Yea, the Souls games are cool. Actually a throwback to older game design with the harder difficulty/tougher combat, no quest compass showing you where to go all the time, ect..

I feel like souls is the type of game that NES Zelda could have evolved into. But Nintendo went a different way. I like both series

Just finished Just Cause 3. It's buggy but very fun. Grappling hook to a building accelerating up and past it then open the parachute then then instantly change and wingsuit across the countryside then grapple a helicopter to plant a bomb then jump off and detonate as you fly away. So much fun tethering things together with the grappling hook and making them fly around with the rocket propelled bombs. Funny but meh story and main missions, but screwing around was so much fun. Great DLC so far too.
Doing Division Coop and Dying Light single player. Dying light is amazing so far. Being a super agile parkour weapon crafting zombie killing machine is great. The grappling hook and just being able to jump and climb really changes it up. Great combat and great exploration so far.

I've been playing a lot of Stardew Valley and a game called Planetbase. Pretty casual, but with finals here and stuff, I haven't had much time for games. Once I'm done the semester, I plan on playing through the Dead Space series at like an 8.

I liked them all, but loved the first one. I loved the pistol and wide angle one (shotgun?), the two line guns. Having to really aim and place your shots to get their limbs off was cool. The steampunk neon space doom look was cool too.

Overwatch was really fun, but my laptop really was getting hot while playing it.....it's 4-5 years old so guess it's just getting around that time.
Still haven't reached the Nuclear Throne. 40+ hours ;_;
Been playing Final Fantasy IX.....I slept on this one growing up, definitely didn't play it as much as the others. Been VERY much enjoying it, has a lot of charm, music is awesome too.
Saw on steam FFX/X-2 was released and is on sale....had to get it. FFX is the last great Final Fantasy IMO. It forces you to get it with X-2 though which is disappointing.
Got a game called Democracy 3 awhile back, it's pretty fun. You run a government. I haven't screwed around with it too much, but I have played games as both the leftist of the left and the rightest of the right. When I was on the left, I banned all guns and people loved me, fast track to reelection........then was assassinated by a guy with a gun!
+1 realism. When I was on the right, I was despised and couldn't get reelected for the life of me. It was pretty fun though, and will give it a better shot sometime with a more moderate approach....I purposely was going to the upmost extreme in both my playstyles. Think it's like $15 and goes on sale all the time

I play soldier mainly, recently got a trippy unusual hat (rare kind of an item) for him
The Outback Intellectual is a good cosmetic for sniper, it has a pipe with smoke effect with it.

Battlefield 4 on ps4, i only play hardcore golmud servers. Bo3 is whatev, I'm not giving a shit about it. Got the season pass but I still haven't dl'd the new pack. I was so into the previous versions of the cod zombies... so many hours smoking and playing 3-6 hour zombie matches. Not really feeling these new maps, i know they had to refresh the cod zombs...
Battlefield 2 was the first 360 game I played, as clunky as it was that was the shit to me. BF2 bad company was legendary, that's the only battlefield I was exclusively recon class with the Val, they completely changed the snipe mechanics after that. Now I'm in the tanks raping, shooting down jets, running over the noobs. (Sabot shells, HMG, active shield, thermal optics, autoloader).
Got a ps4 in october...now that's soon going to be obsolete. The ps4/xbox one were supposed to come out in 2011ish but the economy taking a shit delayed it no doubt. I hope the next ps4 has some kind of module setup so u can just upgrade components easily...or maybe streaming games is the future the cloud does most of the processing....takes a hit...

They say it's going to be released in the fall...so this gen of consoles lasted 3 yrs exact...sucks for people like me who waited for the price drop and the more optimized tweaks...they have to have some kinda really good trade up program for those that want the neo. It's possible Sony won't do a ps5, all the R&D that goes into a new console is staggering, its makes more sense for them to upgrade the specs on a proven console.
