Does anyone know if Ed's water tool attachment available on VaporizerUSA. net is updated to accommodate the V3? The Haze Vaporizer company website appears not to be working properly, at least on mobile, so I can't order from them.

You could always ask Ed to make you a custom Wong in the meantime. He's a genius like that haha

Scott mentioned thell be a tnt adapter that will with both i think:)
Yes we approved a design for universal to the V3 and all prior versions.

We have also approved the design on the adapter. This allows use of V2.5 and prior Ed's gear (mouthpiece and WonG) with the V3. I really like this piece. It makes a WoW connection because the adapter stays in the until and the WonG stays in the glass.

So, I got the email from Randy at Puffitup about the Haze v3.0.... and, it looks good. Really good.

*sigh*

I need another portable like... well, okay, yes. Of course I do. I'm really liking the looks of this.

Everyone hold the intention that our house sells, yes? then I'll order a Purple Haze. :D

@Enchantre we would love to have you part of the family so I hope your house sells and you get that baby soon! Let us know if you have any questions!

In other news.....for folks that are upgrading and looking to register the warranty on the new units...... For the store purchased just put Haze Upgrade Program and for the cost just put $99. We keep track of all the serial numbers anyway but this will give you some added insurance.

One thing that doesn't get mentioned much, is how easy the Haze is to use even in the dark. I use mine for insomnia sometimes, and I can operate it in the dark safely, without getting out of bed. Not too many vaporizers can make that claim!

One thing I'd like to mention is how easy it is to clean the Haze. I also own a Pax and an Ascent, both of which have to be taken apart and cleaned often. Since I only use cans in the Haze, I never have to clean the ovens (unless a "boil-over" happens) and even that is a cinch to do. Cleaning the air path is likewise very simple.

I also bought a set of extra small brushes on Amazon to get into the tiny holes in the ovens as I'm a little OCD about keeping everything as tidy as possible. Even with that, my cleaning ritual takes far less time than it ever did with the Pax or Ascent.

I can't say enough good things about the Haze.

And the V3 has arrived! I had previously purchased a set of XL batteries from Haze so I was good to go as soon as I unpacked my midnite Blue Haze. It looks basically the same but it feels heftier and more solid than the V2.5.

The first thing I noticed was the improved battery door. It has a much smoother operation. Even after mastering the door latch on the V2.5 it still popped open on me occasionally. Time will tell with the V3 but it definitely feels more secure.

The next obvious change is the stem and oven switch set up. The stem works as advertized. Its now adjustable and seems to fit better in the chamber. It also fits the tubing on my Orbiter water tool perfectly. The oven switch feel much stronger on the V3. I never had a problem with it on the V2.5 bt it always felt a bit loose.

The oven set up looks pretty much the same except the chamber caps that are imbedded in silicon on the oven door are mounted differently. Once again they are more secure than they were in the 2.5.

Now to the can, which is what I generally use. The stainless steel lids are a great upgrade to the old silicon covers. They lock in place and secure your herb in the can, nicely.

I used to start my sessions with the Haze on heat #2 because I never seemed to get a good draw on 1 but I gave the V3 a shot at 1 and it delivered nicely. No big clouds but a very nice flavorful vapor. ( I used the glass stem, for the record ) After a couple of pulls at 1 I bumped it up to 2 and yep, theres the clouds. Nice cool cloudy vapor. Im not technician but I dare say that the oven temp is a bit more balanced and precise on the V3.

It seems that Haze listened to the people and made, not changes so much, but upgrades to the Hazes construction. They addressed a lot of little nagging issues with the 2.5, that makes the V3.0 in my opinion, the best portable vape available today. Functionally, it is not much different from the V2.5 but performance and construction wise, it is a big step forward for Haze. Nice job, guys! Hopefully word will get around and people will see that you dont need to go to Germany for an excellent vape.

ps: wanted to add that even though I pointed out various flaws with the 2.5 dont think that means it is an inferior vape. Its an excellent unit and I would still be enjoying it if the V3 hadnt come out. If you cant afford a new v3 and you can find a v2.5 for a reduced price by all means get it! Its still a great little vape.

Couple of questions for you guys with v3s...

I cant tell from the pictures but it looks like the v3s are not as concaved as the 2.5s is that the case?

It looks like the mouth piece will be easier to leave in the unit, for those that do, have you noticed if it gets gummed up or dirty while doing so?

Do the new steel can lids work better than the old silicone ones? I was never really able to get the cans to work with my 2.5..

Hey Donny,

The V3 footprint is identical to the 2.5. Only visible difference is the mouthpiece.

I will let others chime in on the sticky mouthpiece question. I am interested in that feedback as well.

Regarding the cans, "better" is also a matter of preference. That said if you mean are they easier to place and achieve vapor, I would say yes. With the silicone you had to know how far to fill and how to place the lids to get the best performance. Using an old or misplaced lid could get you poor airflow and therefore poor results. With the stainless all you need to worry about is keeping it clean. Placement is easier to get right because you just line up the groove in front and drop the hook inside the back of the can.

I'll think you'll like that aspect anyway.

The mouthpiece takes a fingernail to yank up, but I haven't had any more difficulty than that. For reference, I have cleaned my Haze V3 once since it arrived after 10-15 bowls and haven't cleaned it since (10?)

Also on the SS lids note: I personally find that they are a little too bendy. The hook that locks in is easily bent slightly out of place giving a loose fit that will allow the cans to spill if I'm not careful. But, once bent back into place it generally holds well. One other side issue is that I have found the lid to also bend a little inward when I pushed the lids in to make sure they were secure.

Minor issue in the scheme of things, but if the SS lids were a little more sturdy that might help? I think part of the problem is that they were designed to fit the pre-existing can design. To me they feel a bit like a bandaid solution to make the cans better for dry herbs. But the new wax lids I think are awesome for dry herbs, they are much sturdier. My only concern is that they might wear out with time.

Good to hear on the cans @scottg402 . I hope i can get them to work for me. Im sure i could have with the old lids with more practice.

As for the mouthpieces I noticed that the air path would get pretty sticky in there and caused me to bend the tips on the tweezer tool trying to pry and pull out a stuck mouthpiece. After that i never left one in the unit.

Im looking forward to trying the cans with the new lids. Good to hear the wax lids work for dry herbs as well.

As much as I love my 2.5, I'm super anxious for the 3.0.

I'm glad to see so much positive feedback for the 3.0! You know a vape is rock solid when people are talking about how much they liked the 2.5 before receiving their upgrade.

I'm assuming I'll get my unit after the beginning of October, which means I'll be recieving the Haze, a Zion, and grasshopper (if I'm to believe the website). happy Halloween to me. I'm just hoping for my treats early in the month!

Hey , I own a Crafty and a Mighty and would like to know how you compare your Mighty to the Haze. Which are the differences between the two?!

Yes very much agreed..i am really digging the cans..i mean these things are like instant vapor..so super convenient and tasty..to me the tastiest of the different cans/screens but i will work with the convextions screens a little more..i even got ahold of some concentrate and did the concentrate cans..big thanks again to @scottg402 for the putting me down with the cans..

My only negative so far is regular batts dont seem to last that long so i need to grab some xl and also i never had a previous incarnation of the haze so never used previous mp but i have big fingers and hands and its a little hard to grab the lip of stem and have to twist is as pulling up.. ut much easier if wait t heated..
