Discontinued Haze Dual V3

When I experience leaks it's not filled all the way at all. When I put in my shatter it is a thin layer that covers the bottom surface of the can. When it heats up the viscosity is more like a liquid and leaks out the hole on the lid when held upright. If it it horizontal there are no leaks what so ever.

I also own the pax and haze and IMO the combo of the two are unmatched!! If u can afford it I'd get both. My pax I use at work and my haze basically everywhere else I don't need to be so discreet. The pax is very stealthy to load and use and is exceptional taste and high for the simplicity of the device. Now the haze is like the Swiss Army knife of vapes it's so versatile. U can use the 2 different types of screens conduction or convection. Now the forum favorite that Scott came up with is the prepack bud in the cans for convection. If you also use concentrates the haze is incredible a dab that would be gone in one hit could last over 30min which I've experienced. U can also mix the bud and concentrates for a nice session too.

I recently started putting a screen on top of my bud in the can and place the silicone lid on the screen. Idk if it does anything to the vapor but I mainly did it for storage when it's in my case I experienced some flower falling out. Problem solved.

Can one of u guys try this and see if it makes any difference. I just cut the sides off the convection screen and use the bottom on the bud. Let me kno if u guys try it and what u think
I keep four cans in one of those small aluminum containers with just the silicone lids on and experience no leakage. I pack the herb in tight so there is really no problem.

How much are you putting in and what kind of grind?

I just grind it in my space case maybe it too fine but it's all good I feel that the screen adds a 4th side to be heated I'm prob wrong but it's sound good in my head lol

The grind I use is finer than a space case and it's packed in real tight. That is probably the difference.

I will try the screen cutout on top to see if I notice any difference in performance.

I just got my tracking code so it will be shipped out soon, let the waiting begin :)
I ordered it through "Vapor Seller" which got mentioned earlier in this thread, after failing to calculate a shipping cost there a representative emailed me an invoice directly which saved me over $20 in shipping to EU
It seems like they are or are affiliated with vaporizerUSA

The Paypal invoice I got from them said from "HAZE INDUSTRIES" and the Merchant is listed as
"Healthy Way
sales@vaporizerusa.net"

Also the website is made by http://www.atlantawebexpert.com/ who got acquired by Haze technologies according to their site here, which is separate from the http://www.hazeindustries.com/ which seems to be the same company but there is no mention of "http://www.hazevaporizers.com/"

Either that or they are drop-shipping straight from the manufacturers but with that web of links I think they might be connected to them :2c:

Yeah i think everything you buy Haze related got shipped/fulfilled by VaporizerUSA. They seem to be the main distributor. I got several accessories from different sites including Haze themselves and they all came from VaporizerUSA.

Yes, I inquired with Jamie from Haze and clarified the relationship earlier in the thread. Vaporizerusa handles all distribution for Haze regardless of how the order comes in but they are two separate entities.

Thanks very much for your responses. I'm gonna keep the Pax and wait a bit and then get the Haze too! You really cant beat the Pax for stealth. I tried my friends Pax last night. Kind of a tough draw but his was visibly dirty and gummy. To be honest, my biggest fear with the Pax is it running out of battery when I need it. Another thing that bothers me slightly is how hot it gets in your hand.
Any tips on that?
Also, is there a way to keep the smell down and what's the most efficient way to reload on the go?

Pax will always be harder to draw whether it is clean or not. Also at the highest setting, you may want to be careful not to take too deep draws as it gets hot on the mouthpiece and may start burning lips. My girlfriend is not favoring Pax for this reason alone and thats when we start fighting over Haze. These are my only two issues with my Pax. You will get used to it though. Load/unload is not difficult but cleaning is a challenge for Pax for sure. My battery started acting up on Pax after several months but it is still usable for sure and great for taking out.

With ur pax I recommend getting some type of screen to put over the flower. Either a rolled up circle bowl screen or this was recently recommended to is the concentrate pad for the volcano just have to cut to size. IMO it performs better and vaporizes the material evenly. And I use the cigar puffing method, keeps the mouthpiece nice n cool. As for the unit itself deal with it lol jk. I have a skin on mine n that reduces the heat a bit. Also I don't have a problem cleaning if u have pipe cleaners n ISO ur all set. I also use an extra copper brush used for cleaning my gun it's good for scrubbing the screen to make it like new also scrub the oven. I may over do it but I like to be thorough and keeps the smell down.

Sorry to get off the haze topic but any other questions check out the pax thread it's full of great info nd mods.

The wait for the haze is tough lol I have no doubt that u will fall in love with this unit like we all have here. Good luck bro

Go back and look at page 13 for my post on July 19th. That is what I use to store the device and my material. There are pics for both the Pax and the Haze.

My friends have answered a lot of your other questions.

Like Nick, I also use a skin which helps a bit but I only notice heat at the bottom near the oven anyway. I also use the cigar puffing method.

I keep mine primarily in low (but that kind of requires a fine grind) and I keep it clean! If the mouthpiece gets any kind of resin buildup in there it will make it hot, degrade the taste and impact the units overall functionality.

As for the battery..... just get in the habit of charging it daily. You shouldn't have a problem if you do.

Well there is a lot of info there!

