I’ve been working on this induction heater for a while. It began as a simple diy project and kind of developed into a minor obsession.
The idea was a compact, high capacity, and safe device. My focus was on build quality, user friendliness, repairability and more while trying to keep it as small as possible. It’s been an amazing challenge and fun project.
I’m putting this here to see if there’s any interest and maybe get some feedback. Right now Im trying out different coil and inductance combinations and deciding on final details.
I’m very grateful for the help and very inspiring and knowledgable posts especially from @TommyDee and many other OGs here on FC. Here it goes!
Specs:
3x18650 batteries
Balanced onboard charging, switch with on-off-charge
Modified ZVS module
Auto heatfuse and mini bladefuse
86x66mm/3.3x2.6 inches, depending on materials/design +-~1mm
Optional battery meter, fireled, magnet
