Having problems with my camera.. so sry for the crappy quality. On this picture is all you need to dodissasemble the herbstick .. U just slide it up and down. Anyway.. i learn this the hard way... because they told me engineer said ... it could not be opened,lol... Anyway i will have a new one comming so i will call their customer service great..
So here are few thing you must note in order to dissasemble your herbstick without damaging it ...
So my problem was that moutpiece mechanizm is somehow defective..
First thing i did was opening the bottom with a knife...3rd picture on the right..
Then i tried to remove top part but it was stuck with something.. so i tried to pull the battery and the heater which resulted in disconnecting the two red wires which are connected to tiny metal pieces wrapped in the brown "tape" which reminds me of an inhalator capsule.. material wise.. and resoldering proved to be impossible.. Anyway,, you don't need to do the same
... The white wire in the heater is the teperature probe which looks like the one some multimeters have..
Sadly i couldnt take photos of the heater but there is a long straw molded to the chamber which can be seen from the upper part. I think airpath is pretty safe,, cause one metal tube goes directly into the other.. some recailm build up makes it even a tighter seal..
If your mouthpiece ever gets stuck you can free it following these steps.
1.Remove pin at the back and remove buttons if you can with a help of a tooth pick for example. you dont need to 100% do that but it is easier that way
.
2Make sure you remove the diamond because it can scratch something.. very shar on the other end..
3- slide it up by pushing it from down..
Carefully...
4. On the last picture you can see the whole where the locking mechanizm lies.. it is basicly a bolt held by a spring over it held by a metal particle with bolt on top.. which goes into the big spring around the heating chamber.
U need a simple screw driver first remove top metal part then the spring and the bolt ,then you can free your moutpiece and put it back together
..
Some other impressions on the internals.. There seems to be some kind of yellow stuff on the circuit boards on the solderings.. i dont know if it resin or that thing colophone or smth.. an amber crystal.. Anyway.. airpath seems sealed when moutpiece is attached.. but.. chamber is open and dust from electronics could enter there.. so.. they need to add a fix there for sure
.(maybe a silicon padbetween the metal piece and the bolt that top off the spring that holds the locking mechanizm.. This is where air from electronics enters. although it is passive
