@Fightingteam i start st temperature 4. I let my stuff heat up for 20 seconds after the device gets to the proper temperature.

As for amount. It does vary. I never weight my dabs. It's most difinitely less than a .1 .1 tops on rare occasions.

Yes, I want to get in to some vapor-bonging and concentrate with the Haze. I can imagine the screens and cans will work well with kief and solid hash too?

I can't believe I slept on the Haze for so long, I know we can't compare vapes but I was going to get the Solo 2 for the same price point..I had a Solo before and just like this form factor better. I thought the cans and screens would be fiddly but the ergonomics(?) are nice.

I had the Haze in my car while I was at work today. It's been between 80-90 F in the day here, I kept the Haze in the glove compartment and it didn't get hot. What's best practice and precaution on the device in a car on a hot day, etc.?

Don't know of any issue with leaving it in a car. But I would
Be mindful of it. Could damage the batteries of anything. No different than a phone or gps.

just keep it out of direct sunlight... a had mine in the vehicle and it got direct sunlight... it made it really hot and it stayed hot for a long time afterwards, the battery held the heat...

So I just got my Haze a couple weeks ago and it's been working great but all of a sudden instead of heating only one oven at a time, when I turn it on it heats up both chambers. Dafuq?

Simple, send it back to Haze and they'll sort you out no problem.

Have you not joined us Haze-oh-naughts yet? ;)

Oh no sir, there's been no hesitance with me! I'm among the earlier adopters (pulled the trigger To celebrate our independence July 2014). I was just joking that both ovens heating simultaneously was a feature that quite a few had asked for and desired in the Haze, which many are looking forward to in the Merger. :science:

I was thinking to myself wtf... I remember conversing with you in the Haze v2 and 3 thread and reading your posts in all 3 too. I remember you being one of the first around here.

Haha and you're right about the ovens heating at the same time. No v4 just a little Merger happening. Merger she wrote! I appreciate your humor good sir.:clap:

I really do miss the original Haze crew and even more so the original employees that started with them in the beginning. It's sad they're no longer around. They all were really chill and didn't cause problems they solved them and with great passion too. Now back to suppressing my VAS until next month. Man oh man my checking account hates me. What to buy next, cheers!

Dishsoap not working to clean the silicone lid of the oil can. Neither is coconut milk. Anyone have a solution? Can't use ISO. Not recommended. Will hurt the rubber. I been going hard on shatter in this device and it's been great. The lid needs a real good cleaning.

..........................................................................
Are you using Dawn dish soap??
There are dish soaps and then there is Dawn.... It is truly the best at cutting grease/oil/ etc. Most others are pale in comparison!
I'd try that before looking at other option.

You could also try putting them in some very hot water mixed with powdered brew wash, that stuff works quite well, just be sure to wash thoroughly afterward.

Some guy on Instagram made an interesting comment about this device. He said the buildup under the heating element is nuts. Now what is it he is referring to? Cause now I'm not sure if I've cleaned mine.

There is a hole at the bottom of each bowl and I would assume it gets plenty of residue that is impossible to get at.

My haze gets a lot of activity. It's my daily. I do a thorough clean almost weekly. I noticed just now when cleaning the air path that the indicators to tell you which bowl is to heat up are now fading away. In maybe a year I won't be able to see the marking at all, primarily the filled in circle one. Anyone else have this issue or notice it after long time use? I've been using my haze daily since New Year's Eve.

I figured it out... if you pull the top lever toward the side of the vape with the light (open-able side too) that is the first bowl or solid hole bowl furthest from the lights.... if you push the lever away from the light that is the O bowl or hollow circle bowl closest to the lights...

if it's dark and I do not know which side is which I run my finger on the edge and feel for the side that the cover lifts ( you can feel the lip of the lid cover more pronounced on one side than the other). that determines which way to flip that lever for me anyway... I was blind in another life so darkness is navigable easily for myself LOL

Anyone use shatter in the v3 with a water attachment? I was thinking about this the other night. The vape has to be upside down which wouldn't that cause the concentrate to leak into the actual vape possibly causing issues? Cause when you use shatter you should always hold the cape flat wth the ovens facing up.
