I've been playing Starbound, it's like No Mans Sky x Terraria x Stardew Valley.
It's real fun. There is some wonky quest line of a story, but I've just been piloting around and getting resources, gonna start building a little settlement soon on a planet I liked.
Lot of fun though, I've played like 6-7 hours and have't even left the system I started in
If you like this kind of game, check out Rimworld. I'm not usually big on early access but this one's the real deal, already more of a game than most full releases.
Amusingly to us perhaps, the most recent update added a full drugs system to the game, so if you care to you can not only toke up but grow and sell weed (and beer, cocaine, etc) as a cash crop.
i just started playing the mass effect trilogy for ps3 . i missed out when i had my 360 so much cheaper.when i finish im going to get the witcher 3 , dark souls 3 and i have to finish arkham knight.
the ME trilogy is my favorite games EVER besides Morrowind.
Oh god.... I remember those little stories they'd hit you with.... immortality is the worst.Still playing Lost Odyssey, a JRPG, on a 360. I've never had any game bring me to tears before but this one does. Sucked me right into the storyline.
So here's an example of what I mean. The main character is Kaim, a person who is immortal and has lived for thousands of years but has lost all of his memory when the game first begins. Every once in awhile, he has faint memories of his past and those memories are presented in little short stories. They get unlocked as the game progresses. Here is but one of them.
The game is a Japanese game and the stories are written by Kiyoshi Shigematsu (and translated by Harvard professor Jay Rubin). The game as well as these stories have a very Japanese feel and sensibility to them and gives rise to the question, is immortality really a good thing or is it a curse having to experience the lives and deaths of hundreds of your wives and children.
Take the time to soak it in.....the music, the sound effects, the fading words, etc, etc. Just take a bit of quiet time and watch but before you do, I strongly suggest that you blow it up full screen and get out a box of tissues.
