The temperature settings are the same as the XL.

From the herborizer.com website:

Fonction convection vaporizer, swirling heat, variable temperature of 90° to 230°C , to vaporize all medicinal plants, oils and resinous (on the bowl), optimized for complete extraction in 1 or 2inhalation

I can't wait for your guys' reviews! I unfortunately won't be able to buy one until xmas! Was thinking about contacting Sebastien and inquiring about an FC Discount?

As it's the same temp controller, same temp spectrum (90-230°C), and the manufacturer doesn't mention anything on that, I presume it's the same temp settings ;)

I think you would need an higher max temp for dabbing.

As the concentrate will be in direct contact on the resistance, and website says : Enail temp max: 450°C,
I think it will be okay (although I don't really know about dab temps, if anyone knows and can double check..)

I will ask to Sebastien about a dab temp (Direct contact on resistance) diagram, similar to the herbs one (Temp on the bowl)

Or you could use a tea towel (or other fabrics..) to handle the glass housing. You won't hold it more than 5-10sec max. The other one will be cold, and you won't (definitively not!) touch the Ti resistance ! :ninja:

Ahhh, yes that makes sense! I'm thinking the right angle section (where the cable plugs in) stays relatively cold, so it can be used as a handle to pick up the unit. I can see how its very safe & easy to remove the glass with a cloth, and pop on the new glass.

I'm actually really excited, since the original Herbalaire is my favourite home vape for years. To me, it seems like Herborizer Ti has improved the design in every way possible

Looking forward to someones first impressions (who will be the lucky first?)

Yep, think same here  The fins on the "right angle section" will help to dispel heat

Anxiously awaiting the post guy ... but I just received my MiniVap Quick glass core, it helps to be patient!
Mine should be here tomorrow or Saturday .. :ninja:

:myday: Here are some informations, directly from Sebastien himself (Feat Google trad!)

Concerning the Enail temperature correspondence:
I have not yet had time to establish a correspondence of temperatures, I had planned to do it during the holidays of the end of the year"

Concerning the actual correspondence:
The indicated T ° corresponds to the air passing through the bowl

Some shipping infos:

I regularly receive questions about shipping to the USA ...
We have integrated on the site, a new mode of delivery by carrier "DHL express" more efficient and safe, for the USA and Canada
Delivery times are 3/4 days and prices are reasonable

Outside the European Union our products are sold HT (-20% VAT) to individuals and professionals
And since March 2016, an agreement has been signed between France and the USA, so that all parcels shipped from France to the USA and worth less than 800usd, are no longer taxed on arrival, Therefore has nothing to pay at delivery

We also are discussing for a micro bowl
Shorter? 14mm screen at bottom? second row of glass protrusions (to hold the screen on top of actual one)?
Share your ideas here, and Sebastien will be aware of, one way or another

Seb said there will be a Glass screen i moaned about this to him before if they did a smaller height bowl with the bowl shaped V like a normal RooR bowl so a standard 29.2mm glass gauze from RooR drops right in. It sort of works well on the original XL Herbo as long as it sits 100% vertical as the first layer to go on it aint powdery kief otherwise you lose some sucking though until it beds in a bit but once sticky it does start to stay right and then everything is glass and to me on the old Herborizer that is magical.

Hence why i think i would prefer both one for slow sipping and see through, And the new for a bit faster if people come over the herborizer original becomes useless as everyone has to wait for heatup on max temps it takes ages and is a snooze fest when you want constant clouds. You see this in the dim light the herbo glows orange then stops after a minute or so. Again though using more concentrated material helps so it becomes a sippy wonder machine with kief.

Im going to hold off and maybe get a blower to make a custom bowl if it doesnt happen because you have to keep going back for gauzes which sucks. Were leaving the EU now too so this will invoke charges on even small packages and i dont fancy buying a lifetime supply in one go. A glass roor gauze is like one euro and will last a lifetime but they need to redesign the bowl to slope inwards first!

I got it! The Herborizer Ti is sitting on my desk, after an initial 15-20mn burn-off Sebastien recommands, I loaded the bowl with some Lavender, set the dial at 6 and got a delicious vapor which was filling my water tool with dense clouds.... seems we have a winner here!

I don't get a lot of time just now... I wil post more later.

Sorry for the back to back post but I can't wait to post my thoughts. I never tried the previous version from Herborizer cause I read some feedbacks speaking about airy hits and very long sessions, I stayed away from it until I see the new Ti version and this one is trully awesome, pure taste, fat clouds, fast extraction on setting 6 and more (I only tested 7, at higher, and there was plenty enough vapor) and you can get a longer session with smaller clouds if you down the dial around 4-5.

