Discontinued Haze Dual V3

I purchased a used haze 2.5 from the classifid here a while back, and I'm not satisfied with its effectiveness. It definitely needs new batteries as the ones I have now seem like they are pretty much toast

With new batteries am I going to see improved performance over old/bad cells? I don't get much vapor production as it is now using the cans and conduction screen with dry herb.

Has anyone compared it to goboof alpha for vaping flowers??

Batteries have direct impact on performance. You should try it with good batteries. Especially with XL batteries. Performance is much better. If you purchased a used unit, you are assuming a lot of risks as it is but you should consider the upgrade program. The V3 is about to be released as all of us here are waiting for the word. You can get a brand new V3 for $99.00. Not sure how much you originally spent on the used unit but you may be still in the same price range. Free lifetime upgrade is well worth it.

I agree with @trevorzamani. My Haze came with a lemon battery that never worked quite right and died within about a week or two (haze took care of me). The difference in function between that and the good one was night and day.

Also, what exactly is happening? With more detail, this thread's participants could offer quite a bit of troubleshooting advice.

Well it just doesn't produce much vapor. It takes a while to get up to temp, then I get a few wispy type of hits and that's pretty much it. It also shuts off quickly, probably due to the low battery protection. My batteries go dead quick and don't seem to be able to keep the unit up to temp.

So u guys get better performance out of the XL's? Not just longer run times?

Where's the best place to get them?

Best place is directly from Haze. Go the the Cans and get $5 off (the XL batteries are an add-on to a can order w/ a discount)

I got the XL's and couldn't be happier, however, I had zero problems with the regular batteries, which I had been using for several months. So a "good" set of regular batteries should work fine - they just have less juice, and after a few cans, they take awhile to warm up. I do think that the XL's have a faster heat-up time overall - but I haven't actually measured it.

Far as actual vaping, once the oven is at temp, it should vape well with either battery. I use the cans exclusively, at temp 3, and those herbs are well vaped and I am well baked

I have been a Haze customer for exactly a year today and this thing still amazes me. I just got damn near a 40 min session no wax, So yes the vapor was very wispy at first but hey 40 min session, And let's not forget how tasty low temp vapors are. The only thing i did to get these results was fully pack with convection screen start on 1 and slowly work up to 4.

40mins is very impressive @Vapor Loop ,even with a full pack. Makes me watch this thread and news of the haze even harder. Great company +great product ,can't get better then that :)
I was one of their first customers with their original release. Every release was a big difference in terms of experience and quality. The customer service is always responsive, no matter what I ask. Looking forward to V3. Especially I am curious to see the maintenance improvements that several people mentioned before.

I'm with you here. I was an early buyer and Haze has treated me great at every turn. I have found each upgrade to me a huge step forward from a device that I quite enjoyed right from the first release.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for considering the Haze!

Fingers crossed but we haven't run across counterfeit units. The easiest way is actually just to get the serial number off the back side of the box. Shoot me a PM and I will verify it.

Otherwise if you get it directly from us you are guaranteed authenticity. Not sure where you are at but we can ship just about anywhere.

Please let us know if you have any questions on the unit or usage and thanks again!

Hey Scott, I know theres a moratorium on info regarding the V3. Still I do have a pertinent question. I am considering getting some new cans. Am I safe in assuming that the can will be fully compatible with the V3? I figured thats probably not something Haze intends to change but I wanted to be sure before I bought some new ones.
