I have no way of handling it without purchasing it. You have more experience with more varied vapes than I do. I have watched multiple videos and asked questions. I guess I am posing my questions in a negative manner to get you to talk about the positives of the device, if that makes any sense. Also, knowing whether you paid for your device makes a difference in credibility for me. I say nice things about free stuff and am more critical of stuff I paid for. Thank you for your time and I apologize if I come off as bashing. Obviously, even if I were blatantly bashing the device, I 'd have no credibility because I haven't used it. Seems like many very experienced people are very pleased with it.
I completely understand. Initially I was like whaaa...! But as you see I edited the comments like four or five times. Being from jersey means that I have a short temper. It's natural man. Yeah so, here's the thing about the ghost, when they say it sets a new standard, I kinda agree.
That's not a load of bs either. It's easy for me to dip in and out and take a few pulls here and there without wifey smelling it on me. Firefly I could do that with too but it had a tendency of smelling more. The IQ is a smelly brick. So is the Mighty. I've found that this device certainly doesn't have that reek and cools down much much faster. My bloodhound wife hasn't smelled this device on me. I've gotten into trouble in the past for walking into a room with the IQ in one instance, the Pax in another, the Mighty in another.. each time getting hell. They smell the whole room up. If it's a hotel and the airconditioning unit is in the front of the room near the door and turned on.. you just bombed the room. I haven't gotten hell yet with the MV1.
The on demand nature of the vape and the quality of vapor is what sets this thing apart from some of these other vapes. The draw resistance is either practically none or tight depending on preference. The stem part can't be overstated, it changes the dynamic of the draw. You can effectively get good strong vapor without having to do a full fifteen second draw by increasing the resistance.
Damn man.. yeah it's easy to get carried away and reiterate everything that's been said before... I guess for me it's this... It's convienient. If I want a step up session I can do a session. If I want to pass it around, I can pass it around. If I want a quick two puffs in and out type deal, I can quite easily without waiting for a warm up period. If I want to space my draws out over an hour or several, I can.
This device won't replace my IQ for discreetness or my Mighty for syphs where I have people that don't know how to press a button, but it certainly is my go to vape now 90% of the time right now.
Somehow it preserves the flavor terpenes thingamajigs. It has taste like the firefly has taste. The Mighty and Crafty have a plastic taste after using this. It's hard to describe, it's just different in a good way..
Initial demons have been worked out with this vape. It was good that they delayed bringing it to mass market. It was never the hardware that was faulty, or if it was, it was a small number. It was the software that hurt it early on along with user error. Temperature would sometimes go up and down so dragon clouds would sometimes come out in between normal clouds..
A whole lotta user error. I too found myself wanting to chuck the device when I wasn't seating the heatsink correctly and causing overheats. Quite honestly, It's not until you hold the device in your hands and feel it's weight, then that first session man.. that first session is what changes your mind. To me it was like the first session with the Crafty. I was like whaaaaooowwww as it was blowing my mind.
Here's the thing too, you brought up batteries before. Not having to send the whole unit in if you are experiencing battery performance issues is a great thing. I went through three craftys and now I'm on my third Mighty. Non-user replaceable batteries sucks. I don't care if it's from the same manufacturer or if I can buy my own elsewhere like the IQ. So long as you can take the battery out, it eliminates one more reason you would have to send it in. I hate sending my devices in. I f'in hate it. Wifey intercepts a box, that shit is gone.
