I mentioned mine does the same thing a while back.
If i set it to 188 and vape and then move down to 186, the display usually goes up at least 4 degrees before starting to cool down. I guess it gets heat soaked during use and does not cool off too quickly during.

I have also not received any responses from them in a few days! Last week it was quick!!
My guess is closed for the season perhaps?

My SOLO is 5 years old and still works fine?

I had many other VAPES however they were good I just impulsively changed them.

Back in the day we smoked joints and focused on CANNABIS.
In HAWAII it was free and my BREW friends brought over DURBAN POISON by the trash bag.
Back in the day was the 70's!

I'll get a HA and a few other devices for giggles in 2016!

I am loving doing micro loads in my Elite!
0,07 per load, two stems and I am as medicated as I need to be. That is off 0,14g!!! I am good for two hours this way and only vape later before bed.
My consumption has gone down like crazy and I am still in flavor and cloud town!

It's a winner all round!

Woah, so like tubing coming off of the top and into the INTAKE of the 2nd hA unit? Do I understand this correctly? Or did I not measure my morning sativa session dosage correctly?


I am having a hard time understanding how the previous owner of my new used elite got the bottom of the tong's so stained? I have put my newer elite through some pretty good use over the last week and my tong still looks like new. Only thing I can think of is that he let it sit on the elite and the heat/resin permanently stained the bottom 1/8" of the tong? They also take longer to hold when inserted and are looser compared to my newer tong.

That is od that the TonG is so badly stained!
My 2.1 and Elite's are still pure white after a quick ISO soak.
They do tend to build up a LOT of resin around the screen though, a bonus to scrape off and vape!

WOW! Never seen any bit off a HA look that stained. Maybe different materials were put through the unit? Almost looks like a tea stain.

I have to get one of those regulators for my pump as well! Does it work well for adjusting the flow?

Only issue I can think of is the inside airpath and whatever is in there being covered in condensed vapor... not sure how it would affect it, if at all.

I use my PV GonG that I have made a basket screen for, any size load is easily achieved this way.
I load about 0,05 to 0,07g and then using a pencil, I place it under the screen and use my finger on top of the load to compress it into a puck.

I then place the loaded GonG into a preheated Elite at 186 and allow to preheat for 30 seconds.
Then hit and try and clear the micro load in one hit and hold for 15 seconds!! Slowly exhale and relax and wait for impending doom! Lol!

If I use less than 0,05 I can clear it in one hit.
Any more and it takes a few more hits to cash the load.

I will also use a WT with the least amount of diffusion to maintain flavor.

I find that I have to weigh with this vape for micro loads!
0,1 for me is about a 15 minute session...

Finding that two micro loads does me for at least 2 to 3 hours!!

It works! But I haven't tested it more than that first time, just about to head out to pickup a reducer so I can use it with my glass pieces! A bunch came in the pack so you can have a couple!

I did clean out the air intake very well, and it was soiled, but so was my brand new elite - due to 99% using it inverted.

Thanks!!! So nice that you have over a year of experience! Functionally everything is perfect, and they do take longer to "take hold" than my newer tong, but work just as well!

It's amazing how long a sesh at 200c can be when you use .25g of unground (about the capacity of the regular pv gong)! All tasty and flavourful!

Anytime!
I do grind when doing micro loads. I find this extracts a lot faster than unground since the layer of herb is even.

A solo GonG works and you can slip the crucible over the end for a bit of extra conduction if the mood strikes!

Sticks: Try this (if you don't have a gong)...move your screen in the crucible to a position that allows you to place whatever size load you want on the outside of the crucible. My default is .25 when fully tamped but I can use less and get great results, and you can move it as close as you like and tamp away! Carefully insert the crucible, plop on tong and you're ready to go as soon as it's tight! .05 no problem!

The hA elite is SO versatile! Surely the most versatile vape out there! Haven't even tried a bag yet! I've been too busy vape bonging!

I've been cycling 3 MPs for 16 months using cannabis only. Soak them regularly in ISO to clean. My stains (in that same area only) are much darker than those pictured but don't affect performance. The surface is still perfectly smooth. I think over time with heat and resins, discoloration is inevitable.

My 5+ year old one is black there and I don't notice a taste difference between that one and my new unstained tong. I get tons of resin buildup there, specially when I do wax. Or my favorite flower with wax on top. I think I'll go do that right now.

I do, and so does @lazylathe and I think @stickstones. I sold my Herbalizer, and now with the hA elite, I see no reason for an Herbalizer in my collection.
