First of all, @momofthegoons I take great pleasure in my contribution to your poopfullness. Everyone needs a little poop in their life! I'm just glad I could share mine with all of you.
So tonight I ran out and forgot my meds. It's been a long time since I've seen what PD does to me and at first it really bothered me. It scared me. For a minute it put me back someplace I didn't ever want to be again.
But it was different this time, there was no running into a corner. No locking myself in a room. I called my wife, told her to stay on the phone with me until I got where she met me in the driveway with my patch. The difference was I remembered that I have a choice. Let it beat me?
I let my meds kick in, sat with my kids doing artwork and got myself back under control.
Fuck Parkinson's, it will never beat me!
