I was just surfing the site and this came up as a suggested item while looking at the MV1. If it doesn't work, try logging into/creating a ghost account first. Was that from an email? And when ?
Thanks!

Good for you, nice deal!I just pulled the trigger on an MV1. Great deal for $125, but is not the 4/20 special with the crucible dispenser and a bunch of crap. I figure if I like the vape, I'll spend the $30 for the crucible dispenser later. I've been waiting to make this purchase hoping for batteries to come back in stock first, but starting with the basics at a good price works to0
I'm planning to buy a mighty for 4/20 so that I have something to compare the ghost to, and would rather invest in accessories for the vape I like better. I like the crucible caddy and crucible sleeves from https://delta3dstudios.com/portable-vaporizer-accessories/ghost-vapes-mv1/ more than the ghost dispenser version anyway...Good for you, nice deal!
IMO, you should get the extra crucibles right off the bat (I can’t remember if the Ghost comes with one or two crucibles to start) because otherwise it gets tedious really quickly. The lids need to be cleaned every 1-2 loads and it’s a much better experience to be able to have several in a row without having to stop to clean.
I guess buying extra lids instead would be another way to have backups and is a cheaper option.
Just my opinion- YMMV.
Either way, let us know what you think.
i need to give an overdue review myself... now that I have some extra time on my hands, will get on that shortly!
I used to load of a ton of crucible's before getting lifted on the MV1. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten high and then fumbled a crucible across the floor spilling my herb all over. This thing, while dope has too many moving pieces and in my haze it gets to be a bit much at times
It is not the best vape for beginners...or lazy fuckers that can"t be bothered with maintenance. This thing, while dope has too many moving pieces and in my haze it gets to be a bit much at times

I too have consistency issues. Some days I get killer hits. Others, with the same approach, I struggle to get any vapor. Very weird. I would say keep it fully charged at all times. Works much better that way....any loss of battery power really degrades performance.I loved this vape when I first got it. The vapor flavor and quality was better than anything else I had tried. It kind of went downhill for me after that. Inconsistent results, consistently, even after reading usage and cleaning tips/tricks repeatedly. It went to the back of the batting order. Probably, more like “benched”. My Mighty and Pax 3 are nothing, if not consistent, as compared to the Ghost.
Anyway, with that all said, I gave it another chance recently. It worked very well. The one thing that I changed, was the amount of herb in the crucible. I used to pack it light, I thought. I would kind of fill it and then very gently, tamp it down and put the lid on. For the recent use, I packed it even lighter, with no tamp. Just kind of sprinkled it in until full and then put the cover on. Hopefully, this will lead to consistently better results.
It really is kind of fiddly....sometimes it takes me ten tries to seat the damned crucible in the hole. This thing, while dope has too many moving pieces and in my haze it gets to be a bit much at times
Wow great inputs buddy thanks a lot !@Limbwalker
The bluetooth drain drives me a little nuts at time, this has been something we've been waiting on a fix for...ever. All I want is for the MV1's bluetooth to only be activated once you hit a buttton and then to time out after a few minutes of inactivity. This should be able to be toggled and with the apps basically scraped while we wait for a universal web app for iOS and Android users I'm not holding my breath anymore. I've come to really hate apps especially after the ban on iOS which ended up screwing Android users as well. If a MV2 ever sees the light all controls should be accessible from the device. Rant over, I'm grumpy this morning.
I asked about the ABV because it sounds like you're experiencing "tunnelling". This isn't something unique to the MV1 but coming from a Mighty or Pax who have a good degree of conduction heating (all in the Pax) you wouldn't have had to deal with this before. The best way to solve it is to slow your draw. Try slightly pushing the mouthpiece into the device from the recommended sweet spot to add a little draw resistance if you need to. Sometimes regulating your draw strength can be tough, at least it is for me. I feel like I'm barely sucking when I'm doing it right.
For packing crucibles this is my only method:
1) Medium grind (a BCG in my case).
2) Scoop some flower so it's overflowing.
3) Tap the side of the crucible to settle everything.
4) Remove any flower that is sticking out the top of the crucible.
Some prefer a more fine grind but I experience more hot spots. Some prefer a more coarse grind but I find that doesn't yield a desirable amount of vapour in addition to hot spots. I don't like use my HerbRipper XL (only for the MV1) because of the medium-fine consistency; I've found the MV1 picky in this regard for the best results. If you stir your crucibles mid session this won't be much of an issue. Your flower's humidity level and strain will play into this as well. Sometimes I have to let my herb dry out a teeny bit after grinding or I'll load up crucibles and let them sit. It's varies. I like the tap method because it settles everything in the crucible eliminating air pockets that create hot spots. If you don't remove the excess you'll push your flower down which will reduce air flow and gum up lids faster.
Do you have a little brush like those made by Storz and Bickel? I brush out my crucible after each use and then give them a quick blow. Lids definitely need the brush and I only use them a few times before I'll give them an ISO clean. @Djsleepy loves his ultrasonic cleaner if you happen to have one of those.
Until I developed a very strict pattern of loading, using, and cleaning, I was never able to achieve consistent results. Not everyone would agree with my findings though, they're just the best for me.

At the end of a session, I pull the battery and re-insert. This puts it in shipping mode and disconnects all power from BT radio.
ive been using it at max temp
I know ..i meant 2 red...tried the concentrate mode had decent results with shatter ( bho) but it seems to gunk up the device pretty fast as well as being hard on the batt...Have you got it on 3 red LEDs?
If so, that's concentrates mode.
I am an Android user and I have no problems with the Bluetooth control and actually like the battery trick for turning off Bluetooth as I put my battery on the fast charger after each use rather than trying to remember button pushes.the ban on iOS which ended up screwing Android users as well
