Induction Heater Heatcan

I’ve been working on this induction heater for a while. It began as a simple diy project and kind of developed into a minor obsession.
The idea was a compact, high capacity, and safe device. My focus was on build quality, user friendliness, repairability and more while trying to keep it as small as possible. It’s been an amazing challenge and fun project.
I’m putting this here to see if there’s any interest and maybe get some feedback. Right now Im trying out different coil and inductance combinations and deciding on final details.
I’m very grateful for the help and very inspiring and knowledgable posts especially from @TommyDee and many other OGs here on FC. Here it goes!

Specs:
3x18650 batteries
Balanced onboard charging, switch with on-off-charge
Modified ZVS module
Auto heatfuse and mini bladefuse
86x66mm/3.3x2.6 inches, depending on materials/design +-~1mm
Optional battery meter, fireled, magnet

Thank you! I have not decided yet on weather to create a website or using existing seller platforms like etsy. I wanted to share it here and see what people think first. I have many other colors and new designs in the works, here are a few earlier test units, not the best finnish on some:
edit: Its really hard to represent the colors in the pictures. The darkest one is a dark purple with shimmering silver/green depending on light. I will try and make better pictures with better lightening.

Price will be around 200$ depending on what options are added. But I wont be able to mass produce them. They are very much hand made and I have a regular job and a family to take care of. I love making these so I will be doing as many as I can without it overtaking my other priorities. But its also a fun challange, to try and figure out how to make/build them in the most effective way with what I have at home.

I'm really digging all of those colors you got. I love the shades that just glimmer and change depending on the light. What kind of run time are you getting with 3x18650s? And how many heat cycles can you get full extraction in?

Could you explain how this works exactly? I think I would be interested..
Its an induction heater made specifically for Dynavaps, but it would probably work with anvil and fmjs as well. Flip the on switch, insert your device and push the top button. I made a batterymeter that activates when the bottom button is pushed. The batteries are installed by the user.

Thank you! And more colors are incoming! Ive been tuning it so the final runtime/power is not quite determined. And the depth/model/material on the inserted device probably makes a big difference on those numbers. With the current setup Im getting 10-12 seconds on the first click and about 6-7 seconds on the second and third with a 2020/2021 titanium tip. I have not counted the clicks yet but with a ~3400mah battery its a lot! A rough estimate is somewhere around 160-200 clicks depending on the above variables.

Being able to pair well with an Anvil would be a differentiator. IH market is getting crowded so think about how you can stand out. The other biggie to my mind is ease of adjustability (which is where Flite PWM and YLL win points).

I know you aren't likely going to achieve economies of scale that a larger manufacturer can use to lower prices. But $200 is a tough pricepoint at this point without clear advantages over cheaper options.

But yes these colors are killer!!!

Thank you! Im with you and Im not done yet ;) I should probably have mentioned I live in Europe and we may have a different prices here compared to at least NA. Yes people can still buy the YLL or Wand, but with taxes, custom and shipping fees its quickly getting close or above 200$. Sad to see that Fluxer dont makes his legendary devices anymore, but wasn't the flite pwm priced at 225$+? If I can toot my own horn I would say the shape, design and battery capacity is what makes it stand out a bit from other options as of now.
edit: You can be totally right of course :)
