You're asking me? I dunno, did they say? I don't remember... Sorry
I bet it's probably in here somewhere tho...
It's made out of trillium carbonic alloy.
Could someone illustrate exactly what the app does that improves performance?
I was not very pleased with my MV1 and decided to send it back for a refund. What could I expect to be different if I decide to take the plunge again?
3 weeks straight of solid performance...i mean its beautiful...so thanks ghost at least for me everything seems to be running really smoothly!
i posted a video of me vaping white angel OG at 410f fucking awesome
dude that sounds awesome can you post a pic on how that looks like O_O i really would like to try it out!!Soo...2 weeks in with the MV1 and I must say this vape is becoming one of my all time favorites.
I've been using a cut out screen for a crucible lid since day 1 and the performance has been excellent (I found that the OG Crucible lid clogs quickly and my AVB was always unevenly vaped), With the screen I get little to NO gunk build on the screen, even vaped AVB and airflow is perfect for me. The hits I get on Amber 2 and 3 are just amazing (I usually don't go higher than Amber 3 unless its Hash), Tasty, potent and nice clouds . I attached a 4 inch piece of Medical grade silicone tubing at the tip of the glass mouth piece and pushed the mouth piece all the way in for max clouds. I'm really digging this vape the more i use it.
Oh and my unit worked excellent before and now with the App

What about a DIY pod/crucible of sorts made entirely out of screen material? drop the stock crucible and screen for max surface area/material exposure. Might help with charring/uneven issues as well.I've been using a cut out screen for a crucible lid since day 1 and the performance has been excellent (I found that the OG Crucible lid clogs quickly and my AVB was always unevenly vaped), With the screen I get little to NO gunk build on the screen, even vaped AVB and airflow is perfect for me.

It's not about there being a problem or a need to modify anything it was just a suggestion for potential airflow/function upgrade. If it worked with the lid why not play around with the crucible as well.I have never stirred and I love this thing. I find some dark crispy bits but nothing I’m concerned about. Before deciding there is a problem, I would definitely grab the app. I haven’t felt the need to modify the unit in any way.
Wow, look at that bob the builder type stuff going on yo. LoL mannnn, I remember a few people awhile back taking pictures of the interior all heated up talking about how they could work with that.. now I see man, that's cool
As I follow the progression of what's happening with the apps on VLF, I came across this post that I wanted to share with all of you. It's a lovely, genuine post, imo. It was posted 5 hours ago so it's current.
"Hey all!
I thought I'd post this because I just had a super positive experience with Bud, and he's been getting a bit of negativity lately that I think is undeserved.
I bought the MV1 right at launch and live in Canada. I tried it for a few months with the hope that the new firmware would make it the right vape for me, but sadly it did not. So, I messaged Bud asking if I could still do the buy-back and he said of course.
I shipped it to him last week and it arrived on Monday. He picked it up Tuesday, and sent me a refund today for the price of the vape + return shipping. So, in other words, he completely lived up to his word despite us having no formal agreement and despite my having 0 recourse if he were to decide to not buy it back. He was incredibly communicative the entire time, completely understanding, and just generally nice to talk to.
So yea, at least to me Bud is a genuine guy. Some people (like myself) don't love the MV1, but that in no way means he is a 'shill' or whatever some call him. I now have full trust in him, and if in the future he offers some similar guarantee with a vape that he recommends (maybe the MV2, or maybe the vape he is planning to build?) I will likely get it as I will know that he will abide by that guarantee.
Also as an aside for any Canadians here yes, I did lose some money from taxes and shipping, but Bud was very clear when he offered the guarantee: he would cover return shipping up to $20 US and the vape. In fact Bud even went so far as to refund $25 of return shipping, covering the insurance that I told him was entirely optional.
Thanks for being so honest Bud, and thanks for the fantastic guarantee."
And a member response to this post was:
"Glad that despite your not liking a vape, you still like the person, and were kind enough to post here to tell us about your positive experience."
As I said I just wanted to share.
My door release button was so tough at first that I literally had to the Ghost down on a towel and use both hands, full pressure. After a couple of days, it got noticeably easier and now I can easily open it with my thumb holding in one hand. Not disappointed at all, Stoked so far.
Mine has been charged now for around 4 hours. Done 3 crucibles I believe, with 3 or 4 nice tokes a load, starting my 4th now.
Compared to my Mighty, it is smoother. Love packing about a 3rd or less of what I'd load in Mighty.
Compared to my Omni, with woodscent or cap, I would say those are more like the Mighty than the Ghost, so far I'd say the Ghost is different for sure.
It extracts and delivers, heavy and quick yet smooth.
Love that you can just move the glass in or out to get less (in) or more (out) draw; this plays right into the 15 second hitting cycle (how long you can hold button once it vibrates for you to begin hit), at first I was continuing to draw after the 15 seconds but by pulling mouthpiece out slightly further on the next toke I was done hitting at 15 seconds and holy heavy hitting(!).
The flavors felt sticky, remained in mouth and reminds me of a lingering super fresh green bong rip, flavors though without the harhsness or roughness.
Concerns I have are:
-the door of the crucible seems potentially at risk, just cause it is light and small.
-the button to open/release it is super tough and sometimes I have to use both hands with effort to open it. Assuming with some use that'll resolve itself.
-the unit gets quite warm in the hand after some tokes, on second load; hoping this isn't an issue and that I won't need more than 2 loads at a time, very often.
-unsure I'd take it with me snowboarding or riding my bike (gonna stick with Omni for such); durability even though it feels very sturdy?
@Stormsend -that is not cool. You are holding the button down and waiting for the second vibration (seconds later) before drawing, while continuing to hold the button down for up to 15 seconds more, which is when it'll stop heating.
I think the app has not been released yet.
My only issue is battery life. Maximum 55 draws. Two lights at 12. 1 light at 19. Flashing light at 29. How does this compare with others Here? Working with ghost great CS to solve this.
