I got Watch Dogs on PC today. Arcade racing, and basically GTA with shitty controls and an XP system for levelling up..

Strangely very fun though, and the graphics are not bad. Poorly optimised graphics (I can get better graphics in Hitman Absolution and Tomb Raider) but still looks nice on a high-end system :)

Got it as well, on PS4 though and yeah it's not bad, main story is interesting but most side missions feel like tasks, not as fun and huge as a GTA but I guess Ubisoft are just building their new franchise, there was too much hype on this one imo.

What I'm really REALLY looking forward to is (and there's a lot of hype on it too apparently) No man's sky. Just look at that it's fantastic!

It does look nice! E3 is a wonderful time of year for this type of stuff. A bit upset that there wasn't an announcement for the new Hitman game yet :( Or Silent Hill.

or.. Fallout 4.

Wishful thinking I guess. Half-Life 3 anyone?

I've been playing a lot of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition lately. I know it's old, but I'm not much of a fighting gamer, and a diehard Tekken fan, so I waited until it went on sale for next to nothing before picking it up. The Story Mode was surprisingly good for what is generally a franchise more about tits and gore than quite a few others. The Challenge Tower, in my opinion, went from laughably easy to absolutely insane somewhere around the 200 mark. I think I'm at 220 / 300 now: the last act of Shaolin Monk, pitting you against Shao Khan, and Kintaro as a tag team. I'll be here for a while .

Has anyone on here played the latest Thief game all of the way through? It's currently half price on Steam, and seems like it offers pretty good value at that price point, in spite of the mixed reviews...

I couldn't get into the new Theif, but I guess my expectations were a bit high. It's more linear than you would imagine but the graphics are nice. I liked what it was trying to do, but it ended up making me want to play Deus Ex Human Revolution again because I feel like it did the stealth gameplay a lot better.
And new mortal kombat game was announced as well dude!

Vapes on vapes on vapes!
I have an Xbox One so I'm struggling to find a good game to play at the moment. I rented and beat Ryse: Son of Rome and liked it a lot. I like the multi-player when you are on the right game mode and map. I'm looking for a new game though. I suppose I could coast it out on Madden, NBA 2K, and Titanfall. I'm a little sick of the first two (Madden 15 comes out in August!), but never got too in to Titanfall. I also bought it after a lot of people stopped playing.

The last game I completed that I was really impressed by was Bioshock Infinite. I know that some of the people who had played the previous Bioshock games didn't like the direction of the game, but I hadn't played any of the other games so I held no story lines or concepts sacred before playing the game. I thought the story line was very fun for one play through. They remade some songs to sound old for that game also which was awesome once you realized what you just stumbled upon. I haven't played the game in over a year, but I still listen to one of the songs made for the game because it really reflects what the characters were going through. It is also just a nice relaxing song to vape to and do some thinking.

GTA5 on Xbox One looks fantastic if you can be patient enough to wait till the end of the year.

It's such a new console, there isn't much yet. It'll take off though :)

There is a great western FPS on steam right now called Fistful of Frags. (it's free) I was into shooters a lot around CoD 4 and W@W but then the simplicity of the mechanics and the immaturity of the community drove me away. Then came CS but it's entertainment value faded as well.

Fistful of Frags is like a breath of fresh air, each weapon is carefully balanced and comes with it's own sets of drawbacks. Powerful weapons give less points, more "Gentleman" weapons (six shooters, fistfighting, thrown knives) give more points.

I have been having a load of fun mastering the different weapons and the thrown knife mechanics. Any one who was a fan of CS:S and twitch-style gameplay should forsure check out FoF, its free and only a few GB!

waiting on my BF Hardline email to try beta. Looks interesting to say the least.

+1 for the Fistful Of Frags recommendation. I only played one game just to check it out and am quite impressed, lots of servers and the game seems "fun".

dloaded it ... its fun , but man i suck . I've become overdependent on my smart - pistol mk5 .
for anyone who's interested Titanfall is available for a 48 hours for free . its the full game dload that will work for 2 days after you first play . The game is set up such that you prob won't unlock all of the cool stuff in that time period , but it might be fun to try .

Its a great fps with big walking tanks ( a personal fav ...) and i highly recommend it as being worth the time to dload ...

I cant stop playing the dark souls series.
Dark Souls hooked me, line and sinker. I played through it with a Knight, and I honestly haven't had that much fun playing a video game in years.

I really want the second one, but I will probably wait until it goes down in price. In the meantime, I really should get Demon's Souls now that I own a PS3, but I still cannot believe that it is priced at 19.99$. I suppose it just goes to show you how awesome this series is, considering how well it has retained its value.

Personally, I am getting back into Terraria now. I got frustrated fighting the Eye of Cthulhu, and shelved it for a while.

I also picked up Counter Strike: Global Offensive during the Steam Sale, and I am fighting the urge to get too involved with that one. It used to be an 8 hour a day battle back in the Source days...

Did you know they announced the next game in the souls series? Looks like it's another PlayStation exclusive like Demon's Souls was. I have spent so many hours, weeks, days, months, playing the souls series. You're completely right on the fact that these games hold their value very well.. challenging games will always win me over... if im not yelling obscenities and smashing a controller into bits then its not the game for me.
Oh and my last play through of dark souls one was a caster.
