FutoStash for DynaVap

Just received my galaxy burl futo stash xl, looks amazing. Much lighter then i thought it would be, but feels very solid. Colors also look great, a mix of shades of purple with light pink or a shade of red i don't know a name for haha.

I can definetly see getting a second one down the road, since i just picked up the damascus omni xl from somebody on the forums.

Only question. For long term care, should we apply anything to the wood like dynawax?

EDIT: Forgot to add, the micros stash also came. A VERY nice stash for being free. Unfortunatley since I don't combust will likely be giving to a friend. But again, as part of the black friday deals that is a pretty solid free gift.

@LongDraw Hey thanks for the nice feedback, so for long term care you want to avoid leaving your stash out in the elements, so excess humidity, water or high heat can affect any wood. Over time wood can develop some patina from use, most woods naturally darken a bit with age etc, which is usually a desired effect. To breathe some new life back into your stash I would recommend a salad bowl finish - we make our own in the shop from beeswax and mineral oil. You can get them off the shelf an any hardware store. Dynawax works great as a salad bowl finish, it's made from hemp oil and beeswax.

@NYC_Frank Hey thanks, it's a team effort but I handle collecting and stabilizing all the burl, playing with the resin, you know the fun part.

@Slotheus The G2 (double garage) stashes just have 2 round compartments for DynaVap's. I have heard some people will pull the spring from the second one and use it for herb. Sounds like you're almost needing a second stash for this scenario

It kinda makes it taste a little bit like coffee on the first heating cycl . I rather enjoy it. Its a nice flavorful surprise.

I can't afford it at the moment, but I definitely will have at least one or two FutoStash in my collection eventually. They are gorgeous!

I've been watching since they first began selling these, and I don't think I can wait much longer

I didn't end up getting a java, but did order two more futos over the past couple of days: a regular size for my M and today I ordered a stabilized gray-ish XL one that looks awesome for an omni

So 3 in total are on their way to the adirondacks. I love the dynastashes, I think the form factor and aesthetics are the coolest way to store a dynavap possible. And these futos appear to take it up a few notches, so I can't wait! Will post pics of the family as they come in

ETA: also, I just want to say that each of my 3 separate orders have been processed lightning fast. I've already received shipping info for the stabilized stash I ordered like ten minutes ago. Very pleasant company to deal with!

I got an email saying my order was shipped on sunday but canada post says the tracking number is invalid and there's nothing on my USPS dashboard whats up with that?
