Hi all thought it was about time we had a log vape in the UK as atm there are none in uk or europe and i think this needs to change a bit.



I am an Ex electronic engineer with a bit of mech engineering at times but due to bad health i have had to stop, and getting bored at home have decided to start a little log love for everyone to enjoy especially those who have seen them on youtube or FC and want a slice of the fun :)


I have built about 8 so far and all apart from one i have kept the others have been getting tested and reviewed by other vaporists and a couple of members from FC already have them and i am sure they will be along to give there views soon.

I am turning stems with SS tips and Wongs with SS tips plus i have silicon(for those that want it) and all glass draw tubes with an adjustable basket SS screen.



I have a selection of woods from sapele to panga panga and quite a few mozambican woods plus zebrano ,yew,purple heart,wild olive,wild mango,spalted beech,african blackwood to name a few but i can obtain virtually most blanks from a local wood yard that i have got to know and am very pleased with the wood i have obtained.

I am only doing this by myself atm, and make all the parts from scratch so i am not going to be churning out hundreds of these it will be just small runs and prob have a small waiting list as i have a few i am making for some customers already.

All the logs in these pictures are just waiting final assembly and are waiting to be purchased bar the tall slim one as that has been used.



Just a few to show the sort of logs i am doing give me a PM or email if anyone is interested in any in the pics or a new wood/style and we can go from there.

All FC members will get a special price of £99 inc postage which will include the log a PSU and extension cable, a wooden draw stem and wong both with SS tips, all glass draw stems are an extra £10 as i have to have these made by someone and have to order them as needed.

As i said before i am doing this mainly for something to do as not working and being ill takes its toll and as such will not be charging the earth for my logs as i want as many people as possible to experience log vaporizers and as such will always keep the price as low as i can.

People are welcome to send blanks for custom logs just email or pm me and we can start chatting.

Hope i have covered everything but questions and comments are all welcome.

Forgot to mention i have my own Hemp seed oil and beeswax wood finish which a small tub will be shipped with every log really brings them up nice and the hemp oil smells pretty good:brow:

Great to see the UK getting some local logs! Good luck with the new endeavor.

Had it not been for me owning a WW for a good few years i would never have known about them before joining FC, The WW was the basis for me starting my own, the heating core is similar but i have added a metal lip and sleeve on the heater port one for holding the stems and another it gives really good heat retention for long hits...........

I'v only been vaping since September, the vas is still very strong with me, and logs have interested me since the begging...

I just don't know enough about them yet, I need to read through the log threads and see what all the fuss is about...

I'm a carpenter so have a love of wood anyway...I'd like a log for purely aesthetic reasons I think.... but I can't justify that....

Let the log learning begin...

I love a log when you can leave it plugged in full-time. It's basically having a heat source warmed up and ready to go whenever you are!

Just like to say I live near RastaVapa and am currently testing one of these babies, pic no.5 I believe

These really are top quality and what an amazing price wooden stem and Wong included

They work incredibly well

Mine is left on 24/7 and it's always ready for an instant convection hit as and when U like

I also like to say that he is a top guy and I hope to pop in Tomm to dab a little Nepalese black rosin that I made today

Good luck with that lol. Might I suggest reading the 'best of' threads. Much shorter read and much more informative. The UnderDog is more similar to this than the E-Nano by the sounds of it.

When plugged in 24/7 a log is always up to vaping temp so you can just set a stem on it anytime you want a hit. No waiting + the ability to do tiny tiny amounts of fresh product in one or two hits along with being easily adapted to use with a water tool or that you can choose from a number of types of stems/bowls for dry vaping ... although very few extra parts are really needed also very little maintenance ever needed is nice along with their small size and as you say "being pretty"(i see all my log vapes as little works of functional art) are all part of why I love my Log style vapes so much and what I would say are a part of what they Bring to the table for me.

If you have an eq you might not really want a log. I tend to use my underdog more than my EQ because it is the simplest vape I own. It's small compared to the EQ and the underdog is a great aromatherapy device- it comes with a little copper bowl for oils. And even my plain and inexpensive one is attractive. Still if you don't have a portable vape you might want one of those.

Being a log fan I was really happy to get the Homegrown which you can see in Rastavapa's video.

I have used it through water & dry with glass wpa, jhook, wood-stem and the wong. All of them give the performance and satisfaction you would except from a log. I have a WW and HG seems better in performances, thanks to the modification. Really like the lip : so comfy ! I also like the fact the protecting screen is tighter than on the WW which is better for avoiding particles getting in.
10 mins for the warming up and clouds were mine ...since a week I didn't plug it off and use it daily.

I will upload some more videos, I had a few good ones but the task got me high enough to always find something wrong on it ahah (drawing without putting the log, etc... :)), I'm slightly perfectionist.
Here is not the best one in terms of light, but you can see 3 really good hits and the visual of abv at the end. Extraction was pretty much even. It is in X2 speed since it was quite long...

I sometime play with load-size and screen position to achieve different results : one hit rip with tiny load (screen a bit closer), multiple large hits with a tad bigger bowl (screen bit further), ...

A bit of bubble hash got me endless hits and I always have to stop cause I can't take more (I got quite good lung capacity) so it doesn't lack of power at all and even if I have a VVPS I don't find I need it.

Get on track before he will have a waiting list ;) A new log in business in EU is so nice, everyone should have a log standing in a corner of the house.
Always ready, always stealth ... and in style, please !

The SS cartridge element i think runs slightly hotter than the resistor but the log in the videos use's a resistor the difference is minimal and i can set a log to run either on the cooler or hotter side of vapor by element placement just let me know and i can set it :).

Yes all 12v pwm or vvps will work as most other logs no problem, i am looking to get some for people that ask for them.

Not sure the exact temperature i will dig out my IR thermometer from my hydro gear and let you know the core temperature ;) i try to set them how my own log is set which is around the middle but as i said i can send them out running a bit hotter or cooler, i have set a friends log hotter because he only vapes strictly hash.

I am getting some short glass gongs but without tank joints as yet, if more people are interested i will look to getting some made :D, i do know that HI glass stems will fit HG logs.
