I think the little bit of residue left after concentrates could be just waxes and small plant matter from the concentrate. If you do dabs, do you not have to clean your nail every now and again and get the charred plant material off it? Unless you know the people making it and are doing super filter/butane -> ISO polar methods -> vacuum chamber, maybe rerinse in ISO and dried again type of concentrate making, there is always going to be some impurities. I find my dabs last forever in it too, even on 4 which gives bigger clouds, but understand, it's not a dab nail. You will never get a nail-type hit from any vap. Mind you the nail hits usually give me snot bubbles from 1 hit and 1 hit in my Haze will last me 20 minutes without coughing till tears run down my face, so it's a different experience, but at the end of the 20 minutes, my head is fuzzy, so I'm good. I find also vaping concentrates really brings out the CBD's of the strain and you end up more medicated than stoned. Dab nail, i'm stoned. All in how you use it and what you expect from it.

I've never had the opportunity to fiddle with concentrates but a lot of the comments I've seen here on the board (especially the great vid by @Vape Dr.) have got me really tempted to try and squish a bit of rosin and try to vape whatever results!

OK, I was just overloading it! I went to use my oil cart and looked inside at what must have been over 1/4 gram of unused full melt bubble hash. I slightly warmed it up and poured it out to use later. I was just heavy handed and put a huge ball for my first test run.
I just got 4 types of the best, most pungent nug run shatter I have ever had. I snapped a small dab sized chard off and put it in the can. I started the Haze on a fresh battery on setting 4. After a minute it heated up and I started to draw. Beautiful taste, nice little clouds. This thing works like a champ. ended up getting 15 hits off of that little dab before setting up down. I was baked.
The only downside I can see to my Haze is battery life and that can be remedied by buying more.
I get 1 long concentrate session on setting 4 OR 2 good flower sessions (2 bowls) on setting 3 out of 1 battery. I did expect a bit more from that, is this normal since I use settings 3 and 4 a lot or did I get a week pair of batteries?
Can anyone get more than 2 bowls on setting 3 out of their batteries?

Hello sir. If it's thick I would just drop a small dab in a can. Pads are only for stuff that is really liquidy. (is that a word? LOL).

Regarding battery, that may be a little less than expected but I typically sit on temps one and two so you are going to get less time on three and four. Yes you are right though. At least they can be replaced and charged separate from the unit.

Hi, Yeah it's only FB. Personally I am right there with you but from a marketing perspective and ability to spread the word it's hard to compete with the reach of FB. I will bring it up with my marketing department and see if there is an alternative but right now I am pretty sure there is not.
Edit: I stand corrected. I just spoke to marketing and they told me it's on our website too as a pop up when you first enter. If the pop up doesn't show up you need to clear your cache and reenter. I know Haze suggests we only use their 18650 Batteries but have any of you tried any other ones that work well? I am going to need at least 4 more at 2 bowls per battery.

I notice that VaporNation has a 20% off coupon. After tax, I could order the Haze and a set of extra carts for $226.71 with free shipping. Is this a good deal or have you guys found it's regularly on sale at other places for less?

They had a sightly better deal on Black Friday but thats a pretty good price there. It seems that VapeWorld runs similar sales a few times a year. It seems like they run sales every 3 months or so usually around a holiday. Youre only about $10 more than the lowest price Ive seen on the Haze V3, so youre really not going to do much better by waiting. One last thing, Haze generally price matches so if you want to buy direct from the manufacturer, you may want to have a chat with Scott402.

Well it been 2 weeks or so since I got the haze3 and so far so good. I've noticed that if I have dry herb I can start at the #1 setting and go to #2 after a couple of pulls. If I have a little moist herb I start on #2 and finish on #3. I do have some keef from my grinder I've been saving and wonder if anyone out there has any experience with keef in the haze? If so, any tips? Temp, how much to put in etc. the haze gets me ripped and am happy I made the jump to the premium vape on the market. I also want to thank Scott from haze for the quick and awesome response he gave me on the charger question I had. So far haze has lived up to their reputation here on FC.

I was packing it up for the day, about to throw it in a Crown Royal bag (I know, how cliche) when I remembered a Dime Bags Rollies case my girlfriend bought me this summer. It is a great fit! a nice padded case that has room for my haze, 4 extra batteries, pockets for extra cans, a small grinder, misc tools, plus a tray! I used to use it for papers and a spoon to travel but this is a much better use of my padded case!!
Now I just need a can holder, some extra dry herb cans and some XL batteries!

So I just finished charging the batts and my brand new Haze wont turn on 
It says not to use any other batteries, which sucks in this situation, since I've got plenty of those.
I've been using another (better) charger, could that be the problem?
