Discontinued Haze Dual V3

It's official, I love the Haze.

Wanted to see if it could vape hash, not oil or wax or shatter, whatever you call it, just old school crumbly no melt hash.

As you can tell I still don't have a full grasp of the hash definitions/types, but the guy working at the dispensary said I couldn't use it in a vape and would only work with combustion. I said F that and didn't believe him, so I searched for the perfect affordable portable vape that could meet the challenge and my research led me to the Haze

In my opinion, Haze killed it. Truly impressed. Didn't use that much material at all. Put in a can so I could test and not waste any of it in case it didn't work. Also the hash was not pressed/sandwiched in some flowers.

Like a previous poster suggested, I did cut a screen to fit in the can and put on top so the hash wouldn't fly around. It worked like a charm.

Got about 12 nice clouds on the highest heat, not huge because that's not my style, but nice and visible. Had to cut the session short because was feeling mighty good enough. I'm a low tolerance guy not trying to get blasted to outer space

I really wish I had a scale because I swear it was like a pinch of salt rattling around the bottom of the can.

Another thing I was really liking was the easy draw. My other vape is a pax1 and that is like sucking a milkshake. The Haze felt natural and smooth

Can't wait to use it again!

In search of the best terps and smoothest vapor
I've been looking for an alternative to using flower with concentrates. I want to maintain the pure taste of the concentrate while using something to keep the mess to a minimum.

@stickstones turned me on to hemp fiber,(thank you sticks for pointing me to this option) and I've been trying that as a "cap" on top of my concentrates. This method definitely limits the mess. However, for me at least, the fiber is not 100% flavor neutral. I don't notice the hemp fiber flavor much at the beginning when the concentrate flavor is strongest, but a couple of hits in, the hemp fiber flavor changes the flavor profile.

For those concentrates where you want to enjoy the strain specific flavor profile, hemp fiber is not 100% flavor neutral for me. But it is an alternative to mixing the favors of multiple strains when your flower and concentrates are different strains.

Yay My My Haze accessories came 2 days early. Now I can enjoy them on 420 instead of receiving them on 420. Cans screens and batteries galore plus a new tweezers. I love the Haze tweezers so I needed to buy another. Now all I need is some Eds TNT stems and wong.

Is there a 420 coupon for Eds?

The Haze tweezers are my all time favorite vape accessory. I like to make a "kit" for each one of my vapes so I have everything I need without digging through a bunch of stuff. I have 10+ kits for vapes I regularly use and every single one have the Haze tweezers!

I have been circling around buying one of these for awhile now but finding it for 24% off sealed the deal. Looking forward to my new Haze. Ive been using a Pinnacle Pro ( which I do like ) but I wanted something with a smoother delivery. I cant justify the expense of a Mighty and the Haze looked like the next best thing. Cant wait to try it out!

I have to say every time i use my Haze I'm still amazed at how cool the vapour is considering how short and direct the air path is:clap: Some good design going on there.

And i cant compare the mighty, but the crafty is capable of being much less smooth than the haze, and the haze wins in so many areas compared to my crafty (although i still love it due to how much vapour it can produce in such a short space of time)

The haze is easier to clean, has changeable batteries (which you get two of,and a charger:tup:) it has two bowls, the tweezers oh the tweezers:love: you will find out just how useful they are.
And with the screens/cans you can use anything in there with ease, for smoothness (with flowers) IMO convection screens would be best then cans then conduction screens although this is something you can experiment with to find your preference.

So IMO if your looking for smoothness the Haze was the right choice

If you are coming from the PP I think you are in for a real treat when you get your Haze.

You get cans instead of bullets so you keep the ability to preload and swap on the fly. You still get multiple temp settings but I find the Haze temps to be set at better ranges. This especially because it offers a lower starting point which is more comfortable than the PP.

Of course you also get the dual bowl and user replaceable batteries which the PP can't touch.

I can keep going but I'm sure you did your homework or you wouldn't be here.

Congrats on your purchase and let us know if you have any questions!

Edit: Oh and Happy Birthday @Haze Vaporizers! One year since the original release. And what a year it was!

This will be my first quality herbal vaporizer, that being said what kind of life can I expect to get out of the screens?

I have had mine for a couple month now i think, and the screens are still as good as day one:tup:
They should last a good while IMO and a ISO wash will get them nice and clean if the get dirty. Because you don't burn them with a flame they will last a lot longer this way:clap:

Some extra cans could be useful if your going to use it outdoors, just for easy reloading.

Let us know how you get on with it:science:

On the UPS truck for deliver :D Can't wait. I ordered an extra set of each type of screens, extra cans, an extra glass mouthpiece, and the water tool attachment (hoping it will work with my Toro)

First test will be e-juice if my wife brings it to me while working (I work in a vape shop)

Ready to be done with the ashy taste of burning things!!!!!!

My bad, new to using forum format, I usually only use forums for searching and never post lol I will make sure to do that next time.
Also for some reason I thought Ed was the one making the wood stems for Haze, is it not the same?

all good, I did it too :p

and it is, I didnt notice the water tool attachment, assuming that is Ed's wood one? And I meant reg stem, I barely use my glass or ss ones

He makes a normal wood stem as well? How's the taste from a wood stem vs glass or ss?
http://www.edstnt.com/index_files/Woodenhazevaporstems.htm
Puffitup.com also has some of Ed's stems
http://www.puffitup.com/category-s/175.htm -shows all wood so gotta look through to see the Haze specific but theres not a lot to sift through

and I only used the glass once or twice so cant give a great comparison but imo its a little smother and just more comfortable. Also a bit more sturdy and fits a bit better than the glass

might have to snag one, gonna wait till I test the ones it comes with though. The water tool attachment is what I'm really excited about, hoping it lets me put my Toro back into rotation since someone broke part of the joint off and no artist will touch it to fix lol

So I just got home to my new Haze, whats the recommendation for burn off to get rid of the manufacturing oils and what not?

(would have edited last post but the option is no longer there)