Actually I used it at 4 (pure and delicious low temp vapor), 6 (great taste and great vapor) and 7 (a fountain of vapor!) and now I prefer to start at 5.5 and increase to 6-6.5 to cash the load (it takes me 5-6 hits but I can't manage very long and deep hits). Imo there is plenty enough power to vape all sort of concnetrates using full convection but i didn't tested it yet except a drop of reclaim on the top of a semi-vaped bowl...which was vaped in 2-3 intense inhalations!

The previous version seems to prefer large loads, I just tried a very small load with the Ti and it was working very well too so I can assume you can micro-dose with the Herborizer now!

There some improvements to do also.... the handle is hot, very hot if you let it on for a long time and it didn't comes with a stand...not a big issue...except when it's time to load/unload. Although Sebastien told me they are planning an isolated handle and a stand for the beginning of the year (actually I use the upper part of my Vrip bowl as a stand).

Still not tried the enail.... more testing is in progress...!
Edit: Strain is LavenderxLavender (the tastier of my stash,+1year of curing!) and I only tested a medium grind from my 4 pieces grinder. I received a very nice grinder from Herborizer , in the package there was:
- Herborizer Ti
- Flower bowl
- flower glass cover
- enail glass cover
- Dabber
- replacement screens and o-rings
- Allen screw (to take off the heating element for cleaning I think)
- Dial
- power adapter and cord
- and the grinder
The 6 first items comes in a e-cig box style and the 3 last (grinder, dial and PA) in their own box.

What's a powerfull vape!

Just tested a concentrates convection bowl, loaded the cold bowl(to avoid CC sticks on the wall) with a bed of kief from my grinder and the same amount of non-full melt bubble hash, set the dial on 7 put the injector on the cold bowl for 1mn at max and..... ENJOY! It's amazing to see the bubbles and all this load (around 0.15-0.20) was killed in 3 big and incredibly smooth tokes, I just stirred one time and took another less satisfying hit. And it was only setting 7..... I need to lower the dial for flowers!

I can notice it's not necessary to soak heat letting the injector on the bowl and if you are a flavor chaser it's something to avoid cause the bowl can be very, very hot...and this adds some conduction/radiation!

I'll love to hear a comparison with the previous version which looks like a flavor heaven....@joaon ?

Hey guys, received mine Saturday..

Here is the bad boy :

(Actually @10 during the photo .. ≈ 300°C ! )

-> Grinders :tup:

@PPN review said all: This damn thing rocks!
It can hit like a train, or swirl gently & warm ..
The conception is really good, the Titanium is beautiful :luv:,
I loved looking at it during the first warm up, to see that thermal coloring process !

Have tried some Vapcap reclaim with Enail glass, it was my first dab -> :haw:

This thing is powerful. It easily handle a micro dose of 0.05g of herb, I will test with less..
I find the flavors are same, even better when micro-dosing; than Basic-XL
It just extract the whole bowl in less inhalations !

6.5 will be my max for herbs, I almost combust @ 7-8.
It's way more hotter than Basic & XL!
Not harsher or what, just more powerful!
I love to see how it can milk my bubbler with micro doses ..
Not so much a sipper, compared to classic ones !
The heat-up time is shorter and more reactive, same for heat-down !

Sure the all thing get warm and hot ! But you still can handle it to load/undload, just don't grab it near the heater ! I've used some heat shrink wrap on the handle. Looking forward for that isolated one!

Each time I wanted to write a review, I tried it one more time, and every time I was way too far away to expect something intelligible
:leaf:Actual strain is Sensi Skunk , a sweet citrus Indica, and I've tried to capture some rushs to make a little video; bowls after bowls.. High as a kite, is you know what I mean .. :whoa:

Would love to try it with some good Sativa, and good hashes (morroccan, Temple balls :luv:..)

I was already convinced by the classic Herborizer, but the Ti is really an improvement !:tup::bowdown::luv:

As I said to Sebastien, it would fit perfectly in a Coffee-shop :myday: (Meantime, we shall stay @Home..)

Can't wait to hear (& see ) how you feel it, @bleak

Enail option testing report:

Since I heard the heater was running at 450°C I tried my first dab at 6 on the dial...too hot for me, so i tried another small dab at 5...and 4 ...and i found the better compromise was 3 for a nice taste....and I was yet very medicated!

More testing is needed but I'm thinking it doesn't taste as nice as my enail with quartz nail but it's very similar than my Ti nail taste.

This morning my Herbo survived to a disaster, my wife's cat jump on my vape station desk, Herborizer, bowl and a lot of glass stuff was falling everywhere on the concrete, some adaptaters and my Vapocane broke but all the rest is still in 1 piece! This cat is a rude guy, never gentle, he always jump like that on the diner table, computer keyboard, on your face while you are sleeping....it makes me crazy, but that's a good cat!

