Not really sure if anodized really matters, but the Titan looks a little better, not counting the ugly Titan branding. I was also looking at this one from GotVape, but from some reviews online regarding their service, it seems like they are not people I want to deal with (unless you guys think otherwise).

In reality, I'd like to get the gotvape one cause it's unbranded and I can choose the color. But I'm still hesitant regarding their customer service and it is on the pricey side (>$30 after shipping). Let me know, Thanks!

Titan grinders are very nice. I have the 4pcs 50cmm model. if you go back a page, i posted some pics. Anodized means that the aluminum was chemically treated to make it much more durable. It turned out to be the perfect single sesh nug grinder. Also Kelly, the vendor said if I don't like the grinder for any reason I could send it back. the finish is really nice too. Don't have to worry about prints.

doubledown said:^^^ Seems the new (2011) Chromium Crushers are made from aluminum (according to an ebay dealer claiming they have the latest authorized version) Lot's of these grinders seem to be going through changes. Lot's of imitators out there, but real deals are hard to find. MNB, CC, Trueblendz and others are either hard to find or unavailable/out of stock when I search. Trueblendz seems to have moved manufacturing to USA and changed design. I could only find one place that had the new ones in stock. They also had old stock available at a discount. MNB, sad to say, is well documented as having been bought out. Many posts of unhappy people either getting inferior product when they order or getting nothing at all. Space Case and Mendo still seem to be going strong

I've had both versions of the CC (heavy zinc/steel alloy and aluminum [apparently no longer available]), and an aluminum Sharp Crusher, and although they may be made by the same company, all three are different.schwann said:I've got a question regarding the Sharp Crushers being sold. That's not my experience. If it were significantly better, I think we'd have seen more manufacturers going to it. I think it's more of a gimmick than better technology.the metal in the non aluminum chromium is an steel/zinc alloy blend. extra heavy. extra durable. they stay sharp much longer than any aluminum grinder i have owned.

2 grinders. 1 made from aluminum. 1 made from alloy. Both were used under the same conditions. [freezer/quarter] Roughly around 6 ounces went through each one.

You can clearly see there is much more wear and tear on the teeth of the DG. The CC teeth look "almost" as good as when i got it. Same goes for the outer surface of the grinders. Dc looks very scuffed. The CC, a little bit but nowhere near as much. Does one, do the job better than the other? No. Does one outlast the other. Looks that way.
I plan on doing this with a space case black 4pcs & chromium crusher. Just got a brand new CC, so there is still time to get a SCTi

Unless you like a really heavy grinder, for some reason, there's no reason to get the alloy version of the Sharp Crusher. You can't beat aluminum for light weight and strength. I'd stay away from colored grinders. Anodizing doesn't produce a black, red, blue, etc. color, and it's likely to get scratched up. They've raised the prices a little, but the plain aluminum Sharp Crusher is still under $20 delivered, and the best buy of the bunch.

Thanks for the pics but shouldn't you be comparing grinders from the same company? It could be just that the chromium crusher in general is made better than the diamonds.