Go to the vaporizer discussions link then click on the portable vaporizers link. There are a ton of threads on different devices. The Pax is one of them and there is over 450 pages to read on this one!

Edit button gone....sorry for back to back.....

So I went back to the glass mouthpiece cuz I was missing it and that proved to be a mistake. I broke the plastic piece around/over the O ring. For the owners out there this is the black plastic piece under the switch that shows you the symbol of which bowl you are using.

It was already cracked and I knew it would eventually break all the way but I was able to get by for a while. I think I cracked it pulling the glass mouthpiece out one time but the plastic hadn't broken through all the way until it was a bit sticky after about 10 or so cans. It didn't slide out easy like normal so I pulled on it with tweezers and it broke the black piece apart.

Anyway the unit still performs normally but the mouthpiece has nothing to hold it in now. I also no longer can tell which bowl I am heating because the symbols are gone. This of course without holding my finger over the bowl that is heating up.

So I contacted Haze to see what could be done. I sent an email late last night and received a response early this morning.

They offered to send me the broken piece so I could fix it myself, for me to send them my Haze and they would install it for me or wait 10 days and they would swap my unit out for a brand new one. The new one is supposed to have some of the new "cosmetic" improvements based on feedback from FC.

Well of course I opted for choice #3! Brand new/improved device!

I didn't ask to elaborate on the specifics of the changes but I assume it's the door and the switch. There can be no harm in a brand new unit so I can wait the 10 days.

Even though my unit kinda broke this is all good news to me. After all my unit still works since the defects are cosmetic and probably broken by the slight imperfection of the glass mouthpiece. What's important is they are listening to the feedback, making changes to improve their product and backing the ones out there now 100%!

What more can you ask?

I will get back when I receive the new unit to report on the modifications.

They seem to be selling well, the website now states they are sold out, glad I was able to order one just on time
"August 15th, 2014 - In just a matter of weeks, the Haze has already sold out, but will have more coming in shortly so stay tuned!"

They're also getting some publicity because the Haze vaporizer will be in the gift bags for losing Oscar nominees next year

Little update for you folks;

My Haze did receive some neglect as of late for several reasons:

First, my sick Davinci has since returned home, and I have been celebrating its homecoming. You never forget your first...

Secondly, I only have one glass stem currently and am a little fearful of something happening to it. My stainless steel stem is with Ed over at Ed's TNT while he is designing a wooden stem for me that I can use directly with a water tool. Ed is a real class act, and has informed me yesterday that he is planning to make a wood stem with a 14mm connector as we discussed, but will also be crafting a standard stem so that I can enjoy a retractable wooden stem when I'm on the go! I believe he'll be able to dive into it in the next week or two, more details later!

However, a few nights ago I was wanting to do a vape session, and I was feeling particularly lazy, or maybe just had the need to experiment. I wanted to use a whip, but didn't want to dig out and set up my Herbie because if I didn't pack it back up afterwards I was afraid my pup might chew through the cord (not usual behavior, but it has happened before with new cords and cables).

I'll try and take pictures in the AM, but allow me to describe my setup:

1. I took my silicone tubing from my herbalizer and popped out the little chrome mouthpiece.
2. Inserted my glass haze mouthpiece narrow end first until it just slipped over the wider end of the stem
3. Inserted my stem into my Haze
4. Attached the silicone mouthpiece from my Flowermate V (everybody should own one, the silicone mouthpiece has proven very handy for multiple applications now) to the plastic connector end of the Herbalizer
5. Cranked my Haze up to 3 and enjoyed rich vapor at settings 3 and 4 while the unit just sat nicely on my lap.

Lazy? Perhaps. Creative? Perhaps. Satisfying? Incredibly so.

And best of all...because this fit together so nicely I was able to attach the F-bomb to the Flowermate V mouthpiece and add water to the mix. The connection stayed very tight and I didn't feel the need to use both hands to ensure I had a good seal between the mouthpiece and the F-bomb.

This may end up being my new water-tool setup until my 14mm wood stem arrives.

If I remember after work tonight I will set it up and take pictures of my steps along the way.

I don't think they are in stock anywhere unfortunately, their website say it' s out of stock and they all seem to ship from 1 place, ebay was mentioned, maybe you have any luck getting a second hand there?

Also guys, I haven't seen this mentioned, they added a new picture with a purple and green version of the Haze:
mainimgv2.jpg

I don't regret getting the graphite over these other 2 but they're a nice addition, I like the colour scheme. I can hopefully almost start enjoying it, expected delivery is within the next 2 days :brow:

Yes....these new colors are one of the changes I mentioned a few weeks back. There are more things coming too but I will let Haze announce in due time. Looks like they ditched the white now too?

I am getting one of those new units and will report back on changes.

Oh yeah I did see your message on the changes and colours going to be added but meant it wasn't mentioned what they were and how they looked

I wonder what changes have been made, maybe they are just the changes that were made earlier to the hinges and the logo and the extra colours? (I hope the one I ordered 8 days ago is not out of date directly after arriving, but seeing as how you guys loved it and they already made those other improvements I'm not worried about that)

In regards to vapor quality and strength how does it compare to the pax and other vapes.
Thank you
