After u load one, finished vaping, lasts u 2 to 3 hrs, by that time the crucible cooled off, this is meant for one person use not group, but yea the crucible could use a redesign to have a easier reload, and have preloaded crucibles would be handy imo

I'm not too concerned over a little conduction. It's only going to get so hot, and even with high heat retention, the temperature is still going to drop as soon as the draw is done. It's on demand, not a session, so the heat won't be maintained, it'll be lost.

Look at the area around the crucible tray, also metal. The casing is metal. The heat sink is metal. There's going to be quite a few parts also drawing heat away from the crucible.

Besides, if it's a concern, just take a cold draw or two to cool down the crucible in between hits. I see this as a non-issue.

It will be extremely funny if this vape does turn out to be the next big thing. Anyways, time will tell... What I always do is wait until it gets into numerous reviewers hands plus certain consumers who's opinion I highly respect. Until then... we can only speculate.

Yeah, same. Tho I say that, someone pointed out the other day I've been an early adopter on a chunk of the vapes I've bought which I guess makes me completely full of shit :)

Talk about bad karma...yesterday I asked the question which vape (mv1, haze square, maybe mighty 2) I should wait for and guess what happened? The grasshopper, my latest acquisition a few months ago, died on me today which only fuels my insatiable VAS.

For crying out loud, I need something to come out already!!!:bang::rant:

Grasshopper has a lifetime warranty, so I'd get started on an RMA... quickly! :leaf:

It will be even funnier if it's the opposite.

I don't think this can be the next big thing no matter how well it works. At best this can maybe be a portable evo? But with the chamber not snapping in, and having a digital read out, just don't see it happening. However, if/when a Ghost 2 is made, all these shortcomings can be fixed easily.

Been quietly following that one too...it looks pretty bad ass but it's just a little too bohemian for me. The mv1 is at the high end of the sleek and sexy spectrum while the tubo is at the other end. If both worked the same, I'd choose the mv1 cuz it's more my style. Sleek and sexy just like me ... :p

The Tubo, Milaana, FW4, et al and all other handmade vapes are works of art. They are lovingly produced by artisans who love what they are doing and not in some third word "sweatshop" by children or other low paid factory slaves. The MV1 looks like a kids toy or something a woman, or man may use to pleasure themselves in an orfice thats not the mouth. IMO

I have been following the discussion and in my opinion no one is addressing the "elephant in the room"

How many of us on FC have had good experiences with pre-orders? I bought into a pre-release of a convection vape that was to have 40 minutes of use between charges. In reality, 16 minutes (4 4 minute sessions). I spent $220 for a vape that can be bought new for $100 10 months later.

How many folks gave money for vapes that have not been delivered for 2+ years?

Regardless of any endorsements or not, I want to see how it's reliability is when used in various configurations.

S&B, a company that is at the foundation of vaporization had reliability issues, but with S&B there was no concern that they would not fulfill their warranty obligations.

IMO this is even riskier with a new, untested company.
There was a point in time when S&B was a new company...

I just wonder how to workaround the digital mambo-jumbo privacy issues regarding to app control and registrations. If I buy a cheap smartphone without SIM, dedicated for only my device, will that work without my facebook/google etc. bonds?

The Ghost has issues going live with their site, they have said they will not launch today, more likely sometime next week. This is disappointing, especially with the surprise release of the Arizer Air 2
