I hope I was clear enough with my technical terminology before :)
When I say oven select thingy I mean the piece on the top that you slide one way or the other to reveal the mouthpiece and select which oven you're heating .

I'd give it a good clean down the mouthpiece airpath in both positions to be sure it's not a glob of oil or crumbs blocking the flow. The path from the bottom oven gets more build up with oil and crumbs ime btw. A cue tip and a few drops of iso alcohol will clear that it up in seconds, if that's the problem.

I'm sure the holes aren't working the way it's supposed to. I flipped the lever both ways yet the holes stay the same. I'm thinking the lever isn't spinning the tube to open the holes because the pathways is clear. Now my problem is if they will fix it under warranty as I bought this used.

I double check by moving the lever and the holes don't change so I'm assuming it's broke. I know the airways are clean but whoever moves in the mouthpiece area hasn't changed and now I'm worried it won't be covered because I bought it used.

Hey all, new to the forum. Just wanted to say, this was one of the best purchases I've made in years. The black friday sale was amazing. Grabbed a festival package and some more extra batteries. I'm set for a good year or two lol. I've tried other devices. I've tried other atomizer add-ons. None compare to this bad boy. The consistency in the vape is super solid. I would like to try the o-ring trick for the mouthpiece someone mentioned a few pages ago. It keeps sliding back down. like the rubber grommet at the stop has stretched some. It is such a minute, issue though and the only complaint I've had. It's also great to see there's a community here with access to company reps. I'm really glad I joined.

The Haze uses a protected battery which is slightly longer than a standard 18650. Your best bet is to buy the official replacements.
I am considering purchasing the V3 but for all of the videos/info I've seen, its always been stated that the V3 uses a standard 18650. This is not the case?

You're right, it is broken. The lever should move the tube so that one hole is open and the other is blocked. When it breaks like this, you can still use one oven by forcing the hole for it to the full open position, so even if you aren't covered you still have a decent vapourizer. You should contact Haze through their service request web page, not here.

Not a standard 18650, but a protected 18650.

I really like vaping co2 oil, or at least oil with that type of viscosity, without added terpenes, bought at dispensaries. These really work well with cotton based wicking, but want to move away from that. I know I probably won't be happy with the answer, but anyone have positive experiences/techniques with the V3 and concentrate oil (without the cotton wick)? Not necessarily looking for huge clouds ...

Well I just tried a deep clean.
Whoever designed this button needs a revision. I'm out of commission until I get a tiny piece of plastic... This button is unreasonably complicated.

Also the fact that I have been inhaling plastic is extremely concerning...note the melted plastic under the oven...notice the melted ribbon cable.

The more I think about it, this is a manufacture defect. I had complained about some type of gooey substance i was getting from the small holes under the oven the first month I have had the device....I think I'd like a replacement or refund after seeing what it really was i have been inhaling, this isn't good.

Wow that's an eye opener, I've had mine around a month or so and I have been getting air flow restriction when I am using the 3rd and 4th settings. When I set it on 3 it starts to get air flow restriction and when I set it on 4 it almost completely stops air flow like there's something that expands the longer and hotter it gets. I was cleaning it yesterday and I noticed something in the hole at the bottom of the oven so I got tweezers and pulled it out and it was like strands of fiberglass and I know it was not from the q-tips I used to clean it. Thanks for putting the pics on here Archaicrevival now I know what it is as I have been puzzled by this. I'm a little concerned after seeing those pics.

Hi guys

Alex here from Haze. Hoping to assist everybody here to the best of my ability. Please feel free to PM me for your personal needs. @Archaicrevival , it looks like your thermistors are fried. It can be due to several factors including overheating the device without proper ventilation, or due to a material failure (the fact that both of them fried, unlikely but possible). Please PM me so i can guide you through the warranty/replacement process.

@ShovelHead , the chamber holes are completely sealed with that silicone piece so it is not possible that the insulation can possibly enter to the airpath. I am puzzled by the description but if you are experiencing these issues, please contact me and i can personally look into them.

We appreciate every single one of you guys.

Woah woah woah -- what's the background to this? This doesn't look good at all.

I am glad that Haze is taking care of this. I do have been thinking about those pics in the last couple of days but I never had any weird taste during my use of the Haze Dual and luckily never noticed any of the symptoms you describe. Is there any theory about how this could have happened?

Ok I want to let everybody know that my problems in a recent post of mine " Last Thursday at 7:53 PM " is 100% USER ERROR. I paid a little more attention with my sessions since that post and I found that it was all ME. Haze Technologies produces high quality products and I'm even happier with my purchase of my V3 now that I figured it out. Thank You Haze! And keep up the good work!

Good to know. What was the error? So I can avoid making it myself.

Getting the Haze Dual back together in one piece can be very hard. The switch has a lot of really small components can break easily when getting disassembled.

I wouldn't recommend doing this. If you have any concerns I would contact Haze, I'm sure they will help you.
I agree with Archaicrevival, as it will more than likely void any warranty you may have if you take it apart. Contact Haze Technologies Customer Service, they are there to help their customers/Haze product users. I've talked to them many times and Haze Customer service is "Second to None!"

Thanks for the advice, I will hold off then. However I am very concerned with the melted components.

This is likely an isolated issue. The haze customer service is helping me resolve.
Can you elaborate on what happened/is happening?

If there is a chance the inside looks like this, I'm not using it.
