Abys, I'm so sorry for what you have been put through....this is so unfair, things like these shouldn't even be conceivable...an honest and unharmful man, a good person treated like that, for nothing...seriously these things contribute a lot in losing my faith towards humanity...
