I have seen a lot of people mention that their glass gets dirty very quickly and i have found a super easy and simple solution to this!

When i use my RooR XL (herbo clone), VRIP wand or even my Errlectric herb nail standard, i get a LOT of particles sitting in the bottom of my WT. Looks disgusting after one session! This had to end!
The Errlectric has a super fine Titanium screen installed but it is still not enough.

Solution is to add a FINE screen underneath the original screen!
My WT's are now kept at least 90% cleaner with no to very little particles in the WT!
This means i get to clean the bowl more often but that is much easier than cleaning every WT!

I was thinking along these lines! Any screen recommendations? I think I might have a spare MV one somewhere that is very fine mesh.

This is why i love this piece so much:

The fact that there is a flat section just beneath the bowl that water never reaches means the nasties that fall through all get stuck there and nothing ends up in the water.
I have literally gone two weeks without a clean on this piece and it was fine (i did change water daily though). All it took was a warm water rinse after two weeks and it looked brand new again. I could probably get away with changing the water once a week, but that's a bit gross....

When i first got the Ti i experimented with heating the nail off of the bowl, or on the bowl, and really in the end it is far more convenient to leave it on, i also get more consistent results that way.
You can get great taste by heating the nail to a higher temp and then dropping on a cold bowl, but it is harder to find that perfect vapour window consistently i found.

Now I just heat the nail 5 minutes or so on the bowl, anywhere from 5.5 to 6.5 depending of the time of day or the hit i want. To me the perfect hit is at 6. 7 starts to taste of popcorn, and i am surprised you managed 8 without combusting!
I warm everything up, load the warm bowl to the middle of the handle more or less, hit it straight away twice in a row, use my Brebbia pipe tool to stir once, tamper, hit one last time, dump AVB.

Also, just in case you haven't seen my o-ring fix previously, you can easily find silicon or viton o-rings and use them as a heat shield on the handle.
Inside diameter of 10mm and thickness of 4mm is perfect. I first got orange silicon ones, then replaced them with black viton ones.
It's much nicer than using the power cord to lift the handle.

8 was pushing it! No heatsoak (well, maybe a few seconds) and straight into it. HUGE dense cloud, popcorn flavour mixed with terps, very dark brown AVB. It was very close but no combustion! Thanks for the usage info. I'm still finding that sweet spot, but I haven't had a bad session yet in my searching. Your o-ring heat shield is interesting, will have to look into that.

This vape is on another level for me! Vapour density, volume, flavour and effect are the best I've experienced, and I own some big hitting vapes.

Has anyone done a comparison with this v Subliminator v Flower Pot v anything else on this level?

I am not sure of the diameter of your bowl so cannot recommend anything.

I just scrounged around until i found a suitable one that i did not need for anything else.

Maybe our units are tuned differently but at 8 (even 7) I get a blackened abv and a sligthly burning taste...not my cup of tea, I use mainly setting 5, sometime a bit more (5 and a quarter) for clouds and sometimes a bit less for flavor. I still get very big clouds.

If you want to keep your WT clean use a top hat basket screen which fit the GonG (arizer ones for 18mm and elb top hats for 14mm) this was working for my Vrip but I don't use it with my Ti.

Like for dabbing, the higher the temperature, the more reclaim you'll get in your glass. IDK why but it looks like low temp avoid condensation....

Not in my experience, I noticed that when I switched from a torch to an enail. I can't remenber where but there is a discussion somewhere on this topic.

I'm personnaly convinced less heat equal less reclaim.

Not enough heat is a good way to get a massive glob of your extract down the tube for reclaim. All lower temps do is basically melt your concentrate. I've recently tested this with an e-nail, but IMHO it's also common sense. Anyways, not going to debate about it but if you find that thread please let us know.

like a classic Ti nail but you can't use large dab except using the worm technic but it might be slightly wastefull. Actually, after tested it I can say i will not use it anymore, it is pretty nice but I prefer to dab with my quartz nail although.... now if I have to rebuy the whole kit I will not buy the enail config.

In the Idea of being really in total convection, the bowl being actually less hot..
This could also allow more heating and play with air flow ?
The heat source may be a little far, i'll try this for thé fun of science..

