american horror story is back!!! 
With three kids in the house I am usually stuck watching Phineas and Ferb (very cute), Annoying Orange (stupid yet funny), or Spider-Man and Avengers (I like those) - after dark when the kids are asleep we watch Toy Hunter, House Crashers, and Tanked. After my wife goes to sleep I'm a big fan of the car shows - top gear, fast and loud, overhauling, etc...

I've had a theory for quite some time, which I have recently been re-confirming;
Documentaries about space/particle physics/how the universe works are awesome, and being vaped makes them even better.
I've been watching
The universe (I only have seasons 4 & 5 right now, but I'll be getting the other seasons soon enough)
How the universe works
Through the wormhole
And I've just downloaded
Wonders of the solar system & wonders of the universe by Brian cox
And the elegant universe by Brian Greene
And I just read an article about the reboot of cosmos they're doing with Neil degrasse Tyson and Seth McFarlane
I think I'm gonna need to get my hands on a copy of the original cosmos
Anyone else got any good recommendations for spacey/sciences TV shows?

So I've recently been watching some eps of Seinfeld.
Still a genuinely hilarious show
Anyways, about a month ago I was watching it and was struck by a question my overly high mind couldn't let go of.
I've never really thought about the bit of stand-up in the show, but I kinda assumed it was "real Jerry" doing some bits that related to the show.
Then it struck me, are those stand-up bits "real Jerry" or "show Jerry"?
It totally make sense to me both ways...
So I tried googling it, but couldn't really find any discussion about it online...
Then last night I'm watching an episode where Jerry accidentally gives an alcoholic alcohol, and the alcoholic turns up and heckles him during one of the stand up bits.
So it's "show Jerry" doing the stand up bits.

I have probably seen every episode of Seinfeld 10-15 times and I still turn it on at 10pm almost every night, one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.
I agree I think it is "show" jerry doing the comedy of "real" jerry.
My favorite show at the moment is probably either boardwalk empire or game of thrones.
Has anyone seen that new show true detective? Started out slow but seems to be getting interesting.

agreed...this show is excellent.
Yesterday we ordered HBO just so we can watch True Detective! My son, who usually is able to "find" shows he wants to watch was striking out finding good TD files on usenet, so I had to break down and actually pay for it. We watched the first 2 last night and will probably plow through the rest this afternoon. Great show!
