Help VapCap M Please

hi guys

Just receive my vapcap M yesterday.

I tried to use, but didnt make any clouds. I feel the taste but nothing more.

I respect the click, im using a triple torch from dynavap, and i heat a little far from the M for the matterial inside heat better.

Can anyone help me please!?

I just smoke Hash, and i bought this one because everyone said its amazing.

So what am i doing wrong?

A few questions for you. Are you getting good air flow when you use the vape and what colour changes are you seeing in your hash after use?

The M have a good air flow, and my hash just get a little bit more darker, but just a bit, almost nothing.

Already put a big piece of hash inside, and a small piece but is the same. No clouds. Have some malleable hash and hard hash but both didnt work :-(

I have a firefly2, and i take more and less 3 days to know how to do clouds on that. But the M seens very easy to use. To be honest dont now what to do.

Single flame our hemp fiber will help guys?

So you're currently NOT using any hemp fiber or concentrate pad material in the cap? Just the hash?

edit - Please ignore. I assumed hash needed fiber/etc, but it appears I am wrong.

If the air flow is good and the hash is still not cooking, perhaps more heat will help. A little more lighter time or varying your draw rate might be worth a try.

The Vapcap is fantastic with hash. I vape both hard Moroccan hash and soft pliable Afghani hash. The trick for me is to create lots of surface area without crumbling the hash.

For hard hash I slice the hash very thin using a razor blade and pop it directly into the Vapcap chamber. No hemp fiber or anything else.

For soft hash I pinch off a bit and flatten it between my fingers to form a thin pancake. Again I just pop it into the herb chamber as is.

I like to heat the Vapcap cap over it's bottom half (this is the end of the cap where the digger outter is attached) a good second or so past the click. The air intake hole located on the body should be covered with your finger as you pull vapor into your mouth. Do not pull the vapor directly into your lungs. Once you have pulled vapor into you mouth, you move your finger to allow cool fresh air in while you continue to pull and inhale the fresh air along with the mouth vapor.

Hash takes a higher temp to vape nicely and produce clouds. So heating the bottom area of the cap and heating slightly longer coupled with mouth pulling should bring you the results you seek. Good luck!

As you have already been told by several members of FC .. provide more heat, when you hear click start counting 1second, 2s and test if the results are scarce increase the heat 1s, 2s, 3s and try ... so until you hit the bullseye !

I smoked nothing but hash back in the day (not with a VapeCap).

As others have mentioned surface area and more heat will do the trick. Iv used hash a few times in both my Omni and my M simply to try it out. I heat past the click and make sure to rotate and heat the entire cap. I use a water filtration device; otherwise, be careful of hot vapor on your lungs.

I just heat more 2/3 sec after the click, and put the lighter more close to the M and now I have big clouds like you all said :-D

I want to thank everyone for the help and advices.

It's an awesome piece, when my friends saw me smoking on the M got very impressed.

The chamber gets quite hot on the concentrates setting, though I've never tried hash in it I've put quite a bit through other vapes and I'm sure it'd be more than capable, especially with the surface area increasing techniques described above.

The FF2 is amazing, the taste is great, but to smoke on the move, im not sure if the best vap for u. Because when we are smoking you have to pull the smoke from the vap betwen 10sec/15sec.. and is a bit hard on the firsts 50 times, and the baterry is a nightmare.

But excluding that is a very good vap.

I accidentally combusted (i think, because a smoke puff came out from the Vapcap) hash with my Vapcap.
Is it "safe" for me to inhale smoke from combustion? Or should i throw away the combusted hash?
It only combusted a little so i'm sure it still has plenty of THC left in it. So smoke it or throw it?
I would appreciate a fast reply.

A vaporizer doesn't have a filter which filter out the worst stuff from the smoke. Pipes and joints etc. have a filter i think

IMO, there is no sense in wasting good hash, if you partially combusted. I'd empty and inspect, and then load back in / squish with fingers to form a lot of surface area. Is there a black edge on it (combusted)?
Then heat again but be conservative, a second past the click, and try again.
You should be fine.

But, take it slow so you don't combust like:
1. a session at the click (or 2 clicks really that pop close). Get any taste, light vapor?
Wait for cooldown click and:
2. 1 second past the click and what happens
3. Cooldown click and 2 seconds past click... what's that like.
Avoid combustion by dialing heat level up slowly!!!

Note that it can put out a hit that almost seems like smoke as it's so damn thick.

My M lives in my portside and never combusts.

My Omni however lives out in the shop in glassware. I use a bigshot torch on that and sometimes it partially combusts.

I loaded it straight in cut in small pieces.
Yea a small puff of smoke or vapor came out of the VC. And at the same time the smoke started to feel more harsh, but not very harsh. So that made me think the hash combusted.
And also it took like 30 seconds of heating before it clicked, and atleast 15 seconds if i i put the cap in the flame (single torch flame), it made me worried if my VC has malfunctioning discs or something.
Every time i immediately stopped heating after the first click.

Vaped hash (several times) did look quite black, but the illumination wasn't very good in the room.

When i was cleaning the cap which has the click thing i scrubbed it a bit from the inside with a metal stick. But then i realised that maybe there is a membrane there, so i stopped.
Is there a exposed membrane on the inside of the cap? If yes: Did i damage it?
Edit: Apparently not because in this video at 1:34

the guy would have destroyed the disc.

Next weekend i will increase the total hash dosage to max 0,5 grams.
And now i know it's okay to inhale smoke from combustion (not ideal but atleast okay).
So i should get high next weekend. But have to wait a whole week until that, sigh.
