I've been combustion free for 3 years and I've never looked back. I hit a blunt a few times the other day and really regretted it. My chest hurt and I felt pretty shitty afterwards. I can't believe I did that for almost 10 yrs. Who's idea was it anyways to wrap high quality flowers in gutter quality tobacco leaf?!
I LOVE VAPE!

The power was out for a few hours this evening, and I took a bongload for the first time in months. Totally cleaned bong for vaping with a brand new glass bowl and perfectly cured and ground flowers.

Hated it. Besides the fact that it tasted like crap, it made me feel like crap as well. Never again!

I vape and smoke all the damn time, I love 'em both as different situations call for different things haha, if I'm partying I can kill huge bong loads, joints, blunts and alone as well for a really stoney high haha. Hemp wick and good pieces etc makes combustion worthwhile in my medicative arsenal. And top shelf meds.

Must admit I have been using the vape every time possible not only to conserve, but for the more functional, intensely mind based high and good taste with any type of weed. Feels like I'm getting just what I "need" out of it. Also makes me more likely to make good food lol. If I still wanna get wrecked smoking will always be an option personally. Hitting just "greens" is a good way to chief on it and not feel too heavy on the chest or deal with bad taste :ninja:

The amazing thing is that I've put so much investment into getting a good vape portable and plugged and yet I still combust. As my collection becomes more fit for my needs I will be better able to avoid it entirely. I've just been laden with losses, temptation, breaks and bad buys. I also travel a lot more than most and don't move my gear if it's got resin on it. Personally speaking the high from combustion is worse, the couch look is much worse, my eyes go blood shot, my lungs tend to get irritated, it has made me croak in extenuating circumstances and has given me a nasty throat infection once. It has also gotten me fined and almost got me kicked out of school and referred to rehab due to the smell. In my freshman year I stayed in a overpriced strict catholic residence and that alone had some of these kids not interested in having any association with me. Yes smoke hasn't done much good for me of any kind but vaporizers have. The properties of smoke are inherently harmful and easy to detect. Where I'm at right now there is no good product but it's all virtually free. I did not bring my things with me as I did not anticipate wanting to blaze but the work is hard and the people are always DTB.

Yes, yes I do!

It may yet still arrive, but when the power went out again today I tried out a Vapocane B in my bong with a small butane torch and I must say that was a much better experience!

Stopped smoking herb the day I got my SSV, carried on burning fullmelt for the first week until even that started tasting smokey and harsh. Now I attempt to avoid smoke inhalation as best I can, can't see myself going back..

I stopped smoking for about three weeks a while back when I got my Zephyr. Eventually friends packed bowls and I wasn't about to pass up free herbs. Tasted terrible and I didn't get near as high. But then I started smoking more and the more I smoked the better it started tasting again. Now I do both fairly regularly and can appreciate them both for the different tastes and highs. Don't think I'll ever strictly Vape or strictly smoke ever again.

You can try crank the temp as high as possible. If the vape is good you can get very smoke-like taste and effects, yet it is still vapor. Only good vapes can do this well without burning, VXC for example.

I think the health benefits alone make it a non issue for me. I do love the stoned feeling of smoking, but it just doesn't seem worth the health risk.

Yea my Zephyr Ion is great at that but it's still not quite the same. Even something as insignificant as watching the cherry flare as you inhale harder is worth smoking to me.

I remember that. The cherry lighting up as you inhale can be and is visualy rewarding.
I'm sure that is the biggest reason why some e-cigs have LED cherries.
In my case, I found watching the vapors milking up the mouthpiece/bubbler/bag being an equally good replacement for this visual rewarding effect.
I actually set up lighting everytime its posible so i can watch them vapors.

Even when it seems very different it has its similarities. The density of the milk up can be analogous to luminance of the cherry - more of it means more smoke/vapor production therefore a quite direct indicator of the hit you're taking.

Just kind of stumbled onto this post, an interesting poll/read. Quit cigarettes in 87, cold turkey, just didn't have enough $ for groceries, babystuff, and smokes so the smokes didn't happen that day and I just never looked back. Luckily I had a lot of bunk mj at the time ;>) Made a New Years resolution last year Jan/13 to be combustion free. Had one brainfart where somebody passed me a j and I had a hit without thinking, (alcohol induced !). I also saved a tiny pellet of hash (for months) to smoke on a pin New Years Eve/14 (to celebrate my full year of no smoking) and of course it was a complete let down, lol. Had a few accidental flareups in my newest toy (FV) but that doesn't count as it doesn't get inhaled. From here on I say "FUCK COMBUSTION".

I'm only on my third week. I got the Arizer solo and was so overwhelmed by vaping that I completely forgot to smoke cigarettes (probably because I was too high to notice) for a couple of days. The cravings came back a week after, so I bought an e-cig and haven't burned anything since!

for me, today marks the third consequitive month without taking any toke of a joint kindly offered by friends. previously this was the main hurdle to overcome for me, since while on my own i only vaped anyway. i know, three months may not appear much, but one has got to start somewhere. :)

Congratulations! It sounds like you made it over the hump.

Always keep a good portable vape handy, and you may find your friends asking to pack your vape instead of rolling one. Fuck Combustion!!!!!!

nah, they like the ritual of passing a joint around, stating that vaping kills the spirit of enjoying the herbs. what they probably like more, is to be able to bogart the joint while passing. :) not to speak of the "better taste" and the "better buzz", which can easily be attributed to the nicotine. i learned to not care about their comments a while back. :) but i had a notable success in converting one of my vaping friends to conserve his abv. :)

Congratulations! It sounds like you made it over the hump.

I hated tobacco smoke even when I combusted - it stunk and stuck around. I'd send my smoker friends to the balcony to smoke even though I was fine with people toking indoors. Now that I vape exclusively (thanks to FC), I'm starting to feel the same way about cannabis smoke as I once did about tobacco smoke.

A taste on the tongue
I stopped tobacco 10 years ago and not had pure weed since Sunday been vaping a week. Will revert to pure 1 sheets when circumstances dictate.

I do not know anyone irl who doesn't mix it with tobacco I've had 10 years of people thinking I'm either hardcore or just plain weird.

I've got nothing against people using tobacco as a mix only the risk of being re addicted to nicotine is too great plus I think it would make me sick

I rarely ever combust- only as a last resort when I am out of town and away from my tools.

I quit cigs Nov 2012, thanks to vaping- best thing I ever did for myself.

I've truly said "Fuck Combustion" in my life. It took me a couple of years to do so, but I can't even stand smoking a damn joint anymore!

I haven't combusted in over two months now,I'm very happy about it.

I honestly just needed to not care if my friends are combusting around me,I just worry about myself now,and if they want to join me then all the power to em
