Still being a vapor noob, I've seen people comment that one should use a bright light to see the invisible vapors produced even after you think the ABV is cached. I usually keep a light nearby so I can check when I'm trying to conserve a bit, but rarely use it.
Today I tried a green laser pointer instead of my LED light. Holy SHIT! It's like watching the vapor streams in high-def! Good thing I'm not throwing away my ABV, there's a goldmine in my stash!!
Here's some pictures of what it looks like, I used a fresh load for pictures. But when vapor is produced, you can see a glowing laser beam, and when clearing the chamber, the beam breaks and you only see both sides of the tube illuminate.

Edit - here's a good picture of the beam once the load is producing mostly wispy invisible vapor - you can see a nice solid beam, and streams of vapor naked to the eye:
