Dude I play so much better high I cant play sober, I have so much more patience and am alot less impulsive. I'm pretty damn good my Kill/death ratio is 2.58 all hardcore TDM. I run with a nasty squad we rarely lose, my win/loss ratio is like 25.00 and most of the losses are from getting booted for accidental team kills . We are always looking for good players to fill up a team, its so much easier running with a squad that communicates and you dont have to worry about that random idiot on your team going 1-20. I also fucking love some of the epic shit talking with little kids and fools who think you cheat because your good, honestly the trash talk is half the fun sometimes. I will try and remember to shoot you guys a friend request next time I'm on.

I downloaded a few games on the wii u virtual console. SuperMario world(one of the greatest games ever made on snes or any console)So many obstacles,and the controls are so tight! . Mega man on nes(soo hard) and kung fu bunny(indie-couldnt resist that 5 dolla holla)

I'm playing a lot of sports games lately. Have weened down off of Madden and have been playing more NBA 2K13. Feeling nice and vaked at the moment so I'm gonna play some Trials Evolution (Xbox Live Arcade game). If you haven't played it I'd recommend trying the demo it's a fun game.

A lot of awesome games in this thread. The first games I really got into wolfenstein ET and CS:Source, that's if you don't count hours upon hours of mario when I was younger. Online multiplayer totally changed things for me, it's just so much more superior than most single players. Anyway I played CS:Source for a few years, got semi-decent at it and even played in an EPS season in ESL!
Unfortunately this all kind of had to stop ever since I met my girlfriend and moved in with her
But since then the game Ive really enjoyed is GT5 on the ps3. Played this for a year or so with a Logitech G25 wheel and pedals, which is such good fun, I also played iRacing and rFactor for a bit. Recently i randomly decided to buy a Nintendo DS and a flash card for all kinds of games and emulators for nostalgia. So I've been bombing it about on mario kart DS for the last couple weeks. Hopefully one day I can get a good set up going and get back into PC gaming as I miss it s much.

Awesome free-to-play (not pay-to-win) FPS.
Probably has the highest skill ceiling out of any game, but it's also one of the most rewarding. The have every kind of weapon, projectile and hitscan. 9 different classes, shit ton of different weapons. Main game is capture the flag, but there's also team death match, capture and hold, rabbit, arena etc.
This game is all about speed, going fast, skiing, and jetpacks. It's fucking badass and it's the best game I have ever played, and I have been PC gaming ever since Wolfstein-3D came out for DOS.
There's also vehicles in the game if that's your kind of thing, tanks (beowulf), space ships (shrikes), hover bikes (gravcycles).
If you're into hardcore, fast paced, badass, skill based FPS's, nothing beats Tribes. Once you get your first mid-air, you'll be hooked.

Has anyone played Metro Last Light yet? I've only played for a couple hour but so far the story line and immersion don't even come close to the greatness that is Metro 2033. Ammo and supplies aren't as scarce, and its a lot harder to die. I'm hoarding ammo and medkits on medium difficulty, only used 1 med kit and I've only died once and that's because I was dicking around. Should've chosen hard. The post apocalyptic metro tunnels aren't supposed to be so hospitable. Whatever its still fun. I hope hard or ranger mode is more challenging.
You've gotta at metro 2033 before jumping into this one to gain respect for the metro tunnels. Last Light summarizes the events in 2033 but it doesn't do it justice.

Got my new TV setup today, 50" LG , pretty stoked its perfect for my room. Anyone else rocking Turtle Beach headsets? if you aren't u are missing out I swear it takes ur games to a whole new level. I got the X41"s with Dolby 7.1 surround sound, in black ops I can hear fools coming a mile away also you can tell exactly what direction they are coming from its crazy. Even on single player it makes it so much more enjoyable, I highly recommend them , mine were kinda pricy but they have some good ones for 60-100$. Here's my setup.

I usually don't recommend gaming headsets to competitive gamers, or to anyone actually. I always thought 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound in a headphone was gimmicky. I mean, you don't have seven speakers in your headphones...
The best headphones I've ever used for competitive gaming were Audio Technica ATH-AD700:

The soundstage on those are incredible, especially for the price. You can pinpoint people and footsteps.
Plus with stereo phones, you can have the best of both worlds without having to have two different headphones, and be super competitive in gaming, and have awesome sound quality with music, movies, and TV. I highly doubt any gaming headset that has pseudo-surround sound is going to be good for TV, movies, and especially not for music.
If you really want a mic, just get a separate one. I actually have my Rock Band mic plugged into my PC, lol.
Anyway, not trying to bash on your recommendation, just want to make sure people know the alternatives.
And congrats on the TV. I'm about to get a 120 or 144 Hz monitor to see how buttery it looks with FPS's.
