Is anyone else bothered by weed falling into the crevices? I just had fresh bud fall into an oven without a screen and a piece fell into the small hole in the oven. Can the back cover be removed? What screw driver do I need? I also have weed that has fallen behind the oven door, where the hinges attach (there's a big hole there). Also, the solid circle oven has weed falling in at the corner of the bottom plate. Where this goes I have no idea, some secret catching compartment behind the rear lid? Safe to say I want to try and open it up and look inside, any help would be appreciated. This would also be a great thing to address in the Haze Dual V4, namely small crevices and openings. Otherwise loving it.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am wondering about flying with the Haze V3.
I have purchased one and wanted to know if it is better to place it in checked baggage or carry-on.
It will be unused as I don't want to risk it on an international flight. I am flying from Los Angeles, USA to Melbourne, Australia.
According to this article by the FAA you MUST bring all vaporizers in carry-on, however I would have thought the opposite.
All help is appreciated
P.S. So pumped to use it when I get home!
Nope, I must say I haven't really thought about it or have had problems with weed falling in the the bottom air hole. I heard you could use pressurized air to blow it out. You can remove the back cover and there should be a tiny hole for the air intake. Thats where u should use the pressurized air.
Thanks Drexciya, I will bring it in carry-on to be safe.I think they are mainly concerned with the batteries and the explosion hazards that come with them. I always bring mine with me in my carry on.
Is a special screwdriver required or does the plastic honeycomb exterior webbing flex? It partially covers the screws and I don't want to crack it by forcing a small screwdriver in there. Both screws are partially blocked off with one of those "webs".
They will slowly degrade just like any other similar battery.Does anyone know of the Haze batteries keep their charge when charged or do the batteries slowly lose power when you keep them stored.
I am asking because I'd like to give one of my Duals to my father's wife but she'll only use it when she needs to. That can be tomorrow but it can also be in three months. I'm going over there tonight with a fully charged battery and she'll stow it away until the need is there and it would be a shame if the the need is there and the battery has drained
It's really hard to say. Honestly I have not tested it enough to answer. I just know they will degrade some. Maybe someone else has some firsthand experience.Thanx for getting back to me so soon. Appreciated as always. I understand that the properties aren't Haze specific, I was just to lazy to give it a proper search, I did one though but it wasnt conclusive. I'm going to bring a charger as well. Would a recharge once per 4 weeks be enough?
I'm asking because once in a while might be 6 months, might be three months, she'll have a bowel disorder. But I can't really put a time frame on it. I just want to make sure that when she needs it. It is ready to go.

BIG TIME. If you search my posts, you'll see I've ranted on at length on this very topic. My major criticisms are that:Is anyone else bothered by weed falling into the crevices? I second this. There are a couple of screws on the underside, underneath the honeycomb outer shell, which snaps out of place. There seems to be a lot packed in there, so don't dimsantle it unless you're a tech wizard or you have a lot of time on your hands.I'll have to get back to you on that one when I am home again. But to my memory you don't need a screw driver. I do not recommend opening it to get to the internals so please leave all the screws tightened. Once you open the Haze Dual completely it is very difficult to put it al together again.
Yeah I have a suggestion for the V4... Currently the most fine-grained scale we have for battery charge level is {0%, 33%, 66%, 100%}. And you can only view this when you take the battery out and stick it in the charger. Allowing me to see the charge level on a LCD display or something would enable me to better care for my batteries.Does anyone know of the Haze batteries keep their charge when charged or do the batteries slowly lose power when you keep them stored.

I am grabbing those little cans like candy now! just a tiny pinch and you are good to go... I picked up 2 of the extended higher powered batteries for this winter and so far I've noticed they have better heat up time and last longer than the stock batteries... trying out Ed's WPA 14mm wooden stem too and that thing is staying on the haze full time now except when out and I use the metal draw tube then.. I'm seeing a great future with this vape...
Instead of the super-sweet-extended-premium-hyper-battery, and the cheapskate-economy-class-battery-for-assholes, why can't we have just one battery for everybody (the good one)? (EDIT:I suppose because of this, at least in part https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Price_discrimination#Premium_pricing)I picked up 2 of the extended higher powered batteries for this winter and so far I've noticed they have better heat up time and last longer than the stock batteries...

I don't like the idea that I have to buy extra shit to get a good battery experience.
For the record, I still get about 3 15-20 minute sessions from each fully charged battery (the regular ones, that came with the unit), and I've had them for about a year. Which is about their performance when I got them fresh. Which is pretty good.
Stay tuned.I hope the Haze Dual V4 changes some aspects of this vape! I'd like to see:
What are other fans of this vape hoping for on version 4?
- Digital oven selection instead of mechanical lever
- Ability to use both ovens at different temps the same time. Imagine vaping two bowls of different strains, or one bowl of wax at temp 4 and one oven of flower at temp 1.
- digital temp control over bluetooth to set the temps for each oven.
