This is a sad day for me. I have to go to a funeral for one of my best friends. So I come to this thread for comfort and solace.... and to possibly share this wonderful person.
Debbie was the most positive person I've ever met. She was the only one I've known in my life that could truly keep a secret close to her heart. Always ready with a smile or encouragement. The world has lost one of the most beautiful people.... I'm sorry I didn't see her more often. The one person who would always help if you needed it. The one person to put a positive spin on everything. She had the 'brightest' eyes....

@momofthegoons - I'm so sorry what you had to go through today but have solace in knowing that she was such a close friend to you and the family that for that alone she was blessed.
You know as well as I do that is this doesn't mean the end but now she really gets to be free of pain as she starts her journey. I offer my prayers for strength and I'm sending as much white light as possible. Not for guidance but for love, I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you today friend.

Today is my little girl's birthday. My firstborn. The child that launched me into "grownup" [hysterical laughter] life. First kids have it pretty tough, what with rank newbie parents and all...
She's 39 today. *quick math*... yeah, she really is. Wow.
In other news, I see the doctor to reup my mmj recommendation today. Hopefully he'll have some help for me on the chest congestion/asthma/bronchitis thing. I don't want bronchitis this winter.

I thought I would share our tree topper with my FC family. This was a high school project of my #1 Goon's. He was supposed to depict something that had happened in history.
He stole my daughter's Cool Shaving Ken doll for the project.
For those who can't see, it says, "Hi. I'm Spartacus. Give Jeff an A." Would you fucking believe he got one? This didn't even really happen!
I'm wondering if they were just trying to 'pass him along.'
