Fuck You Century Link !!!
How do they stay in business??? We have phone and internet thru them and it would go out several times per year (old copper wire service) so they suggested fiber optic cable. Cable was buried and tech came to connect inside the house in early June. They fucked up and fiber optic cable was broken/no signal.
Result: no fiber optic service and they shut off copper wire service. Any hurry to correct mistake???
Absolutely NOT. Several days with nothing until old service connected back.
Since then we have spent over 11 hours on the phone with Century Link, had our phone or computer go down several times, and still trying to get the install done.
Multiple calls, many lasting over 2 hours, and transfer from dept to dept to repeat dept to repeat dept and got from them a "drop dead date" of June 29 when that's the latest it would be done. No install yet and more time on phone.
The best/worst was today when it was my wife's turn to take the phone abuse. She spent an hour and at the 4th transfer point, they asked where we were located and said they have no account on us (customers for 15 years). She asked where they were located as rep sounded like half asleep/ yawning into phone and he replied, "Honduras, Mexico" and then hung up on her. WTF.
They have taken bad customer service to a new level, an artform , with customer service 10X worse than you think is humanly possible....
In Minnesota, what other options are there for phone , internet , and basic cable TV??

For a communications company, they have no internal communication. We can't get a tech when phone or internet is out BUT twice a tech came out when everything was working???