Another short post to tell you I lowered my t° setting, with a good 10mn heat soak you get amazing taste &clouds at 4 on the dial, without to heat soak your bowl you need to crank the t° up to get a similar result (without the same taste although...). So there is definitly some radiation playing in the game but it doesn't affect the taste if you keep t° low enough.

Here some bad pics I made:
The enail glass with my own carbcap (it doesn't comes with any carb cap)

And with flowers...

Sorry again for the bad pics....I need a new phone!

I've found (with an infrared thermometer) that :

1 - 110°C
2 - 125°C
3 - 140°C
4 - 160°C (4.½ - 180°C)
5 - 190°C (5.½ - 210°C)
6 - 230°C (6.½ - 240°C)
...
10 - 300°C

So @5 now, it will have near the same temp than xl @6, and the basic fixed one (190°C)

Not sure if it's very accurate, as it depends on heat soaking time, draw speed, as you can kill a micro dose bowl @10 in one 5-10sec inhalation (not more, or you'll combust..), or sip it @4 during little session.

Wait 'n see what Sebastien will tell us about equivalences ;)
In the same time, he said me that he usually use it @ around 6, and vary a bit according to quantity on the bowl

I think I will go to hotter temps for micro doses or abv, and lower ones for bigger bowls ( >0,1g)
Or 1-4 for (week)day time, 4-6 for evenings & partys; and 6-10 for those who miss smoke? (Or dab, but not sure, as @PPN said..)

Edit: Oh, and it does reclaim on the bottom of the bowl very well!
Just scrapped some, direct into the Dynavap! Yummy ! :luv:

and here is how I rest the heater when loading or whatever:

(Yeah, I know, that glass need a good cleaning too.. Abv Qwiso, anyone ? ^^)

@PPN & @Joaon : Thanks a lot for your first imressions and all the Pics! Nice to get some Information, as this Vape really got my Interest.
I would love to hear a few Comparisons to other "Heavy-Hitters", especially Evo / Sub / Supreme and perhaps you can comment on the "thickness" of Vapor which is pretty important to me - hate airy hits because even if they get me high, the satisfaction is not there.

Thanks again, have a nice day!

PPN

If you like thick hits a heat soak is a good idea! I never tested the 3 vapes you mentionned but since you can load a lot more in the Herborizer bowl and extracts most of the goodies in 2-3 hits I can assume this vape can compete with the bigger hitters avalible in the market!

My arsenal count a Cloud+ and a Vrip, both heavy hitters although if the Vrip is very close of the herbo I feel the Cloud+ a lot inferior (especially in term of taste).

Yeah for me its the sublimator id love to see a true test of both but the herbo is more glass than the sub and much easier to clean and see inside i think? It surely would taste better once this glass gauze arrives too because you have more heat now under the herb and change the convection and conduction properties of the vape using all glass.

Seems really early though i will not make any judgement until i see this glass gauze system, And wish more would email to force sebs hand *evil grin* hehe!

Hi could you elaborate about the "glass gauze"? Is it a gauze to soak concentrates in....I don't understand to be honnest. And Seb didn't spoke to me about something like a gauze but only for a stand and an insulated handle but maybe I missed something!

Still amazed with the Herborizer Ti , used a lot the flower bowl with flowers, kief, bubble hash and shatter I still need to plan more oil attachment testing.

My only one complain is there is too much cords: a 1m cord(+or-)+ power adaptater+1m cord+dial+1m cord+injector! I think it would be more convenient to pair the power adaptater and the dial in the same box.

I'm thinking about to drive the injector with my enail controller....

@PPN It is not for concentrates it is basically glass screen which you buy once clean ultrasonic and last forever where as the screens eventually it gets so dirty it must be put in the bin hence either buying LOADS with the vape for lifetime or going back again and again and tyhe delivery prices are quite high from France to UK.

V shaped bowl like the RooR bowls and using thier glass 29.2mm gauze dropped in. Ive said it a million times it would work perfect if the bottom of the herbo bowl sloped inward like a regular V V flower bowl because at the minute the gaps can be just slightly too big and it can rattle around if stirred and you can have material fall through but once the first bowl becomes sticky it works wonders and stays glued in place. It is basically the exact same system people use with a flame except you could use a herbo. Honestly im still amazed how even after telling them the bowel is still weirdly not sloping inwards you could have both but i dont know and its easy enough to just get one made elsewhere its only the bowl everything inc the gauze is universal.

The herbo gauzes are for the herbo only... they really need to sort it out its stupid al you need to do is made it sloped inwards below the dimples!!!
