Android testing is slated to begin shortly. I'm assuming this week.
This is today's post by
@SirCrackKillaH on VLF about the iOS firmware update:
"Temperature fixes, battery life improvement, app access. I'll be honest with ya bro, I've been playing with this now since launch, this thing rocks. The update refined it and I believe they are further tweaking it before it's turned loose on the world. I've been able to rip this thing man. Back to back type hits on hand ripped bud on the upper temps and it's going... it's f'in going! No overheat. Without the update, sometimes you get those temp spikes on level 4 and 5.. sometimes even on 3. The update corrects it but it takes a little getting used to. You become accustomed to how one of these personal devices operates over time and any changes, you notice.
The vape isn't that finnicky with bud grind either. I hand tore last night and was getting good draws early on.. ratcheted that mother up to 4 and 5 and it was RIPS!!! I got put on my ass! You can do it without the update but it's more prone to overheat if your doing some back to back nonsense, this though... YEAHHHH BABY!
You can slow your draw a bit to build temp. It acts kinda like a firefly in that respect vs a mighty or Crafty. It's an immediate noticeable difference depending on your draw and how you build on each pull. The more I use the MV1, the happier I am with it. Battery life is improved too. After playing with it a bit on full charges to depletion, there is consistency with the pulls up to the very end vs. at the two led battery mark. Cool stuff bro."
