Haven't used a honey bucket v banger, but have used regular quartz enail domeless drip tip v enail banger. I really prefer the banger style, there is a little bit more excess small waste (so not as efficient) compared to the regular quartz domeless (this due to when you cap your banger, there is more surface area and less contact with the heater, so it should be obvious that there is a little bit wasted, also from the bend in the banger it may collect a little claim), but I find I get better flavor from the larger size of the bowl and it's obviously much easier for the crumble compared to regular styles-
my favorite thing is how easy it is to just drop on a bunch of crumble or something that would be more difficult to fully dab on a regular nail, and just toss the carb cap/marble cap dabber I have (it's made for banger enail capping, has a slight area where you can put your dab on the end if you want to use it as a dabber too, and rests on the nail on it's own) and go at my own pace on the piece, as the restriction is so much lower than even a fully cleaned regular enail style it really frees up the function on your piece. So yea, I'm definitely a fan of the banger style vs regular domelesses (I've used plenty of quartz ones, still much prefer quartz to other materials). If I cap long enough though I still extract the dab fully, although it may take a couple small pulls to finish it off. I'd say the most efficient is the classic enail style just due to there being so much contact with the coil, with a runner up being the banger- and at that I find myself using only my bangers since I got them, my poor old quartz drip tip hasn't seen much light
That being said, I could see myself maybe going back to the regular style once in a while, whether it be based on need or if I get some really high end stuff- and I'm talking stuff like herb resin**. So if you need a nail for budder/crumble/DI (direct inject, as in I can hold my fully heated nail by the joint and it's pretty cool to the touch) then definitely bangers are a good choice imo, even if you don't have enail access, and caps for them are so easy- I've even seen people dabbing off a MS using a silicone jar or the bottom of a small glass dab jar like in this vid, and shit that MS fab-torus he uses his pad with is probably worth more than I'll spend on glass in my life. **Herb resin- bud is flash frozen as soon as it is picked/cut and then run to make extract, this stuff just landed in B.C. (not sure if cali/oregon had it on lock first, but it's a crazy price as a result, ranging from around 90-120/g), but the smell alone is almost worth paying for, the stuff is so dank its unreal. only one grower for all the dispensaries I've seen is even making the stuff (Heavenly Daze- but they markup their own stuff so much even selling to a dispensary it's hard to get on a budget, although it's always top shelf)