Sorry for the double post, seems that i cannot edit..
It works quite well, it may be a little less conduction, but the bowl ended up even by heating, but just a little, nothing similar with the herb mode.
This also allows to be able to modulate the air flow provided to have a carb or tools (a little spoon would work) to plug the remaining hole, wich is not possible with the real flower glassware
I was on 8.5 and feels like it was about 4.

So the dirty glass I mentioned was from the particles of the herb - green dust! Now this was a big problem for me! After my first couple of days, I was getting bad allergy symptoms. Using the Herborizer tube didn't help, there's no diffuser or anything. Fine particles were getting into my airways. It was better with the FC mod and FC 1000, but the native glass was killing me.

Finest screen I could find was from the MV. It was a bit small in diameter but did help, but with the advice from @PPN I used a top hat I had from my LSV knock off. Now it's great! Absolutely saved it for me, for a while I thought I wasn't going to be able to use it any more. And I am so glad because the tube is fecking marvellous.

I've used it with the two bongs I've mentioned, but NOTHING does it justice like the tube. I can really push the temps high on it, probably due to the big airflow. The glass is about 40cm tall at a guess. The AVB is always lighter using it. 7 on the FC pipes was a slightly popcorning, charring experience, but in the tube it feels just right! And 8 is an amazing experience, just dip the heater in and take it straight out after taking a big hit.... heaven But a lot comes down to how long you leave the heater in the bowl.

I also fashioned a stand from a hydrafoot and a 18mm F/F joint I had lying around which works quite well. When I get in I turn it on and leave it till bedtime.

After a week with the Herborizer, I'll say this is a definite class above anything I've tried. The tube is just perfect for it. It densely whitewalls the entire tube effortlessly, and the vapour is cool, comfortable and bursting with flavour. In all areas, it's phenomenal. Only one thing I don't like -it needs a stir or two, and this is a bit fiddly when hot. Other than that I think my VAS may be cured. Well after I get the VapCap. Then it will be cured. Definitely. Yep. Definitely.

How do you find the quality of the tube? Would you say it's 5mm? It's been a decade since I had my Herborizer Classic w/sphere so I can't remember the quality, but have read reports that it's very thin glass and cheapish. I have my eye on the bubbler!

Stirring concerns me (hate it)....but this is a connoisseur level device, so might not mind for the flavour and vapour output quality. Does it vape uneven? Is it kinda like the LSV or enano in that it will brown and vape slightly uneven so requires the stir?

How hot and uncomfortable is it do accomplish this? My biggest fear about the herbo ti is breakage! So just want to make an informed decision. I honestly have no other VAS at the moment, just bought the Solo 2 which will be my staple for portability, and I love nothing more than my Supreme 3, however would like a desktop plugin, and I don't have my eyes on anything else anymore but this.

So wish Sebastien would hook us up with an FC discount or some kind of incentive.

When I first tested the Ti, I had the heater in the wrong position by accident. The designer (Sebastien) tells me the heater position can cause un-even cooking of the load. You know those little hex screws on the heater? One of them had come loose after a few heat cycles, and I just re-tightened it without thinking too much. Sebastien from Herborizer pointed out my mistake, that the heater needs to extrude from the glass housing by 5mm. I suggested a quickstart guide, and ended up designing it for them. The guide is being included in the current production run. This is a preview, showing the 5mm thing:

Sebastien explained that when the heater is in the correct position (5mm extrusion), the 4 channels on the heater create an air vortex in the bowl. This produces even heat, and eliminates the hot spot in the center like the XL had. Apparently one of the Subliminator models uses the same principle, with channels creating an air vortex.

Check your heater is in the correct position, hopefully you can avoid the need to stir (I also don't like stirring!)

And how effective is the Herbo Ti for micro dosing? What is the minimum sized load that can be vaped properly? Since the heat goes to the moon, I assume anything, even .05g would be fine to vape in one hit?

Honestly, the stiring is super easy... It's not awkward at all, nothing like trying to stir a Sublimator or something like that. Just lift the injector i one hand, stir with the other, nothing hot or burning. (if you have insulated the handle one way or another)
I think it's definitely worth stiring once at least, takes a second and it gives you a couple extra good hits. To me the strongest hits are the last ones after the stir. Not the best flavour, but the strongest hits for sure.

You can get your herbs completely brown without a stir, but you will reach a point where vapour production stops. You can still stir and get more hits that wouldn't be extracted without stirring.
