Hi guys,

In my thread early on I remember some critisism about my products price point. Some members prefer lower priced all glass options. I'm glad to share my source for glass and hope it can be of use to members looking for affordable quality glass for vaporization.

I just got off the phone with my guy at glass blowers direct, he hadn't heard of Fuck Combustion and I told him I'd make a post as it could be a good fit. His name is Sam and he is a nice guy.

BTW: I don't get any money or anything from doing this but Sam presented my product at his booth at Hempfest and he makes quality stuff. I figured this could be an option worth exploring for the FC community.

Their simple GonG straight shooter looked amazing for $50, then I saw they have $19 shipping. And THEN I noticed the downstem is... non-diffused >.<
But, if you look at their classic beaker (also $50) it looks like that downstem IS diffused.

Tis a shame because that classic straight shot has a really thick base.
Probably could get it w/ diffused if you contacted them personally I suppose

Would be awesome if he would start making mouthpieces for the VXL for those that wanna hit it dry in a smaller more ergo form factor.

A short downstem really doesn't work well with the cloud I've found. You have to pull very hard because there is zero drag (the hydratube adds just enough necessary) and the hot vapor is very irritating hitting the back of your throat.

A taller dry mouthpiece, possibly with a curve, would help a lot at cooling the vapor just enough to not be too harsh.

I get a much better results using a hydratube dry than I do with my short non-diffused downstem mouthpiece.

Here are the details from Sam at glassblowersdirect.com:

* 65mm tube 5mm thick and standing approximately 7" tall with built-in showerhead downtube(firepolished).
* Top fitting is 18mm and can be used with or without a downstem.
* Side fitting is 14mm and is for the mouthpiece.
* The thick bottom base is approximately 4.5"

This one pictured is offered for sale at a special price of 139.95(just for fc forum members and friends).

The 100.00 version is basically the same minus:
* the fc sandblast
* and the slight bubble bottom(its straight)

I did my best to include everyones input and tried to keep the cost to a minimum.
I have other bubblers and accessories, which I think you guys will like as well.

For the discount, type "fuck it" in the block for 'coupon code'. :lol: Additionally, I asked Sam about securing the showerhead to the base, since that's something people have discussed. He said he could do that for no extra charge. :) Sam also said that shipping will be about $14.

Correction for current available options- 'fuck it' for bub w/logo ($140 version), 'no logo' for version without 'fuck combustion on downtube ($120). Sales ends on 10/31/12.

Personally, I'm impressed; it's a very nice piece of glass, imho. :tup: What do y'all think?

Wonder if he'd be able to change the mouthpiece, the way it is in the picture it looks like a circle instead of an oval. Not as natural to make a seal with your mouth.

But $114 for a reinforced showerhead is pretty awesome.
It does look like if the $100 bub did not have that bubble at the bottom, either the showerhead would have to be smaller or the bubbles would be pretty crowded against the glass wall tubing.

I couldn't get the discount code to work, so I've sent Sam an email. I also asked how much extra it would be to have my avatar added to the bub. :cool:

I really like the look of this piece and can't wait to try it out.

The green text is just a copy/paste of what Sam sent me over email (the white text is mine). I had asked Sam to try to shoot for a $100 price point. I don't have more explicit info than what is in the post; but, I believe that Sam meant that the bubbler in the pics is $139.95, but that he could get it down to $100 if a couple of details were left out (no "Fuck Combustion" blasted on it, and no bulge at the bottom). IMO, the extra $40 is worth it. :tup:

True story:

Sam didn't have enough bowls for my Steele Concept order, so he had his blowers blow custom stuff for the same price! Now that was some exceptional customer service.

EDIT: I'm really digging this piece. Think I might have to move some things around. How long is this available with the FC discount?
