Than I had an idea... "remember the pax is a conduction vaporizer as well, and for some reasons you need to pack it tight for the best result." well, it's the same with the herbstick, apparently. If you pack it tight you get some fine visible vapor. Still the herbstick is not a cloud machine like the Imag, but it gives you some very tasty vapor, for a quite long time... even with the old mouthpiece!

I received too the new mp(really similar to my modified mp), so I gave the Herbstick another test round and I tried a tight pack......without better results (yes, I can get some visible vapor at max if I wait at least 30s between draws....), no vapor, not really tasty (but taste is still polluted by shisha tobacco they used before) and no more efficiency.

I think the heating element is under the bottom of the bowl cause this is the only part to be really hot in the bowl and i get better vapor if I put a tiny dab of shatter here...?

I'm sorry for the manufacturer but I can't say it's a good vape if you can't get a nice hit, it performs like my fake pax at low setting without the heat feeling on your tongue, sorry but it's not enough for me (and I don't understand why they make so much t° presets if even at max you can't get any thick vapor)

Well waiting 30s between each hit is kind of normal, I would say! Also i'm inhaling slow, long and deep, which is also recommended for most units and I'm getting fine results with it. I find the vapor to be tasty and very smooth. I actually like that more than cloudy popcorn taste vapor.
Negative is the long heating time, though.
I have seen far worse! I even like it more than the FM due to the sealed airpath, to be honest.

Hi Mrweed, I'm agree with you about the building quality, the clean airpath and maybe the taste(mine is still polluted by tobacco taste) but I don't know why but the air vapor ratio is too low, too much fresh air, it's impossible to get a concentrated hit, I feel a bit the effects, a few the taste but no visible vapor except a very diluted vapor at level yellow and red with a lot of weed in the bowl (too much imo).

IMO peoples here don't like it except very low temp addicts, I get the feeling to waste my weed with it, I might like the low temp ability if I can get too a bigger hit when I want...

There is several units now with a really short heating time between hits(under 15s), Pax days are over imo...

But try a bit of shatter directly on the bottom of the bowl, the better vapor I got with the herbstick

hi, guys,it is Nico, finally I got registered , not easy, sorry for the samples issues, we tested with pipe tobacco, because weed is illegal in china, so pipe tobacco is the only choice for us. also I tested it with real weed in Netherland and also in USA. I think the vapor is not realy big, but still big enough to enjoy the herbstick. and the taste is really good. and also the design of the sir flow and the sitr pin is smart, is it? now we are puting it on the market officially, also we will have some even high end soon. @mrweed @PPN, if possible I will arrange a new herbstick to you guys for review, we will keep it no test with tobacco :)
also we made some improvements on it already, compared with other devices, we do have advantages and weekness, please have more proposals for us, we will do our best to make it perfect.
by the way, if we make a big one, you could load 10gram or more in the device, but still movable device, is it a good idea?

Hi, happy to see you here but contact staff menbers to get an approved commercial account before to post again.

Better improvement imo is to get some cloudier settings for weed, I know shisha don't need too much heat, and a shorter heating time...

imo the bowl is already very large, a 10g bowl could be nice for shisha user but not for medical mj user, we love the taste and a too large bowl will taste bad before to be done.

It will be nice if it could work with a really small load too (0.1 or less) cause actually it needs 0.3 to 0.5 to work "fine"

I see the herbstick on Alibaba for 42$, I think they are trying to sell the stock cause they priced it at 289$ on Ciggo.com , but even at 42$, it's not a really good device except if you like really lowtemps and quasi invisible vapor....and it eat your stash!

If somebody is interested to try it... pm me...

I tried this device too, and honestly I could not get any vapor out of it other than placing it on the last heat setting, then the herb quickly turned brown and I just lost .3 grams... :(

It is well built, and nice packaging and whatnot, but just cause its pretty in the outside does not mean its also pretty in the inside lol.

I have two things to say,
I like the idea of a large load vaporizer, 10+grams, if it vaporized effectively and thoroughly.
And if the mouthpiece is still in redesign stage, make it fit a 14mm glass joint perfectly.

Hi, I received the new version of the herbstick and after a first bad try (sorry mrweed I pm'ed you after this first try) I could got better results.

This version is definitly hotter and produces clouds with the 3 higher settings and the good new is that I can get a nice session with a half bowl!, you don't need to load your oven full to get great results.

Taste is nice but there is definitly a high air/vapor ratio so hits are not really "dense" but it helps for dry hits (it is really smooth) and for the taste (except the rubber mp which pollute the taste a bit).

It's not a cloudy machine but it's enough satisfying now, maybe not my on the go daily driver but I'll use it in the future cause it could be nice when my throat will be sensitive since it is very smooth!

Hi what do you think about your new unit?

edit: my favourite way to use it is to put a bit of shatter on the bottom of the bowl with some added screens or a bit of flowers (I prefer screens), I turn it on max and enjoy a long and tasty session with nice clouds and still smooth like butter! It's where it shines! It could be the shatterstick!

i've seen it on ebay for less than 100$! i like the herbstick, but the 290$ on their website is a bad joke.

I get the V2 and it's exactly the same design than the previous version but it works now, and really well!

They have a version 2 now named Herbstick Deluxe. not this design, it's a square shape box,from their FB description it's smart Vaporizer.
