I was really annoyed on my wedding day that my husband made me drink water while he had champagne, the dress was rather uncomfortable, chaffing on the old rose buds if you get what I mean.
BTW where did you guys get my wedding pics from ?
Oh I get it, it's one of those pics where I look like my avatar.

I did see him about ten days ago, it was at one of those seedy back alley places. He was grinding on a stripper pole in his mankini and twirking to a old man that looked a bit like Irving zissman.
He was getting dudes to slap him with big fish, dunno what that was about.
He looked ok, but I'll check up on him.
*goes out to buy a big smelly fish to throw at dorkus*

Hey guy's sorry I've been quiet. Sometimes I feel like I can never be at ease. I started feeling much better last week, my arm still doesn't lift but for the most part this diet and new lifestyle had me feeling better than I have in years.

I get a call from my mother that my uncle, and not just an uncle but someone close to me is sick. He's lost 40 pounds in less than a month and has been seeing specialists for the last 2 weeks to figure out what was going on.

Well, his doctor called him in Friday to tell him that they were almost positive that my uncle has a Gastric Adenocarcinoma and would most likely have to have his stomach or part it removed immediately as well as any other organs that may have been affected.

Sad to say as it breaks my heart but I guess I understand his decision to NOT fight. He told us that at 62 being forced to live on a feeding tube and colostomy bag isn't living in his book. He gave the keys to his house to my mother and said if at any point you can't get me on the phone to please make sure my dog is fed. For the first time in 40 years I heard my uncle cry, I felt his fear. He's one of the toughest people I've ever know and to watch him be handed his mortality brought me to my knees.

Please help me and say a prayer to whomever you guy's believe in for my Uncle Cory. He's deserves to have some peace.

Awww mvapes, watching the people we always thought of as the "tough/strong ones" go through an illness like this is always tough. It goes against everything we ever thought about the person and makes them more "human" in our eyes. It also makes us feel more vulnerable. I'm so sorry you are going through this and hope that your uncle is as pain free and happy/comfortable as possible.

I just saved us over $900.00 by questioning my medical bill from my first OFFICE VISIT with my currect Orthopedic surgeon. They were trying to charge me over $900.00 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I'm not sure if they were trying to get away with something, or they really made a mistake, but United Healthcare was going to pay it anyway. Said there was nothing I could do, but I can file an appeal.

I had to call the doctor's office and ask, "your charging me an extra $900.00, on top of an office visit, for a "supposed surgical procedure" you never performed?? You never even touched me, and didn't even put on my cast until December 23rd!

So, they admit it's a "mistake." Is it only a mistake because I caught it? I wonder... They are going to back off the charge, and it will be corrected by the end of the week, and my balance will be zero again.

I don't trust them anymore, so I am switching Orthopedic doctors. I have an appointment with the new Orthopedic doctor next week, February 5th. I've been to this doctor before, and I know them. I also trust them.

The moral of the story? Check your bills! Even if you have great insurance! I think they count on people not checking their bills. I know hospitals charge for procedures they don't do all the time because I saw a story on the local news. They helped the patient get things corrected, but this is insane! It should be illegal, and is certainly immoral. I'd go so far as to call it fraud!

I spoke to my uncle tonight and told him he's getting wishes from all over the world. For the first time in my life my uncle told me he loved me. That was quite a staggering moment for me.

Anyway on the other side of the coin I have to agree with Vicki or about the voters. I think we'll get medical approved but if we want total legal we got a lot of lazy baked fuckers out there that we have to get to the actual polls.

I'm personally starting a new rule for all staff - register to vote or your fucked! You won't be fired as that would be illegal but I have a feeling that your workload will double.

I love being a fucker at work. And yes I'm compensating for something.

I am still amazed at what this thread has become. You folks can't possibly imagine how much this place has inspired me to do better.

You've helped me from diagnosis till today go through an incredibly difficult time in my life. And this thread has outgrown PD and has proven to be a place where a lot of us come and call home.

Some people post, some just lurk and that's okay. It doesn’t matter, what's important is I'm honored to have all of you be a part this thread, or as I refer to it my home on FC.

Ok, so enough of that. Now what this thread needs is to take things back a bit. My good buddy @t-dub once told me that he liked it here because were real in here, things like me admitting that I'm writing this very message while sitting on the bowl.

Or mentioning stories of when I went on spring break while in college on a trip to cancun blowing my money on donkey shows. (probably how I caught Parkinson's, just saying)

Anyways, thank you all for being part of my life - and going forward please remember what makes my thread special:

I feel the same. I know I lurk a lot but you guys don't want me typing too much right now. I just had an IM injection of Toradol and my Stelara shot and I am sitting at home feeling like my ribcage is melting into my spine . . . liquid love . . . I have been waiting weeks for this . . I am shaking, sweating, running around the house in my boxer briefs freaking out on all the new energy . . . fuck I have to calm, the, fuck, down . . .and don't puke . . . :freak:

One thing that brings us all together is VAPORIZING CANNABIS!

Post till your hearts content! Ataxia and PD are very similar diseases. We've spoken about on so many occasions that I've become part of your fan club.
