Now, as to DC law...I also live in this metropolitan area and think you may wish to look more closely into the laws in affect in DC:
What is still a criminal violation?
A person can still be arrested for:
http://mpdc.dc.gov/marijuana
- Selling any amount of marijuana to another person;
- Possessing more than two ounces of marijuana;
- Operating a vehicle or boat under the influence of marijuana; or
- Smoking, eating, or drinking marijuana – or holding or carrying a lighted roll of paper or other lighted smoking equipment filled with marijuana – in any public space, such as:
- On any street, sidewalk, alley, park, or parking area;
- In a vehicle on any street, alley, park, or parking area; or
- Any place to which the public is invited.
I do not recall seeing this before which really means nothing that I don't recall it, just saying I don't recall it but a closer look/ refresher is needed indeed apparently. See I already have a reason to be glad you stuck around!
I'm trying to pick just 1 vape to sneak on the cruise ship! Aww man this is a hard decision! lol. It might be between the Milaana and the Lotus. and I know the concentrate and DT atty's are coming with me. I hope my new VTC Mini batteries with Temp control come in before I leave!
I'm with you....I not only don't want to mess with our customs, but I definitely don't want to get involved with the justice organs of foreign 3rd world countries and when at dock, you are in their country. Was on a cruise once and saw a crew member dragged off kicking and screaming by the Panamanian cops for dope. Was a real eye opener. Of course the ship left without him.Please be careful with vapes on a cruise. It's pretty easy to get them and the MJ on the cruise but.... you should be aware that depending on your itinerary they may bring the dogs on board prior to off-boarding AND will walk them by the luggage waiting on you in the terminal if you aren't doing a carry-off yourself.
There's also customs to deal with as you leave. I was behind a woman at the customs desk when the agent found her purchase of pills and asked her for her prescription. She admitted she had no prescription and had bought them (think it was Mexico) in the overseas port. The agent was visibly upset but not nearly as upset as the woman who got caught as they asked her to step aside until another agent would walk her to the interrogation room. I've never seen the dogs hanging around the custom's agent desk/kiosk though.
I bring it on board but I only bring enough MJ for the cruise so I have nothing left and use a vape (Ubie) I'm throwing away before leaving the ship.

I find it interesting that the law specifically mentions smoking, eating, and drinking marijuana, but not vaporizing. It even specifically mentions lighted rolls of paper and lighted smoking equipment.I'm definitely not running, I just rather thought that Vitolo and I had concluded our discussion and that on a point or two we disagree...respectfully.

Yep, back surgery and significant neuropathy since 2004. Dang right, it sure is a life changer.
If said in response to me, please let me again say, as clear as I can, I do not set myself up as the arbiter of any one else behavior at all. That's it.
I expressed my view.
The end
The best to you all
All concentrate
Not legal here...
Just very fortunate
I have got to get me one of them carts
